My father passed away from Lung Cancer in 2009, and my mother has quit smoking permanently. I made a vow to never pick up a cigarette, and I tell my mom everyday how proud of her I am for quitting.

Dad died 2002. He was a tall 6' guy 300 pounds. Started at six. He developed the smokers cough and laughed it off. He's not laughing now. Before he died he bled out of his nose rectum and mouth. He had COPD and was on oxygen for three years before he died. He strunk fro 6' 300 pounds to 5'1 and 89 pounds. He couldn't breathe on oxygen and still wanted to smoke! The addiction is that strong! Why does the govt still let these smoking companies exist?!? I don't get it at all. Don't they know they are selling disease suffering and death? Dad had diabetes COPD strokes emphysema cancer he was a mess. I guess these companies don't care. We all have a choice. Mom smoked with me when pregnant. Always had bad eyes and hay fever. She said she couldn't smoke anymore when she was 4 months along
I was also born with one leg shorter than the other. I didn't know this until I went to a chiropractor when I was in a car wreck. Mom and dad never told me. Please never smoke. I never have and none of my children. Don't give these drug companies the satisfaction of your hard earned money burning up in smoke. Live long enough to dance at your child's wedding. Without the oxygen tank.
