Jewel of the Seas: International Crew Flag Parade

On September 21st the Jewel of the Seas enjoyed her only day at sea during an 8 night Pacific Coastal Repositioning cruise from Vancouver to Los Angeles. To fill the time the ships staff put on several events including the International Crew Flag Parade, an event that has become popular on many ships in the fleet. The event is often hosted by the cruise director and involves an introduction of all the nations represented by the ship's staff with several nations taking a moment to put on a littler show and celebrate their nation. Onboard the Jewel of the Seas Captain Thore Thorolvsen even put on a little jig when his home country of Norway was called.
