Good advice Brother 🇺🇸 You and Old school are both top notch in my book. I was raised with them old school values too. God bless you and God bless America 💯🙏🇺🇸
Im over here in the Philippines getting ready to try my hand at making some shine wish I could get ahold of your malted smoked corn here but I've learned from your channel how to make my own thank you for sharing my friend
I have malted rye but found you lose a lot of the pepper bite when you do . I malt wheat try that you will have a better result with ground grain rye .
Got 15lb of soured corn steeped in yesterday....I stirred for a good 40 min prolly. Was first time it worked like it's supposed to!! The corn cooked in so soft and aromatic it blew mind! Can't wait to get it in the still
I screwed up my malting corn the other day , dumb ass I should have soaked it one more time and put it under the back window of my car (for the heat to germinate) like I did with my oats a couple weeks ago .do you know of any real difference between Oates and barley in regards to making moonshine
@@johnmiller7162 yeah pretty much middle of winter but it's pretty mild in my region usually , can grow winter vegetables and some stuff like citrus all year long , I can't work anymore I blew my back out as a horticulturist growing veggies and fruit trees ,in winter I trap a few possums for exercise and a little extra cash these days ,our possums a bit different to yours ......hay tell me is it fake the things like movies and discoveries moonshiners where they say old moonshiners used to use opossum cock bones in the end of there copper pipe to direct the flow of the shin ....or is more tv bullshit

Good morning
I have a question, what does your grain/ malt bill look like for your second and third run of your sour?
i keep my grain from the last run in my barrel add yeast and malt thats it
I’d love to pick your brain brother. Have you had much experience with an alembic still
See if she’ll turn loose of that recipe because I ain’t found one yet that’s not too sweet
Agreed, I rather have a less sweet apple pie myself. A good apple pie shine is an art of its own imo
Might make a good video. Just saying.
