Hi, Here's some details. Inverter Maximum PV voltake is 500 Volts. * 575W JA Solar panel comes with Open Circuit 51.3 volts. * 575W Canadian Solar panel comes with Open Circuit 52 volts. Therefore, without the panel details it is hard to give you an exact answer but most 575W panel specifications show the voltage level over 50. Which makes it go higher than the inverter supported voltage when used in series. One of my friends are using Canadian Solar 550W (49.6V) x 10 which becomes 496 volts in total. It looks like a good match for the inverter. I suggest you stick to inverter specifications.
@@diydesk thanks, my installer made 02 strings of 5/5 575 watt panels and connected in parallel. i have maximum voltage about 235 & inverter trips if heavy load is applied i.e. 3000 watts. note that i have not connected the batteries yet. is my settings is optimum or needs to be changed.
I'm novice here. I've read the manuals but still can't understand the different between All-in-one inverters vs Hybrid inverters. So, what would be the main reason to choose between them? I can't find anything from reading the manual.
@@diydesk I want an off-grid system, but during the rainy season it could be rainy/cloudy for days, so, being on-grid can't be avoided (it's cheaper to get connected to the grid than buying a generator).
Be very careful with POWMr. This company is not reliable. I bought them a micro-inverter. After 6 months, it was out of order. So, it was the hell during 2 weeks to join them. Then, hell again to claim for guarantee : they refused and asked me to proceed to many tests and claimed for video and this and that.. Finally, they did not do anything. 85€ direct to the bin Don't buy anything to this company

Best off grid inverter for DIY projects - PowMr (PowerMR)? I will have to disagree with the statements on this ad. This is not the best hybrid solar inverter. I purchased one, recently. It stopped working and trying to get a direct response or fix for the inverter has been impossible. Customer service with this company is horrible.
Sorry to hear about your experience with the PowMr inverter. Could you let me know where you purchased it and what specifically caused the issue? It might help to identify whether the problem was due to the unit itself or other factors. I’d also like to clarify that this isn’t an ad but rather my personal opinion about the brand based on my own experience. While I agree there are better inverters on the market, I find PowMr offers a good balance of price and service for DIY projects. That said, I’ve heard similar concerns before-especially from those who bought from certain AliExpress sellers. Some of them are known to sell refurbished units, which might explain the problems. In fact, a friend of mine ended up with an inverter that had a used mainboard, complete with solder marks-definitely not up to standard compared to an original unit. It’s always a good idea to purchase directly from authorized sellers or through reliable platforms to avoid these issues. I hope you manage to resolve this soon! Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help.
@diydesk The inverter was purchased on Ebay PowMr directly. As for the issue, it went on standby mode the second time I turned it on. It receives communication from the battery and the grid, but it doesn't activate. I think I have it sorted out. The inverter is divided internally as AC (the left side of the internal module) and DC (the right side module of the inverter). After some testings, it seems like the AC portion is not working properly.
Dear @garytrawinski1843, Thank you for your valuable comment, and I sincerely apologize for the language barrier you experienced. The links provided for the user manuals are from the PowMr website and they have some manuals in English and some in Chinese versions. To overcome this language challenge, you can utilize Google's online PDF translation tool at translate.google.com/?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&op=docs. I'm truly sorry for any dissatisfaction caused, and I want to emphasize that PowMr doesn't sponsor or pay me. They usually share the WhatsApp number/s when you purchase through AliBaba. If not you can use the chat option.
