Some additional context to a few lines of the last clip: the "kid" sensei talks about is the main character (us lol) who, for safety reasons, is staying at Hifumi and Doppo's house (during the day) and sensei's house (during the night). Since Hifumi got hurt on his dominant hand's arm, he asks main character to take care of the cooking and provides him with recipes.

I intended to do this after I finished the current event story I'm translating, but last anime's episode upset me greatly so I just needed to go back to the comfort of ARB's main scenario and put this out into the world.
