Truth be told where I live at the moment if you want an rtx 3000 series your best option is to buy a pre built. The price for a whole build for example with an rtx 3060ti is slightly higher than just buying a card... it's literally better to buy this type of PC then sell all the other parts and your 3060 ti will be 15%-30% cheaper than if you just bought a card.... this mining boom has destroyed logic.

@@lawlessfpv It chokes on some quads, so I just want to see if six cores is enough to avoid glitches. On old quads Warzone will stutter and throw the packet burst icon frequently, resulting in very hitchy gameplay.
@@griftgfx ok, which professor?? To be fair, I tried on the 3500X which is also a 6 core CPU with a little bit more cache. By the way, there's a config file you can modify that contains a value for worker thread count. People say make it the number of threads your CPU has. :) P.s those kinds of stutters could be internet related perhaps? It happens on certain 4G networks on mine too. Works fine when switching networks.
@@lawlessfpv I played it for longer than I should have on a 2600K, which granted is a VERY OLD processor at this point, but it chokes on Warzone hard. It gets to the point where the GPU load literally drops to 0% for split seconds as it stutters, and that happened frequently. Note that it only affects Warzone. The high player count and map size seem to come into play here. I tried just about every tweak I could find, but what ultimately fixed it was upgrading the CPU.
Kept refreshing the page and bought one when it was the first and last on stock. I bought a HDD and more ram for it because its missing some things but this prebuild is amazing.
Finally came back in stock and I grabbed one. I ordered 16gb dual channel at 3200mhz, and a 512GB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe. I plan on doing your ram and gpu over clock and installing this in my home made arcade cabinet. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Just bought this for $599. The GTX 1650 S costs $499 on Amazon, and as low as $399 in some other places. This is a great deal! Processor is $150+, GPU is $500, ram is $40-50+, etc. Great deal!
just bought one from fb marketplace for $400 in nov. 21. So far so good. I really wanted to build my own pc, but im in the US and the shortages/ supply issues made it so everything was either out of stock or astronomically overpriced. To build a similar machine it would cost at least $1000 and take a few weeks/ month to get all the components. The pc market is nutty now a days.
What makes this little PC even better is that it actually has a b550 mobo and a 400 W Platinum efficiency psu. So, you could definitely upgrade the cpu (best to stay 65w though) and probably get away with a small form factor RTX 3060 when they finally become available. - It's great to see HP actually allowing for some kind of upgrade path here. I have a 2017 i5-7400/1060 3gb model w/a 300w psu. And, because Intel no upgrade path beyond an i7-7700.
hey man do you have the exact link for the motherboard used in this computer? there are a lot of different B550 motherboard varrients. i can't figure out what model it is
@@julianpoolian1362 I do not. But, with a little research you should be able to find out. Just get the PC's serial number and work from there. That's what I've done in the past.
Just wanna tell ya'll... Bios is locked so if you buy ram to upgrade this pc you'll need ryzen master in order to get the base speeds on that ram (RIP to people who bought the Intel version of this PC) and on top of that you can only put in HP PSU's nothing else will fit because of the case. AND ON TOP OF THAT, if you decide to get a new case good luck because the motherboard is custom so it won't fit correctly in around 90 precent of cases you buy.... SOOOOOO you'll then infact need to buy a new motherboard. After buying the case and motherboard you'll then need to buy a new psu because that little small one isnt gonna fit and is only 400 watts so if you choose to upgrade that good'ol gpu... youre gonna need a little more watts. (It's also a custom PSU meaning it doesn't have that 24 pin connector) So pretty much if you want a cheap pc and want to get into pc gaming go right ahead its perfect. but upgrading takes alot of time and parts. You'd be better off just building one.
got this one for 599$ and upgraded the ram to 2 8gb sticks of gskill ripjaws V and upgraded the cpu cooler. Put an extra fan on the side plus a 1tb drive and this thing runs like a champ.
This is a great price, thanks for showing the components. Walmart is selling a similar looking HP with a 1650 Super for $600. The GTX 1650 Super alone is selling on Amazon for $450. With prices so high right now it's not worth buying a GPU unless you absolutely have to.
Definitely a 16gb upgrade. I’m not sure if the motherboard supports fast ram, so if you are keeping the motherboard, then go for 2 16gb 2666mhz ram sticks.
Just ordered this unit from Walmart and got the last one in stock within five stores of me and I pick it up tomorrow. Can't wait. Paid 599 a little more but it's beans new in the box.
i got a snag on one for shipping , coming in a couple days. they been out of stock for months where i live and i just finally got an order on one. i’m very excited!
Bought this thing at Walmart and threw in my own 16 GB ram, and a 2 gig HDD. I play racing sims like ACC and Iracing and can run it at 2560 and High settings. Also, play a lot of Red Dead 2. Kills it, and I know next to nothing about setting up a pc. I also play in VR and I do have to turn down the settings on that, but other than a few small things it plays anything I have thrown at it so far, and good too. Now, when I bought it I paid 599 with a 3-year warranty added. Maybe I paid too much but I bought it at the beginning of 2001. Good review.
Best video I’ve seen on these hp gaming rigs yet, large variety of games and a lot of information so u really know what kind of performance your getting
I got it for $530 on eBay a couple of months ago and I love it. Upgraded the RAM and SSD and it's more than enough for my needs. When GPU prices aren't insane I may upg1rade the GPU, but honestly I don't even need that for my current use.
I don't know why when these computers comes to my country, the price just doubles up.(sorry I commented before watching. I didn't know that it's refurbished. But still. It's good)

Bought one of these back in early JAN.... hut i paided 599 for mine -.- still a solid emulation machine though. Also use it for retro style games on steam. Replaced heating and rear case fan, and added another fan on that front top vent. Also replaced the ram with two 8gb 3600 sticks and added two HDDs along with its M.2 SSD. Got mine for 325 yesterday. The guy already threw in 16gb of ram and a 1tb ssd. The pc is nice I must say
I really dig the look of this tower!
Just ordered this last night and just now coming across your video 😁 I feel a bit more at ease. Thank you
Where did you find it in stock?

Graphics card available only inside OEM PCs
I mean, if you want the graphics card, it's a great way to get it. Throw in the RAM sticks and the cost really doesn't seem that bad.
I bought this pc 6 days ago, I love it! I don't know a ton about computers but I've always wanted one that would perform well. I had to drive a bit to get it, totally worth it. I'm glad I did some research instead of impulse buying.
I've been wanting to get a gaming pc for a while now. Looks like this is going to be my first gaming pc!
I just ordered online from walmart, should be here tuesday. Also my first gaming pc :)
@@critrcrazy1 How is it
@Platinum Videos I love it! It does everything I want it to and then some. Very happy with my purchase
@@critrcrazy1 I’m assuming that I should just buy it before any second thoughts, is it fit for gaming and or video editing?
@@platinumvideos9810 don't know about editing, but I play ESO, lots of steam games and minecraft and they all do well. Nice to game on high resolution for a change 🙂.
Stellar video! I’d be curious to see some emulation benchmarks, specifically Wii U, Switch, and maybe even Sega Naomi 2 or Sega Lindbergh
It would play them just fine. At least Naomi and Lindbergh. I have a i5 4690k and a gtx 750 and I can run those no problem. Wii U I don't think I can do that well though.
I love you for this, I saw this exact pc but with Intel cpu for $700 but it's out of stock now, I love you!
please do emulator optimization guide with this build like with cemu and ps3 emulators
im definitely buying this pc, its way better then the one i have now!! thank you so much !!!!
A PC like that in Brazil is around BRL 4000 (~800 USD)
Where I am from you'll need about 1-1.2k USD something to nab one so I feel you mate.
@@Piranhas145 Spain 800 euro
It's sick that nowadays you can get a good prebuilt pc for cheaper than buying parts and assembling your own pc.
AY IM KINDA EARLY nice vid even though I haven't watched it but I know it going to be good.
Great video
Out of stock , and where there is stock $300 Plus
Can you try Warzone on PC's like this? It's very demanding game on low thread CPUs.
Yes, I just purchased it so I can put it in.
Trust me, Warzone works perfectly fine on a 6 core cpu like this one. I'll be worried more about the GPU. But you should be fine at medium settings.
P.s those kinds of stutters could be internet related perhaps?
I got this for my son brand new on mercari for the same price last summer.
Can’t even find these anymore at that price.
I got this as a refurb for $425. No dust and it secretly came with a 3600.
I got my refurb a couple weeks ago for the same price and haven't even opened the box yet. Now I'm curious to see if there's a 3600 in there.
In my country, the GTX 1650 S itself currently costs about 2/3 of this prebuilt. It's a crazy deal imo.
Just bought this for $599. The GTX 1650 S costs $499 on Amazon, and as low as $399 in some other places. This is a great deal! Processor is $150+, GPU is $500, ram is $40-50+, etc. Great deal!
@@frostedembercreations7497 Yea It's really good!
just bought one from fb marketplace for $400 in nov. 21. So far so good. I really wanted to build my own pc, but im in the US and the shortages/ supply issues made it so everything was either out of stock or astronomically overpriced. To build a similar machine it would cost at least $1000 and take a few weeks/ month to get all the components. The pc market is nutty now a days.
Can we talk abt how it uses the same cooler and only slightly modified case as an office pc that hp also sells
What makes this little PC even better is that it actually has a b550 mobo and a 400 W Platinum efficiency psu.
So, you could definitely upgrade the cpu (best to stay 65w though) and probably get away with a small form factor RTX 3060 when they finally become available.
-
It's great to see HP actually allowing for some kind of upgrade path here.
I got a pre-built with a ryzen 5 2600x and a gtx 1650 for 400 euros new on Amazon half a year ago. Pretty good deal I think
that cpu can handle upto rtx4090
@@sharathvasudev ahh yes the 4090
I'm buying ryzen 5 4600g + gtx 1650 for 430€ it's used but been only like a week in use so it's like new :p
@@topisalonen8813 that's a really good deal in this time. Have fun with your pc!
I will sir thanks. 😊👍 Has your pc been working good?
OUT OF STOCK BABY
got this one for 599$ and upgraded the ram to 2 8gb sticks of gskill ripjaws V and upgraded the cpu cooler. Put an extra fan on the side plus a 1tb drive and this thing runs like a champ.
Link the cooler sir?
Link everything lol
This entire pc is literally cheaper than the majority of 3060 and 3060TI cards on the market.
Yeah honestly it makes zero sense to buy GPUs at that price
This is a great price, thanks for showing the components. Walmart is selling a similar looking HP with a 1650 Super for $600. The GTX 1650 Super alone is selling on Amazon for $450. With prices so high right now it's not worth buying a GPU unless you absolutely have to.
How does this computer do with Virtual Desktop and running a game through that like Population:One?
Due diligence and patience of 6 months paid off...Finally found one for $300 at Wal-Mart. Score considering the ridiculousness of GPUs right now!
Bro emulation test!

@@ETAPRIME nice
this'll run RPCS3 fine I bet
I want to see this as well. I wonder how it’ll perform compared to the 4700g he reviewed a few weeks back.
still can’t get over the fact I have this same pc right now.
What memory upgrades would you recommend on this pc?
Definitely a 16gb upgrade. I’m not sure if the motherboard supports fast ram, so if you are keeping the motherboard, then go for 2 16gb 2666mhz ram sticks.
Just ordered this unit from Walmart and got the last one in stock within five stores of me and I pick it up tomorrow. Can't wait. Paid 599 a little more but it's beans new in the box.
i got a snag on one for shipping , coming in a couple days. they been out of stock for months where i live and i just finally got an order on one. i’m very excited!
GPU alone is going for $400. 😅🙌🏽
Just bought one of these with an i5 and a 2060 super can’t wait till it gets here
Was looking at this oc on Amazon but has an i3 with a boost to 4.3mhz for 600
Bought this thing at Walmart and threw in my own 16 GB ram, and a 2 gig HDD.
But the question nobody ever answers when I ask, Can it edit 4K?
It should but idk
I was looking on RUclips for the best cheap pre-built PCS and I happen to stubble upon this one definitely going to get this
Usually Hp deals are great for mid gaming!
Best video I’ve seen on these hp gaming rigs yet, large variety of games and a lot of information so u really know what kind of performance your getting

Check your local Walmart’s... they have these for $600
I got it for $530 on eBay a couple of months ago and I love it.
But still. It's good)
Taxes and shipping
I won't lie in been on the fence of buying this as my intro to the PC world on a budget and your video was that push I needed. Can't wait to see the emulation potential. By any chance do you have a video or know a video that teaches how we can overclock the GPU/CPU
Me: why r the graphics so bad?
Also me: oh yh my crappy laptop
Bought one of these back in early JAN.... hut i paided 599 for mine -.- still a solid emulation machine though. Also use it for retro style games on steam. Replaced heating and rear case fan, and added another fan on that front top vent. Also replaced the ram with two 8gb 3600 sticks and added two HDDs along with its M.2 SSD.
The 1650 Super overclocks like a beast, and I have the Ryzen 3500 clocked at 4.2
Over here just a 1650 super goes for 500 (used btw)
I was seeing used for $300-$350, and new for about $499
This needs to be updated. They are out not only that, these guys prices are as insane as everyone else.
