  • Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) medical program manager and pediatrician Dr. Amber Alayyan describes how children under two years old and pregnant and lactating women in north Gaza are the most vulnerable to malnutrition. A significant issue is that women who cannot access food cannot breastfeed their babies. “Those children need to be breastfed," said Dr. Alayyan. "If they can’t be breastfed, they need to have formula. To have formula, you need clean water. None of these things are possible."

    Nightmare. What can be done to get formula in the north for the newborns ?
