George O'Hanlon complained of a headache and was taken to Saint Joseph's Hospital in Burbank, California where he died of a second stroke According to Andrea Romano, who was Hanna-Barbera's casting director at the time, O'Hanlon found it difficult to read and hear, and in the end, he died doing what he loved. George O'Hanlon had recorded all of his dialogue for George Jetson. George O'Hanlon was practically blind and had very little short term memory. He had to have each line spoken to him so he could repeat it back.
The film had a budget of $8 million (plus $12 million for prints and advertising) and disappointed at the box office, grossing $20.3 million in the United States.

One of the very first movies I ever saw in a theater. That last song is just so good (surprisingly so considering it's Tiffany).

Yep I can’t see that scene to this day without crying. I think this was the first time a movie got me to cry as a child.
I Also remember one clip where he (George) said: "You did! DIDN'T YOU?!" in complete anger
My dad's name is George and I... dammit I just want one more day one second just to tell him "Thanks dad I really like this world"
