Tbh Tim I misread the caption and thought it said Carpet Muncher. Anyway after the initial disappointment it turned out to be a watchable video about a car.
Nice one Tim 👍🏻 Tebay Sercives hold a special place in my heart ❤️ I had a go in a MacanE the other day, and the same Porscheness was EVident 🤓 Lovely thing to drive! ….I’d pay money to have radar cruise removed though 😂
It's a 'pretty' car Tim but having seen them in real life, they are huge ! It's a bit of a cheek though that having spent £100k on it, the sound system is mediocre. :)
I just dont understand how anyone can warrant buying a car that depreciates so badly. I understand getting one as a company car where the contibutions are small relevant to an equivalent ICE car but not privately. Also, who is paying for those company car contributions? The taxpayer? Doesn't sound fair to me.
Can you park it at home or will it void your home insurance when it burns your house down? Can you actually get insuance on it either? Check out the MacMans videos! Wouldnt swap my 996TT for a brand new one of these EVER
How expensive/ difficult to insure the Taycan plus are Porsche service and parts costs still a rip off. If not prohibitive to run then this new base model sounds like a really good used buy at maybe £50k in a years time. That is of course if Porsche can actually still sell them after the depreciation disaster of the original Taycan.
There is absolutely nothing I see there that accounts for the huge asking price. Looks to be a dark and average cabin worthy of a £40k EV. And don't even get me started on the "options" list , which is full of stuff most other car manufacturers add in for free. Bit of a joke and a depreciating nightmare of a car. OK to lease. Just don't buy one.
Strange how you say that , I've been driving for 41 years, had an EV the last 6 years, hardly any were about when I first got my EV so I used to count them every time I went out . 6 years later there are so many EVs on the road now it's a waste of time even trying to count them and I just live in a little town in Nottinghamshire, when I travel on the motorway, the motorways has loads on and the charging infrastructure has exploded in the last 3 years and the chargers are always busy when I pull into the motorway services. Strange then that people like yourself say no one wants them 🤔 And these figures also say you are wrong, sorry if it upsets you 👍AI Overview In 2024, electric vehicle (EV) sales in the UK have been strong, with the number of fully electric cars sold growing year-on-year: Market share As of 2024, fully electric cars make up 18.7% of all new car registrations in the UK, up from 6.6% in 2020. 290mile max average and worse in weather... no way you get better than 3miles/kwhr at 71-77average motorway. Tim if any of this content is supported need to declare it. heard you mention motorpoint..
If you listen hard enough you can hear the Taycan depreciate as well….as ever an entertaining edition with Mr Rodie. Keep the good work up pal….
Oh , a Mitja Borkert design !!❤❤❤
I watched that video with motorpoint
Was a great vs video with the Taycan n X7.
Thank you! We'll do it with some cheaper cars next year...
Here for the Meat Loaf!🤘

Why do people keep pronouncing Porsche like "porch" ? 😔

The most expensive option for this car is the option you made buying this horrendously depreciating car 😱🤣.
Whenever I see these I just think company car. Just couldn't care less about them
