Lions fans break decibel level record at Ford Field during playoff victory

- It was announced Wednesday that the loudest decibel level at Ford Field was broken on Sunday night. Before the Lions 24-23 playoff victory over the Rams the decibel level was recorded at 133.6.

This crowd caused the Rams to call two time outs because they couldn’t hear the class from Stafford. Hopefully, the crowd will do it again this Sunday! Go Lions!

Many of them are the people who moved out of Detroit over the last 30 years. At one time Detroit had a population of 1.8 million. Today a little over 700K.

Couldnt imagine how loud arrowhead would be as a dome. We still got the record.
Since arrowhead is a one-use complex, their stands are more vertical too allow better viewing angles. This creates closer reflections and a louder sound.
If the same kc crowd shouted at Ford field, I don't think they would be as loud, especially with Ford field's insulation.
