@@TheEnnyG For n64 and psp any settings will work for ps1 it depends on the game for example games like Tekken 3 and Sparrow will stutter a little when you put a higher resolution. On ps2 don't intend to play Gta games even tho they are playable you are better off pirating, or buying the Gta games and putting some graphics mods but anyway you could play Sports games fairly well at 4k. Gamecube games arent very demanding and you can run them at whatever resolution,I can say this because Ive emulated gamecube games with a ryzen 3300u vega 6 graphics. For ps3 your cpu usage will go to 100% on the normal resolution so don't intend to play ps3 at 4k and for Xbox 360 you could expect worse gameplay than ps3 because a rtx 3070 could only get up to 30fps.
I know you've done Plex playback tests on several hardware reviews, and I'm sure that makes sense for the lower end stuff, but I've love to see a Plex server transcode test when you do hardware where it could feasibly be a good setup for it. You could benchmark at 720p, 1080p, 4K, and 4K HDR. I'd test playback from an Android device, Windows browser, and a streaming device like Roku Ultra or Fire TV 4K.

I lucked out at the end of 2019 when walmart put their leftover black friday $729 HP gaming system on clearance for $499. It's an I5-9400F 4.1Ghz Turbo with 8 gig DDR4 a 240Gig NVME and a 1660 TI video card. Best deal I ever came across since 1660 TI's were selling for around $300 at the time and even just being 6 cores and 6 threads it runs everything i throw at it including near flawless wireless VR. Last night I stayed up till 3:30am just to play the NES version of Action52 running on a Retroarch NES emulator, running on the MEmu Android emulator running on windows 10, just because it sounded fun to do it that way. That's just my long winded way of saying those cheap HP gaming systems at under $500 can run just about anything great.
I can't believe what I'm seeing! I didn't think majority of gamecube, Wii and PS 2 games would work at all! I would definitely purchased this if it came complete with all the Retro games from past consoles and games from gamecube, Wii, and 3DS!!!! I need this!!!!
Me too, then again i think i got it at msrp. Got this for $599 from Walmart. Even at that price, it's a steal considering how expensive it'd be to build it from scratch.

@@chrst6495 my advice would be to check if it's in stock with a physical walmart location near you, since that might work better for you. I would like to get a GPU for. I know I'll have to go with an older unit but I don't even know where to start. I have no idea what models will work in mine since it's a smaller chassis. Nah it isn't that important, in emulation is the CPU the one who does the heavy lifting, you can go for a rx570 or less and still have a good experience
Great system. It's a pleasant surprise to see HP using high-quality parts in such a cheap PC. That OEM PSU has an 80 Plus Platinum efficiency rating. My home server has similar specs but with an Intel CPU and more memory.
One, the Switch emulator is Yuzu, two, please don't promote it, use RyujiNX. Yuzu steals code from RNX and tweaks it, RNX has a lot more games playable than Yuzu, plus it has a Multiplayer branch, LDN, that is closed so Yuzu cannot steal it
This is awesome. Thanks ETA Prime. Would be really cool if you can make a video seeing how well this handles video editing for RUclips videos? I know 8GB RAM is low, but I am thinking if its 16GB, you think it could be used to edit 1080p videos in like Adobe Premiere Pro? Thanks!
i paid $600 for the same pc from walmart, but new, not refurbished. Just slapped a 16GB stick of DDR4 in it and a 120GB SSD i had sitting around. So more like $700 invested, but i think I'm set for a couple years, since i don't game that much. For my needs, this thing is high end

@@TheEnnyG i gotchu u bro whatchu u need to know?
@@sookiieee just wanna know the best settings for n64 ps1 ps2 gcube and dreamcast so they run smooth as possible
@@GigaChadCouncil do you have any idea for locking the games on 60 fps on pcsx2 emulator
Nice videos watching all the way from Barbados
For God's sake, get another strip of ram to run it in dual channel.
Coming from the future. This PC costs $770 in 2022. 😭😭😭
I bought my Intel version last year and absolutely love it.
They just restocked as of writing this comment, get it while you can!
Nope. Out of stock.
Purchased it with a 10% discount from their website (3-10-21), $447.19 with tax and I just received a confirmation email that it shipped (today/same day).
@@williamsmith9181 did you get it?

@@williamsmith9181 Nice.
Action52 You must like pain?
Need those CEMU BotW settings. I’m getting nowhere near that performance at 720p.
IM GETTING 1440P
Found one of these on sale second hand for 400 bucks last December, it's surprisingly good indeed.
Gamecube is mistyped in the description as gamecude
With how well it runs on this thing, it might as well be called 'Gamecute'.
So was yuzu he had yuza
Might be to avoid the long hand of nintendo's censorship
Seeing BotW at 60fps never ceases to impress me. It's just so glorious. I wish the bugs would be fixed, though. :(
I bought this pc just waiting on it😊
hey man i bought this pc 2 months ago and its running great! awesome for emulation!
Can't wait to pay the ETA Prime tax
Awesome video! Something I caught though is that you misspelled GameCube in the video description.
Will you please test persona 5 for the ps3 emulator?
It will run it at 60fps 1080 no problem
You can run it in 4K no problem
That's one of the easiest games to emulate on rpcs3
I can't believe what I'm seeing! I didn't think majority of gamecube, Wii and PS 2 games would work at all! I would definitely purchased this if it came complete with all the Retro games from past consoles and games from gamecube, Wii, and 3DS!!!! I need this!!!!
Glad I bought it before he even made a video on it.
Me too, then again i think i got it at msrp. Got this for $599 from Walmart. Even at that price, it's a steal considering how expensive it'd be to build it from scratch.
Im so mad bc ive been saving up to get this before people where making video then someone made a video then the prices went up and there out of stock :(
@@chrst6495 yea, that's the problem with any kinda video like this
@@chrst6495 my advice would be to check if it's in stock with a physical walmart location near you, since that might work better for you. Buying it online, even when it's in stock nearby, doesn't mean they'll deliver it from the store. So you might be able to still snag one in store. (Then again, it'll also be at msrp, not the price in this video lol)
That's unbelievable , thanks for the video
i picked up an old series 3 i7 hp desktop for $60, its now cranking 16gb ram and a 1050ti 4gb. It is actually a beast for the $250-$300 i have paid
Bought this in January before things got astronomically bad and before RUclips got ahold of it. Couldn't be happier with it while waiting for the 3000 series cards to lower in price
Thats the specs i need to run yuzu. Ill probably buy this 😍
Did you get it
@@2NDSEATEROFMOTHORCOUNCIL I upgraded, but I got 5600x instead. But I lack GPU since you know 😑... I have an old GTX 760. Is running yuzu great here even though
I'm waiting for mine 447$ thanks for doing all these videos keep up the good work!!! 👌
Every ps2 test should include Shadow of the Colossus.
Bro I appreciate all these reviews you do!
You've inspired me to turn my Rasp 4 into a retro emulator. Now, I'm wanting to upgrade my Dell OptiPlex 780. It's a unit that lays horizontally. I would like to get a GPU for. I know I'll have to go with an older unit but I don't even know where to start. I have no idea what models will work in mine since it's a smaller chassis.
Could you please help me?
I would like to buy a nicer comp but I'm recovering from 4th back surgery in 3.5 years. This last one was in August 2020. I'm have to just sit on the couch with 12 screws in my spine and 2, 9 inch rods on each side.
Thank you so much ETA Prime!!!!
Now its gonna turn $1000 and out of stock!

@@Nokl03 Good deal!
@Kommissar Still alot
It just happened too, like wow wtf,I wanted a pc now I gotta wait again for a decent pc that can run all games at 60fps constantly in 1080p and at least mid to sometimes high res on some games that don't require much power to run
I know in the past you've said " Arcade1up are toys and you don't wanna put too much money into them" but for me it's more then just a toy..
Can you please do a tutorial/ tips and tricks installing one of these HP into a arcade1up cabinet?? Please 🙏
My question is, HOW are your temps so good, especially that GPU with that limited breathing room??
Temps where up above. My temps were high 70s to 80 with rpcs3
Outstanding performance for the cost.
1650 super is the best emulation graphics card for the price hands down
Under normal circumstances you should pay a little more for the 1660 Super. It’s better for modern games.
you could probably get a better card for much less if you buy secondhand though
Nah it isn't that important, in emulation is the CPU the one who does the heavy lifting, you can go for a rx570 or less and still have a good experience
Great system. It's a pleasant surprise to see HP using high-quality parts in such a cheap PC. That OEM PSU has an 80 Plus Platinum efficiency rating.
My home server has similar specs but with an Intel CPU and more memory.
Who here would rather have this instead of a Series X cause it can do emulation and games good? Im curious thumbs up if you would.
I have this with 32 GB of RAM and I would rather have a Series X.
@@zeroturn7091 why would you use 32 gb of ram? lol
I can allocate 8 GB to each Virtual Machine.
@@zeroturn7091 what kind of VM's are you running?
@@kyles8524 OSX, Ubuntu, DSM, and Windows 7 out of Virtual Box.
Looks like im getting rid of series x to look for one of these and ditch my 4tb shield build too this looks amazing
Series x emulation is superb on Developers mode. If you can get Retroarch to run your games/roms. Very time consuming, but worth it
One, the Switch emulator is Yuzu, two, please don't promote it, use RyujiNX. Yuzu steals code from RNX and tweaks it, RNX has a lot more games playable than Yuzu, plus it has a Multiplayer branch, LDN, that is closed so Yuzu cannot steal it
And also you should test Xemu too alongside CXBX, the first one is a high level emu and has a few more playable games like Ninja Gaiden
Thanks!
I was ready to buy this as soon as the video came out but it was sold out T_T
Thank you so much for this video 👍🏻👌🏻✌🏻

i paid $600 for the same pc from walmart, but new, not refurbished. Just slapped a 16GB stick of DDR4 in it and a 120GB SSD i had sitting around. So more like $700 invested, but i think I'm set for a couple years, since i don't game that much. For my needs, this thing is high end
