"i can see through metal, boys, and thats no lie" remains to this day one of the funniest things ive seen on tv. even all these years later i still laugh at it every time.
@@garyerrera3055 me too, man, I showed my son and was hoping for the same reaction and it didn’t happen. Very disappointing. Oh well lol, I think its hilarious
@@jackthomas6952 17. The thing about it is yeah Elvis may have died, way before I was born, nevertheless, his legacy was still in full force. I would not say the same for the current generation, so now he probably just thinks Elvis was a kooky guy. Rather than a heartthrob turned kooky guy.
Over twenty years and "Like I'm watching a baseball game in Germany", "bad Dick Nixon lobster", and "I drank it!" are still things I somehow work into everyday conversations.
Great show. Sasso is amazing. Mad Tv a million times better than SNL. Great memories from my youth. Really funny and sad at the same time, especially the last skit knowing what happened to Elvis.
I'm a big Will Sasso fan. Especially for the Kenny Rogers character. I just discovered this. It's really good. Too bad it's so low quality. Much of the face acting is lost.
I saw Elvis in 1976 and he acted much like this during the entire concert. I am not being mean because I wanted Elvis to be great, but I was crestfallen when I saw what poor shape he was in.
I think he's talking about Joe Esposito, he was his road manager for 20 years and spent almost every waking moment with him. He may have nicknamed him Cutter.
I’ve searched everywhere to see if this was an actual song Elvis sang.. “gonna pawn my fancy jewelry and move to Hollywood, gonna give my boots to a poor man just like me daddy would” I have never been able to find anything 😔
The way Will Sasso channels Elvis's train of thought is just incredible.
That Will Sasso is the best Elvis Presley impersonator I ever seen.
I love all the impressions he does, with the natural comedian he is. He’s incredibly talented and funny.
"i can see through metal, boys, and thats no lie" remains to this day one of the funniest things ive seen on tv. even all these years later i still laugh at it every time.
He was so wasted on draining fluid that from his perspective it really wasn't a lie.
This performance deserves an award. No other elvis portrayal has been more true
“Now, hold down now Rudd. I’m trying to tell a story here man.”
Sasso did his homework on this one. Spot on.
Yeah, Elvis had a nasty temper I heard.
This still makes me laugh just like the day I first seen it 😆😆😆😆
Absolutely, I just showed it to my son and I swear he didn’t laugh once. I say he’s the lame one not me haha

"I can see through metal, boys."
that aint no lie
My favorite part lol 😂
And that's no lie
All right, E.
“At least you’re goin out with some dignity E” 😂😂😂
😆 🤣 😂
This is way better than that new Elvis movie
I love the new elvis film, made me an obsessed elvis fan!
I don't know ... the movie was perfection even with hanks being creepy.. this is comedy so it rules.. but still that movie was perfection
the film was garbage like most biopics
Rut and Charlie wouldn’t win the golden razzie for worst couple unlike Tom Hanks and fake accents
What are you talking about?
It was awesome
I love how he looks at Charlie when Rudd interrupts him like, “the hell with this guy” lol
I remember seeing this for the first time…I lost it when he brought the hotdog up again. That was one prophetic hotdog.
I say, you better stop eatin all that flan cake there, Cutter.
This is my perennial Favorite Mad TV skit. It makes me weep. 💀
"I carved a K in my forehead cause Im the King. I wouldve carved an E, but ya know its too many letters."
This is one of the best sketches I’ve ever seen
“My hotdog told me the Braves we’re gonna win the baseball game”
"And then they did."
That's one intelligent hotdog.
great show E
Boy that Cutter sure is one hell of a card man! Love to go to a Ranger game with him!
Yesss but question, pre or post decapitation? You just know there’s Cadillac juice spill all out his neck sutures
Oh. E is telling a story and you interrupt him like that.
_lonely niiiiiiiight in texas_
This skit alone was proof that Mad TV, most of the time, was funnier than SNL.
Mad TV and SCTV two of the funniest shows ever ❤😂
I was there, it was not at the time. Mad was very hit or miss
I just loved Mad tv it had a darker and funnier tone than the often corny SNL.
How am i barely seen this now lol this was hilarious 😂 love Will Sasso ans Elvis Presley 👍
The face twitching is masterful. Absolutely hilarious!
We need a better quality copy.

Will Sasso's Elvis skits were a fever dream. Especially, when they do the close up on his crazy eyes.
This is so genius funny I remember this it’s so insanely good
I've seen this at least 50 times. By far, the funniest and authentic imagery of E. ever done!
Baked beans, I say hot baked beans.
this is good thanks styx
Imitation is the most sincerest form of flattery!

I love Elvis, but I bet this is spot on! 😂❤
Some of my favorite skits 😂
I saw Elvis in 1976 and he acted much like this during the entire concert. I am not being mean because I wanted Elvis to be great, but I was crestfallen when I saw what poor shape he was in.
I miss this show
Kinda scary how Will nailed the dying Elvis version.you can actually see death in his face
I love how concerned Chevy sounded "P.. president Richard Nixon"
One of the funniest skits I've ever seen. Hilarious.
The part about the talking hot dog made me lose my shit!
Will should tour a few actual Elvis festivals and drop that on the crowd. I don’t know if he’s win or get lynched but it’d be funny AF!
Will Sasso should have done a whole biopic lol
So funny and so sad at the same time
This is by far the funniest skit I ever saw on MadTV. Will Sasso is insanely funny.
WTF?!! 😂😂😂😂 Sasso is hilarious man!!
This shit is hilarious 😂
Absolutely hilarious!!😅
Only two people that were perfect Elvis’s: Will Sasso and Jack White
This is the greatest impression of Elvis i ever saw not even jim carry or beauer can top this its top shelf ❤
Aren’t cole slaw and sauerkraut from cabbage? A hot dog with the works and too much flan cake.
lmao good times! still laugh out loud hilarious all these years later. thank you for the laughs
THATs why He the King.
thats vivid E.
Eat your heart out Austin Butler. Sasso did it better lol.
Sasso goated after this skit!
Will Sasso is underrated. Dude is funny as hell.
What the hell this is insane
Perfection.
Elvis would laugh on this 100% True Will Sasso
Fabulous.
Funny af 🤣🤣🤣
Cough cough!! That Cutter man…
This is for u brother good bye paul😢
So it’s 2024. where are the new stars? comedy legends etc at?
This is so funny yet pitch pitch pitch dark. 90s edge
Sweet, sweet hand meat 😂😂
You ate Dick Nixon's hand meat, E?
To this day, I want to know who the hell Cutter is...
So the hot dog talked to you, E?
Funny
This is more like Elvis than the movie. I mean he was forced to do all the drugs 😂.
what he said 💀😭
🙄
Mustard with melted American cheese. Sauerkraut if it’s a good hot dog.
Who was Cutter? Was Chuckie and Rudd real people?
Cutter is I don’t know if the other 2 are
Yes (Rudd) Red west and Charlie hodge both apart of his entourage
