Classic piece - classic and timeless band. Love Irfan ! Thank you for your music ! Transcendental music that takes one out of this material world, into the realm of spirit.
@farawladee I've been on the same quest. I think there are 2 languages in this song. The main chant through most of the song is indeed Latin. It sounds like "gaudens in novino" which means "rejoice in the new" but at 4:06 it does not sound like Latin. They are a 1: Bulgarian band with a 2: Persian name, singing a song with some 3: Latin but has 4: French & 5: English in the title (Outremer was an old word for Palestine where 6: Arabic and 7: Hebrew is spoken) I'm clueless to the other lyrics.
@brojoghost I think you might be right about the "gaudens in novino", I do hear that as in "gaudens in... gaudens in... gaudens in novino" But then, when the melody changes, I think it might be: "futura fiamma" which means "future fire/flame". I'm trying some words out on a translating site, we'll see what I can make out :)
One of my favorite pieces. Wonderful to see them live. If you want the amazing lyrics, here they are: www.metrolyrics.com/outremer-lyrics-vnv-nation.html
