Yes it was sad but that was the second saddest imo the first would be Clay getting hugged in the dance party S2Ep13 and the third saddest scene is the one where Clay says to Hannah that he loves her and she responds "why didn't you say this to me when I was alive" Oof I'm getting emotional sorry
Everyone involved in 13rw should be immensely proud of everything about it. It shows real issues that happen all over the world everyday and learns everyone that your actions do have consequences and have a knock on effect for lots of people. All the actors are amazing, especially Dylan Minette. If it saves even one person then it's worth it isn't it?
But they also go against mental health professionals who have guidelines on how to portray suicide, they actually do glamourise it and hold it on a pedestal, it can be very triggering to people who suffer with mental illness
Suicide rates raised drastically, she killed her self selfishly for revenge on others. the show did not show how to reach out to others it showed them HOW to do it and not to stop it. It goes against all mental health guidelines and is VERY triggering to viewers who've experience anything like this before.
@@ashsasmr8185 This show was not meant for people facing those troubles bcz that would definitely make them feel more depressed and could result one committing suicide thats why they added a disclaimer at the starting of each season .IMO the show was excellent definitely dark and emotional yet phenomenal
Allen Payne when Tyler got a mopstick up the butthole in the school bathroom no one in my school used the bathroom for the rest of the year and it was a topic of bullying that everyone talked out
Yehh it was cut. There were loads of complaints, and after a women's daughter (who was Bipolar) committed suicide a few weeks after watching 13Reasons they axed the scene. Its unfortunate as it was soooo grim and raw, if anything they've done the show a disservice as it highlighted how painful/traumatising suicide is 🤦♀️
Of course it was cut. It needed to be that scene and the show in general raised a 29% ( statistic from the Journal of the American Academy of child and adolescent psychiatry ) increase in suicides the month after it was released. Not to mention saying that it’s not that bad because it was a girl who is bipolar isn’t right either because about 90% of people who die by Suicide have a mental health problem. ( according to NAMI the National Alliance on Mental Health. ) So really think about it, is it better we have this scene in?
@@BrooklynHallett But the scene was not romanticized one bit, you can see Hannah hesitating and you can almost feel her pain. If something like that motivated someone to commit suicide, I'm sorry, they were doomed from the start (or haven't received enough help). I didn't even want to look at my wrists for a solid week or two after seeing that.
Dylan's face is very serious ... this show is difficult because the story is very hard and intense. But the program changed the lives of many people and now we can see how children, students tell their parents about the bulliyng they suffer in school. So the fact of having done this series has helped many people and within the bad that relates has a good part in real life. In this case it is that we talk more about the buliyng and that we have more care and attention with those who suffer it
i loved season 2. how it addressed that maybe they DIDN'T have to pass on the tapes. maybe they couldn't know WHY she left those tapes. how she was really mean for just blaming everyone for HER choice. just all that. it was really good that they showed that too.
And some of those people were just teens being teens. Teens do stupid shit all the time, we've all been there. Of course being a rapist is another thing, but that's beyond excusable anyways.
Anybody wants to see the short video I've made about season 2? I prefered the first season actually, but I was so hyped about this one that I finished it in 3 days!
Where can i find the scene today? kinda stupid how it was removed considering maybe people want to watch it and learn about what other people go through. etc.
The fact they took away that scene as someone who has found a “suicide” honestly makes me so upset!!!! I want these people who partake in those humans decisions realise it is the only way we will learn we are just hiding it and that it makes it so shameful
All that work with editing and everything and it was deleted because a mother thought the show had something to do with it. The show was raising awareness and like usual good stuff is too overwhelming for the “sensitive world”
mattincage, WOW. Some people. Don’t do there research. Not surprised. Well here I go, according to the Journal of American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry the month after which 13 Reasons Why first aired there was a 28.9 percent increase in Suicide among ages 10-19 the target audience for this show. So it wasn’t just one family. Also “sensitive world” dude you’re not those families and have no idea what it is like for them personally. So please enlighten yourself.
13 reasons why is like Mrs Fleming with heathers, it 'tries' to make things 'better' but ignores psychiatrists, triggers people with mental health problems and is shit
This was graphic and it makes me feel weak stomached not to puke or upset just like a scared butterfly in my stomach not butterfly nervous butterfly cringe kinda awch
It was necessary cause it showed how other characters dealed with their problems and how their lives went on. It was necesary not only to show the problems(season 1)but also their solutions(season 2).
Hannah was Katherine's first job? She is so talented!
@nate it clearly makes sense but ok mate
Nope, Wikipedia says otherwise
The real Dylan is so similar to his character and I absolutely love it
When clay is not talking he is still in character lol
I think he was doing it so Katherine could speak on a touching topic that happens to sadly a large amount of people
That's the hardest scene to watch, I have never seen a sadder scene on any show
agree

Season 2 is so heart breaking
Allen Payne Ikr; it was kind of hard to watch😔
Allen Payne it is???? seriously? people told me season 2 was unnecessary i completed season 1 in 2 days
goku ultra inspired You have to really judge for yourself
Allen Payne when Tyler got a mopstick up the butthole in the school bathroom no one in my school used the bathroom for the rest of the year and it was a topic of bullying that everyone talked out
i had to turn my face so i didn't even realize he got a mop up the ass until there was articles saying "this show has gone too far"
the scene been cut but I watched it when it was uncut. it really raised awareness shouldn't have been cut.

I don't cry over movies, much less TV shows. But when Hannah's mom discovers Hannah in the bathtub... man. That bothered me so much.
Audience: You know that suicide scene was pretty graphic
Season 2 * grabs broomstick *: Hold my beer
Lumos SK mop, not broom.
thats the scariest part for me
That scene was discusting
i couldnt watch that scene i had to skip

what a masterpiece the first season is.
she did a great job of using a more american accent for Hannah
I've never cried so much over a show
0:35 Dylan looks so awkward when he catches Katherine’s eyes. It’s like he was still in Clay’s character.
I've only seen the scene once when watching the show, and I can still vividly remember how it played out. It was so surreal and such an OMG moment.
That fly during Katherine and Dylan's interview was all I was focused on. O.O
Jennifer Everdeen 😂
I love season 2
Chelsie Cannon-Bowie me too, it’s so good!
Katherine legend she is so talented
hopefully it help people thinking about doing it stop and reconsider!! She put so much heart into the character.. they all did

why does Clay look so unamused in this interview
Katherine you are amazing

I like season 2 but I think that Tyler scene is too graphic
Deejay008 Dj yeah but some people go through that so it was kinda necessary to put that scene there
That was bad :( i watch it in 10 years old
Deejay008 Dj it was graphic enough to make u think about it more
I felt akward watching it 😅
...but it is not too graphic to show three women getting raped on the show?
I love they so much
my dear god....and clay is still imagining her !!!
Netflix cut that scene can anyone tell me where I can find it?
You can look up Hannah Baker's death scene on RUclips

I know that It is imposible but o just want to see that Hannah is alive in season 3
Annelo lopez same, like, what would happened if she had never died, but I guess it wouldn't be thirteen reasons why then
Pollu it would be 13 reasons why not
OMG THAT IS LITERALLY ALL I THINK ABOUT SJSJJJSS
They can do an alternate version.
Derrick Howard jr they need to
And yet they take the scene and cut it out so we cant see it anymore...
Devastating scene
her voice sounds so different here
She’s Australian that’s why, she gives her character an American accent but in real life she’s Australian
i hate netflix for editing it
Dylan looks like he just got out of bed
She looks way to much like my sister😂🤨.
U AND UR SISTER MUST BE BEAUTIFUL
Oh really u say your sister have beautiful just like Katherine Langford so many things match your with Katherine Langford 😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
hum... tentando traduzir tudo isso. pra entender
PLEASE EVERYONE DID HANNAH BAKER CLAIMS JUSTICE?
The suicide scene (before the edit) made me literally throw up. No other movie, TV show, or anything else has ever affected me in that way.
It made me so sad for Hannah… she’s been through enough trauma!
hannahs alive yayy!!!!
She never died, Katherine (the actress) played Hannah
This series will make you feel super crazy🥲. Fact that Justin dies... Clay shoots himself... Tyler getting brutally beaten and worse more💀
