I started using them for about 3-4 months now. I have noticed some changes with my hair like thinning and just recently dandruff. I’ve never had dandruff ever. I started googling to see if it others might have had the same issue. Or maybe it could have been something else. That’s when I found your video and by reading the comments I now see I am not alone. I will not be using this product anymore.

I haven’t tried their products that’s how I found your video 😀 just a tip. Any time us natural hair girls are wanting to gain retention it is very important to get your end’s trimmed every 12 weeks. If you do this and deep condition once every week or 2 weeks you will see hair growth and your hair will be very healthy. Also, be careful with straightening and if you have to straighten to get your ends trimmed just be sure to do a protein conditioner and sit under the dryer with a shower cap on from 15-30 minutes. This will put the moisture back into your hair. Good luck!🥰

Hi all, I notice when individuals mention that they might suffer from bad dandruff that it could be actually be something else. I visited with a dermatologist several years ago and I was diagnosed with scalp seborrheic psoriasis which is over growth of skin follicles that turns into itchy patches. What makes it worse is oil.. It’s a breeding ground. Charcoal shampoo and ACV has helped me a great deal. I am not a Dermatologist and I’m only sharing. Each case is diff but it can’t hurt to just check it out! But great video. I’m so nervous about investing in B&L products due horror stories.

Buy Medicated T-Gel shampoo and conditioner. This shampoo worked amazingly at allowing my infected and inflamed scalp to completely heal from the inside out. I swear by this brand. Don't put anything on your scalp or hair until your scalp heals up completely, because the hair products will only worsen the Seborrheic Dermatitis. My scalp was so inflamed that green infection was oozing out of my scalp and was crusty. It took around an entire year of only shampooing my hair with this one shampoo and not using any hair products but my scalp was in healthy condition.

Thank you for posting, really informative. I have tried the product for maybe 3 weeks and I have seen a huge difference and without cutting my ends. I will cut them soon but not now ;) …As you mentioned, everyones process is different, I’m a chronic hair washer but what we both had in common is, I feel like I have much more dandruff and itchiness. I thought it was just my scalp rejuvenating itself from the years of not doing anything to it. Either way thanks again for the info.

Maybe your ends are breaking as your new growth is coming in?One trick you can try is corn rowing for several weeks and then measuring your new growth. That way you can measure your new growth. I think the problem is the rosemary and peppermint oil. From the mielle controversy I've been doing research. Rosemary and peppermint are strong oils and shouldn't be used too often or in certain quantities, especially with black hair. I just bought the bask and lather kit but so happy I saw this video before putting it in my hair. It's giving the mielle scandal part 2.

The shampoo and conditioner dried out and tangled my relaxed hair. I had to rewash and recondition my hair. The stimulating oil, the elixir, and the balm work really well for my hair. You have to wash your hair more often than most people. I have the same problem and you have to really invest in great hair care products, and also deep condition with avocado, peanut butter, mayonnaise, and put some coffee in it. You are indigenous you have to use natural home remedies as well. I hate having to wash my hair every three days so I wash it once a week and I barely make it. When I was your age definitely by the third day if I didn’t wash my hair, I would get breakouts. You are a black girl remember that.

I’ve also started looking into natural remedies and recipes that I can make at home to try out on my hair and make my own product!! I think I said this in the last comment I replied to, but I’m definitely going to head back to the dermatologist in the next couple months for another check up/ second opinion just in case. Thanks so much!!!
