@GhSider I think OP's point is that the YT title is misleading. There's no flying modular car in this video, just an oversized drone in the back of a van.
@@fonz2002 but it's modular right? Yeah it's a car/van that have wheels to run in asphalt and you can detached their module to flying out. I know it's don't look cool and so innovative but this can being implemented into real life.
@@GhSider as Fonz says, the RUclips title is misleading because it says flying car, this is neither, it’s a van with a drone in the back. There are companies in china and others that have actually made a car that flies, they have wings or props that fold out to facilitate its ability to fly BUT they are attached to the car, meaning it’s the car you drive that actually flies, with this you drive the van, stop, get out and pull a drone out of the rear, get in the drone and fly that while you still have to return to the same location because that’s where the van is still parked. The idea of a flying car is to be able to leave home in the morning, if traffic is bad simply deploy the wings and propellers, take off and fly to your destination, land, fold in the flight gear and drive the rest of the way to the office or whatever, not leave half of the vehicle behind losing the driving part completely if you have to land somewhere different than where you took off.
It's a van... that holds a helicopter.. not a flying car.. "we ares stuck in traffic time to stop in the middle of the road deploy the helicopter and leave our car here blocking traffic"
The multi-parachute is actually extremely good. A parachute that can land the entire aircraft slowly and even when deployed at less than 50 meters of altitude is impressive.

It seems like people selectively use the word “drone” to disparage passenger drones as if they are just big versions of remote drones. It seems like the issue isn’t that the car doesn’t fly because the company probably isn’t trying to imply that, the issue is that the RUclips channel uses BS clickbait for titles. It’s a truck that a passenger drone docks into… the irony is that omitting the word “passenger” before “drone” makes your comment as misleading as the video title.
"To avoid congestion" Yes lets leave our car in the middle of congestion and fly to our destination which is more than likely congested and does not have a helipad. The only time I see this being used is camping where you can fly around, but with limited charging I doubt thatll be an option

That's without mentioning all FAA regulations and all the people that are already shit at driving the car the already have.
The car compartment has a constant temperature and humidity hangar function, and can charge your airplane battery. After the airplane and car are combined, the batteries of the airplane and car can be combined to supply power to the car's electric motor
this is nice but we need more info of the drone thing.. Like range and speed.. Most of them can fly like 15-20min at 100-120Km/h so you could fly one way before recharging.. Otis T. Carr, an American inventor, founded OTC Enterprises in 1955 with the goal of developing a spacecraft inspired by concepts from Nikola Tesla. He designed a saucer-shaped craft called the OTC-X1, which he claimed could travel to the Moon and back within a day. According to Ring, he and Carr conducted a test flight in which they traveled approximately 10 miles instantaneously.
