Thanks for uploading 👍👍🤘🤘I was there with my wife and one of our daughters - seated just out of shot on the bottom left close to the stage. They were great, as usual. At the end of the concert, my daughter said she was amazed she knew every word of the Quadrophenia excerpts they played, then worked out that it was because when I used to drive her and her sister to school, it was the only thing I played in the car 🤣 Brainwashing does work 🤣
OK, for all you naysayers and malcontents. No, they are not the band we saw in the 60s and 70s BUT I think Roger’s voice is on the money for someone who is almost 80!!! 80!!!
These guys are Gods!!
Doubt me? Watch Woodstock, Leeds, Monterey and even the stadium shows of the 70s.
RIP Keith and The Ox
MUCH RESPECT
Totally agree. Saw them last night in Chester-le-Street (near Durham) and they were amazing. Roger's voice is still powerful at 79.
Hello 🌹🌿
The Who with an orchestra... not something they would have contemplated in the 60s. Great to see they are still going strong.
2 hours+ rocking on stage at almost 80 years old, not bad!
1965 Pete Townshend 20 years old wrote : I hope I die before I get old ! . . . ( My Generation ) . Please retire guys . . .
@@gerardpardon4280 I belive they're enjoying it.
@@pierrechristen9025 I was at the concert in Paris and the feeling felt when leaving the Defense Arena was sadness , sincerely ,
Pourquoi ?
No, it's damn brilliant!
Loved the concert venue was beautiful and the band were brilliant
I travelled from Dublin and loved my Who experience in Berlin
Phenomenal upload.
Thanks from Canada❤️🎸
❤Guess Who
I always was a Who fan and still am. Good to see and hear them.Thanks.

First saw them in Manchester in 1975 awesome and this was incredible I was tearing up with some of the songs fantastic legendary venue well done Germany ❤❤❤
The significance of won’t get fooled again in 2023 cannot be underestimated..a truly prophetic song
Saw them in Wembley 2019, now seeing them in Edinburgh tomorrow. Can’t wait. You can’t whack The Who.
Listening to The Who live was one of my biggest dreams for sure. I came 300km to be at this concert. And I was not disappointed! Pete and Roger were amazing. Rest of the band and orchestra were great too. I was not only excited to see them live, but also really touched while listening to their greatest hits. Listening live these legends is unforgettable experience!
This was no doubt a great show but to see the Who live you had to see and hear them in the 70's when they where the best and loudest band around. This us wonderful music but if you saw this concert you have never seen the 'orrible 'Oh live!
What a fantastic concert in Germany great crowd from England seen them 8 times but never with an orchestra fantastic footage ❤
Seen The Who many times through the years, but the very first time was in Houston, Texas as they opened up for Herman Hermits, Believe it or not, way back in the late 1960"s. I still like them when they were only the four of them, performing, but I understand with all the sound now days, they have extra people playing now days.
AMAZING concert. They sounded like in 2015-2017. Pete was on fire. Roger was swinging the microphone as before and moving around a lot. Probably one of the best concerts on the 2022-2023 tour. Thank you.
In one of Mic swings, it hit the floor and you could hear like a big Boom from the speakers.
That was funny.
@@jugglingbeast classic :D
One of the greatest concerts i've ever been to in my life! When they started playing See Me, Feel Me i literally started crying, a night i will never forget..
October 75 Bingly Hall Stafford, I Also Cried ..See Me Feel Me.. Just Brilliant!
WOW, ‼️ Thanks For Streaming great Show ‼️‼️‼️‼️🤘☝️🔥💥🤘☝️🔥💥🤘☝️🔥💥
Thanks!😎
AWESOME Thank you for sharing this! G
Thanks so much. I was there in the front row center (wearing the Union Jack). It's fun to see myself and all of my friends, as well as this full stage vantage point. The high, far away stage sucked, but the venue itself was lovely, and the show was great.
Thanks for sharing , great video.

Can't wait for Edinburgh Castle.Superb stuff.
The Who is still the greatest live band in the world! Live At Berlin!!! But, I feel sorry for The Who By Numbers...they played no songs from that album.
I love the who by numbers.
Blue Red and Grey would have been nice
Would love to hear "In a Hand or a Face" live, don't believe it was ever performed live.
Yesssss Great Sound and Show 💥🔥☝️🤘💥🔥☝️🤘
Subscribed Immediately!!! What The Who Live in 2023?! WOW 😳!!!
Bravo.....Bravo.....Epic.
Good, bad, indifferent; no matter, it is still the best damn rock band ever.
A band that reminds me of younger days, of which I thoroughly enjoyed. Great memories brought forth by simply echoes of a voice from past and reminded in the current.
Play till ya drop, a true rocker!!
Should be titled, Peter Townshend & Roger Daltrey present the music of THE WHO.
Sure , and Robert plants tour should say
Robert sings lullabies
Let me give you an analogy. I’m 57 and a runner. I’ve been a runner for 26 years. I used to be fast but I’m not anymore not by a long shot. My knees and my lungs are shot but I still run as much as I can. Slowly. Should people look at me and ask why I don’t just give it up or should they look at me and give me credit for still being out there doing it because I obviously love it?
good boy, run on... michael knudsen
Go for it...I'm 74 and I love swimming laps and The Who
Thank you from Glasgow, Scotland :)

The Greatest Rock & Roll band on the planet!
In the universe.
I was also there, it was pure joy for me and my friend. Tommy I can sing almost by heart. It was a great show and I am very glad to have seen them the second time. Unfortunately I missed My Generation and for example Magic Bus. But I do not want to moan :-)
Omg, Love Reign O'er Me is something... I got goosebumps! If I had been there, I would have just DIED of delight 😮 or my ligaments burst from singing along for two hours...
Thanks for the video!!
I was on my feet dancing and singing for most of the show ,5.15 got me 😂
Man, Roger sounds better than ever! Amazing.
Thanks for the upload. My best friend had the honor to be on stage that night. Unfortunately I could not be there.

@@jugglingbeastmho it is called underture, not overture
But thanks giving anybody for the hyperlinked timestamps tracklist anyway.
Roger and Pete are nearly 80 and sound INCREDIBLE…Roger’s voice from 2017 on has gotten YOUNGER, sounding more like his younger self than the early ‘00’s shows. I don’t get it.
YES!!❤
Dont know what people are moaning about, they sound great!
Everyone's a critic
I feel the same, not too shabby considering their age.
❤The Who❤
I prefer the Who without philarmonic orchestra behind, when they played louder.
Great! Thanks for posting - really enjoyed it!

Sueño con ver a The Who algún día 😢
When my father was in The Army. We lived in Berlin. From early 69 to mid 70.
Mine was there is the 50's.
In the fifties. WOW. @@robfrasier9412
I am almost crying 😭! Thanks for sharing mate! Can’t wait to see them in Durham. Could you please tell me when they came on stage? Like 8:00pm or something else?
Something like that. In Germany everything works like a clock.
Was fortunate to see them
re @19:17 THE ACID QUEEN: In the 1975 film TOMMY, the ACID QUEEN is played by the one and only Tina Turner.
EPIC!!
😐
Obrigado THE WHO, que O Criador os abencoe!!Amem
thanks 🤘

Not doing my homework i didnt undestand how much time it takes to get there from the city center, and walking towards the location, in a hot day and among many people who participated in another event, i could hear music played in the distance. I was sure i will miss the Tommy part, and got really upset, angry and thinking i should have never fly that long. It turned out it was the warmup gig... when the show started i suddenly became relaxed and calm... The Who dose... never a bad madicine.
Seen them in Firenze a few day before, and in Brighton a few days ago. Could be that these were my last The Who shows ever... but then I said that in NYC in Oct. 2000... and many times since.
I mean, roger is singing as well as can be expected at this stage, but i really would not want to continue in his position. But he obviously wants to.
Klasse!
Please tour Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks for sharing!
Thankyou
all things considered, this seems to be a great performance, how could anyone expect it to be 1975? the music must change! credit given for remaining a live act! Pete at 78 & Roger at 79 years old, wow!
Some people would complain about a free lunch.
Because there is no free lunch
Roger sounds better than ever! I hope they tour the states.
I love The Who, but as drummer, I just can't get past the electronic drums.....sigh.
Yeah ridiculous
I hear ya. Wish I could resurrect Keith.
@@mattthrun-nowicki8641 yea Wouldent That Be Great..
I love the Who too. If you want to see good drumming covers of the Who, check out Sina-drums. She's from Germany and does a great job on 21 and other Tommy numbers.
I wish they would play Slip Kid.
Last 10 years they've played it a few times but Pete won't do it regularly
im so glad i brought my binoclulars lol
It's about the music. Don't forget that.
It’s also about the feelings that music generated. 👍
Eu estive em 1917 no Allianz Park, a cada ano estao melhores!!God Bless The Who!!
1917, encontrou o Charles Chaplin?
going to see these at Durham , i knew the E street band were a great band , but didnt realise how much better they are to other great bands
Always on the road after all theses years they are really amazing
Thanks for the timestamps and including the names of the artists-- rare thing around here. Roger's flubs are my favorite part.

thank you, obrigado
"Netter Nostalgieabend",mehr war wohl nicht drin...!Schön,das es die Herren Daltrey/Townshend noch gibt, aber das war´s dann
auch,noch1% der alten Energie(ich weiß,fast 80!),die ROLLING STONES spielen sie locker beim warm-up an die Wand!!!
Jetzt weiß man, warum es in MY GENERATION heißt":I hope I die before I get old...!"
Trotzdem alles in allem:"Ganz nett...!"
The Who waren auch die einzige englische Band in Woodstock 69
The who is my favorite, but it's time to change the act.
Rework the songs into mellow acoustic numbers.
No one asked you.
GREATTTTT
I was only eleven when we last together and I was a sincere boy. I knew Roger daultry.
Time to pack it in , live 1977 Kilburn now that's the real who!!!
.
Agreed!
It's 2023 get your head out of the gutter.
Like peter gabriel a couple of weeks back this Berlin shows seem to start in afternoon...it's all over before the sun goes down. Pity the poor jumbo trons and the lighting...why so early?
its just the nights are still light till 10pm over here at the moment
I was driving around one night---in the mid 1980s in Teaneck NJ --and i heard on the radio--the Who were on a farewell tour.... 40 years ago!!! Rogers voice has got to be done.
How was the USA in the 80's?
@@jugglingbeast Much better than it is now
Aye, mates!

Where was it in Berlin ?
Waldbühne ?
Yes. Waldbuhne. (Sorry. American here. I don't know how to get my keyboard to make the dots.)

Simplesmente a melhor !!!
Desde Honduras.Saludos a the Who
Good sound.
Hello 🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀🌹🍀
Wow time to go fellas. This was really bad.
No Keith no John = no Who
@@spunkydouggy1756 I agree, but they still sounded amazing in the 1980s especially with their 1989 usa tour with Simon Philips on drums!
Ich war dabei!
The original boy band.
Was hoping to see someone demolish a cello or smash a violin.
Why smashing instruments in the first place?
@@jugglingbeast Good point, but they could have at least set fire to a kettle drum
Erm... "My Generation", anybody...?
They didn't do it
WHO'S LEFT
When does bingo start?
🤣🤣
Whilst it’s great to hear the music unfortunately the camera is so far away there is literally nothing to see
The bands are retiring and soon the old hippies will fade away and an end to a great experience done.
The old hippies are long gone...they went away with the likes of Morrison, Hendrix and Janis Joplin ..now only the opportunists remain ..to reap the harvest left by the rockers of yester years ...
@@user-wp2gu5zh6b I was 11 when the ones you've named died.
I went to see Jim's grave in Paris. This moment will always remain in my head.
My special ones were: Jimi, The Who, Santana, Jefferson Airplane etc.
Then I embraced glam rock, then prog rock, and then in the last quarter a huge wave came over me. Yes! Punk rock.
1977 and 78 were the most funny times at concerts.
Then I felt into the new wave and cold wave as well as the new romantic.
And then what I call "new rock" with the Minds, U2, Cranberries, Garbage, Muse etc.
And yes. I still go to concerts. To see oldies. But not only.
And U? What is you musical experience???
too far away footage to enjoy visually...turn off the tele and UP!! the audio volume I say...👊👊👊👊👊🤘
