Omg I think I’m gonna cry. That is the nicest thing I’ve heard 😭 and it’s a huge compliment. This makes me want to keep making videos which aren’t always my favorite part 😂 thank you so much - wow
@@Mollybeepottery no problem! I genuinely meant my comment. I have come across many many insta ceramic pages and they don’t compare to yours! Also the fact that you’re kind enough to share the combos! Most people won’t do so. Please keep the videos coming 🙏🙏
Thanks for sharing your techniques! Those mugs are simply divine! I have some bisque ware just waiting to try this but have to order some of that spectrum soft white. I just might give it a go first without it. Thank you again and really appreciate you going through the effort of making videos. 🌄 Have a magical day! Just subbed!!!
@@cpnotill9264 omg thank you 🙏 for the love and appreciation 🙌♥️ it makes it so worthwhile to keep making vids and sharing!! You can get some good results without the soft white too…just add a heavy line of light flux on the rim 🥰
Thank you so much!!! Wow the love on here is really filling me up tonight. Just as I was feeling kind of blah. You made me smile. I appreciate you. Thank you!
Wow!! I LOVE these so much!! I love how you made the mr and Mrs! I don’t have the spectrum or the Laguna glaze. I know I’ve said this before but dang it I neeeed that power turquoise! As soon as it’s warm enough to order glaze again I’ll be grabbing myself some. Great video.
I love your user name Miller Mommy. My last name is miller 😘 not sure what you mean but no never have a problem with oils from my hands. Everything basically burns off in the kiln firing. I think the only time oils from your hands would be any issue is if you are burnishing clay and it’s left raw as a finished piece.
@The Happy Homestead NH thank you!!! My "baby" helped me set up my usernname! Right thanks for the response!!! That was my feelings too, but let me explain a bit more. One time, we had some misfiring happen on the glaze fire. There were some pieces where the glaze had "falled off" and my husband reasons, it was the oils from our hands. Even tho, we wash and we aren't greasy people 😂 He wears gloves to glaze now and I do sometimes and don't sometimes...i think what happened to us was a fluke and we were very new at the time, so idk what happened. So if there was an oily thumbprint, it might be enough to keep the glaze from adhering to the pieces, similar to wax resist. I'm glad you've not had any problems. I realize I didn't say how beautiful your mugs are!!! 💙🩵💙🩵💙
Aw thank you so much!!! I love this message ❤️ cone 6 but my kiln was not firing correctly so I’ve been getting 5.5 lately. I use bmix, speckled buff by Laguna, sio2 black clay and standard 266 dark brown 🤩
Beautiful! Major props to anyone who paints on their glazes! It looks great! I just don't have the patience. Lol. Random question. What video editing software do you use?
Hahaha painting it on is slightly torturous 😂 I might go back to some dipping glazes soon! At least for the insides of mugs 😂 I use an app called invideo (Filmr). Took me a little bit to figure out but way easier than others!
Thanks for your great videos. I can't get Spectrum soft white where I live, but I do use pearl white. I've seen you use it a few times. I slow cool and get zero bubbles with my Amaco and Mayco glazes but struggle with Spectrum. Have you any suggestions for me?
Aw thank you! I order all my spectrum glazes online…are you in the US? Hmmmmm …what clay are you using? I bet you could substitute the pearl white instead of soft white if you wanted to try this glaze combo! I love love love amaco glazes on top of the pearl white. Like blue rutile, seaweed…any amaco glaze u could try! I use pearl white as a base for layering quite a bit. Love that glaze but it does run like crazy lol
Update. I emailed my Spectrum supplier and, come to find out, the soft white was mislabeled on their website. I've got a couple pints coming this week. I hope I have results as nice as yours!
I have to say, I saw the orange and thought, oh no, not orange!?! Damn you and your trickery - IT CAME OUT GORGEOUS!!! You need a label that reads, * I'm a professional. Don't try this at home! Amazing work, Molly!
That combination is gorgeous. Applying all the glazes takes extra work but so worth it. Thank you for doing your videos. I really appreciate it!
Thank you! Yes definitely more work but soooooo worth it! 🥰
I swear your glaze combos from your creations are the best compared to all the other channels or instagram potters i have come across.

Thank you!!! Yea it’s a tricky glaze with running! I always use it now at the top of a piece just in case! Or with snow at the bottom 😘

Also, I have gotten bubbles w few times and I sanded them down, added a tad more glaze then re fired the piece and it worked!
Thanks! I'm American but have lived in New Zealand for 21years. You have to learn to live with what you can get when you live outside the US.
