I'm assuming that the collar will be glued in place using this method (instead of using the HIT tool to place the insert). Looks like you can still unscrew the broadhead though?
@@torreyintahoe when using hot melt you will want to have the Impact Collar in place and can use hot melt to bond the Impact Collar in place if needed. The field point or broadhead will hold the impact collar in place. Apply hot melt to the HIT insert that is attached to a field point or broadhead and then insert. We recommend installing the HIT attached to the field point or broadhead for the best results.
Can your hot melt be used with just the hitt insert? Having broadheads or field points locked in place without the ability to swap them out (without reheating), seems very limiting.
Is indexing broadheads important for flight? Such as all vertical or all horizontal. Is it important for them all to be the same?
