Those bolt heads wont hold the nuts in the base should be fixed in a recess underneath .

I do not understand why you did glue the nuts in and then added the nailing washer. You could have just drilled through the wood a hole in the size of the bolt and pushed it through from the bottom. That way the press pushes the bolt ends into the wood instead of out

What are the measurements of the bit and nut? And also how long are the long screws that are connected in the base by the way what are they called?
