It is a left hand drive vehicle
That being said, even in the US, they will build you a right hand drive one if you want it

    I'll happily buy a Tank 300 for $45-50k, as a fun weekend off-road car.

I bought my new Unlimited Rubicon last year when I heard they’re going to swap the V6 with the 4-cylinder. I wasn’t expecting to buy a new car so soon, but I couldn’t risk being forced to get the 4-cylinder. They’re plagued with issues in the US, whereas the V6 is going 300,000km problem-free according to many reports from owners

@@wapphigh5250 pretty good. I’ve got 15,000km on it now and zero issues. And it’s such a weapon offroad - took it to Fraser Island a couple of weeks ago and the speed it can carry on the inland tracks, without making it uncomfortable for driver and passengers, is insane

In USA, if someone has the 2.0t 4cyl engine, they won’t be able to sell it second hand, not to someone who knows what they doing. The most reliable engine is the v6 3.6l petrol. Used in the wrangler since 2012. I have a gladiator and a wrangler, both rubicons and both in the 3.6l petrol. My brother has the 3.0l diesel, and it has problems. Nothing crazy yet, but it’s definitely not problem free like both mines. Mines both have been completely problem free so far. 25k miles on the gladiator 2020 model and 35k miles on the wrangler 2019 model. Got friends who have 2018 jl wrangler with 80k miles another with the older jk 2014 with 150k miles and both been completely problem free.

So, no more V6! Bye bye to my dream of buying one. What's the point of having a Jeep Wrangler if I can't hear the grumble of a V6? Pairing a Jeep Wrangler with a crappy, flimsy, weak 4-cylinder engine is a big mistake. I expect a drop in sales in Australia because of this poor engine decision

100% and the Tank 300 is far more comfortable to drive on normal roads which is what you need 90% of the time, plus an amazing interior. For $50k it’s a no brainer.

Across the range, in the US, Jeep is notorious for poor reliability and service according to latest figures.

Jeeps aren’t that bad, they are cheap to run and fix compared to say…actually the British people and poor auto reliability are no strangers 😂 do I need to explain?

    • @rustykilt

@@MikesLARE BRITISH vehicles were notorious for reliability, with RANGE ROVER taking the prize. I had a grand cherokee and it was fine until it destroyed its gear box at 12 months. faulty seal. repairs were very expensive. Never again.

The Jeep has many engine choices in the USA. And all that you hear issues are the 4cycl 2.0t engine, the 4xe, and the diesel. The 3.6l v6 engine has been very reliable. It’s been used in the wrangler since 2012, and it’s known to be very reliable.

Jeep are leaving Australia. I have just had a hug customer service issue with Jeep. Purchased a 2022 Jeep Wrangle and while I actually do love the car, the customer service is garbage. Further, with Jeep leaving Australia I am not sure how easy and cheap it will be to get parts/service etc. For the money I am going to sell my Jeep and pick up something more reliable and parts are easily accessible in any part of Australia. Might be paying for best off-road credentials but mine is sitting in the driveway going nowhere and no assistance from Jeep Australia.

waaaay too expensive. and what's next? a 1.3L 3 cylinder ? how do you project a downgrade from a V6 to a 4banger as an "upgrade" :) :) :) you want gas milage? stelantis makes FIATs - get one !!!

The windows switches in the dash is just dumb design. There is no reason they can't be fitted in the doors. There is no need to wind the windows down if the doors are not on the car.

    • @BobbyDazzler888
