Jess try winter sowing some of your flowers,
Larkspur, Delphiums, lupins, Columbine, hollyhocks and most cool flowers love this technique. It’s very hands off and produced lovely sturdy seedlings. (A quick google brings up lots of tutorials)
Lupins i would always recommend to do multiple sowings off because apparently they are the most delicious to slugs ever. Gorgeous garden 🥰 one can never have too many flowers

Aww lovely! My decking is ALL about flowers in pots so I love everything Jess is doing. I hope my sowings come to fruition, I get jealous when I see everything in flower in the garden centre and mine are still seedlings. Come July though…. 👌🏼

Ah you guys have done a great job. Jess you are the flower Queen😄Your cosmos is looking great ! I have such trouble growing them from seed, they alway go so leggy even if I sow them in the greenhouse and now the few I did mange to rescue have been eaten off by a flipping snail I didn't spot in my greenhouse grrr. I will try again, we have had such a dark and miserable spring I am sure anything we sow now will be much better anyway :-) so keeeep sowing!! 😊🥰

The mystery plant in the arch bed is a sedge growing from the compost that the garden centre used for their potting mix. The clematis are Cl. Montana they're spring flowering but our old one flowered most of the summer and will cover the arch no problem. If you want a rose for the arch then I can recommend Blush Noisette, it has clusters of pale pink flowers that are about 2" (5 cm to you kids) Highly scented and ours flowers from anytime now till November. Don't give up on the lupins Jess, kick all those Chillies out side and take over the lights and heat🤣. you need a greenhouse thats the answer ... JB can put you one up as he's had some practice😂😂.
    look great

Jess, be patient with your pansies. I'd given up on the tray I have under lights X5 weeks now....as I approached the tray to initiate Plan B for the tray......I'm seeing the sweetest wee sprouts in most of the cells. Also, retain your confidence in the bottom-of-tray labels. I'm confident they are what they say (however hard to read). I've learned to use an acrylic paint pen (come in many light/dark colours) for permanent marking. Another great episode.

JB, I also have an overwintered tomato. I got it from one of my homegrown tomatoes last year. When I cut the tomato open, all the seeds had already sprouted. Only one survived, but it's looking very healthy. Hope it fruits.

Lovely to see Jess's flowers - I've grown my own lupins this year they've been outside for a few weeks now and are flourishing really well - I'm on the east coast (Whitby) so we don't get much snow but do get high winds 🌿 will Jess leave the tulips in the tubs just cutting them back later - I've also put bulbs into tubs (some in the ground too) but like moving the pots around 🌷🌷🌷 one of my sons gave me some money for mothers day so I treated myself to a Camellia from Lidl they've had some really good value plants over the last few years - even saw some 6 packs of kale and cabbages last week too - good as starters for us new fruit and veg gardeners 🌿
