thought you'd add Ahyeon for the good belted A4 part Lmaoo
btw is there anyone in kpop who can support a belted G5 ???
Sohyang, bigmama's Lee younghyun

Please answer.. isn't the C note the highest in vocals????
That’s not really how it works
There is no highest note in theory since there are frequencies that the human ear cannot comprehend.
Oh.. thanks.. Because I read the article where it says that C is the highest note, so I concluded that if singers can reach C it means their vocal tone is the best
The highest note is a whistle note. If u want to listen to the highest whistle note try search Dimash Kudaibergen highest whistle note u will be amaze. Although whistle note isn't everything in singing.
What about Jung Wheein? Just asking please do not be upset!@@CreganStark123

While many of these singers are pretty good, none, I repeat, none of them comes close to the Queen of Korean belters, the incredible Kim So-hyang.
Honestly kpop never focused on vocals.. it was always visuals and decent dancing.. kpop idols who are also good singers are rare to find. I only listen to yuju in kpop because i cant stan untalented people being hyped so much while real talent gets ignored. Grave injustice in this world
Yeah but dancing and visuals are what make K-pop so good
vocals are almost literally 100% of their music with a few raps 😅 dancing has never been the main focus which only shifted when 4th gen happens and the industry gave us more lackluster vocalists as a trade off
@@cutiieeepatootieee2002 it’s dancing…. Vocals come second
@@Teddymonstervocals101 lol, i've been a kpop fan for 10 yrs. lemme tell u that vocals has always been the first priority back then. that's why idols are criticize for their lives because groups back then even the subvocals aren't as attacked as current idols. right now, 4th gen idols are better trained in dancing that's why the level of current idols in dancing is much better. the decline on good vocals tho is a bit tragic
@@cutiieeepatootieee2002 yeah it’s tragic I guess but it’s not like any of them were the best Mariah Carey K-pop still is pretty decent
No Wendy?
Come on now.
Wendy isn't really a belter , even if she's included her belting isn't really considered as "good" by the standard.
Notice how she was drowned by literally all of these belters even at A4 in the link;

@@YEOUN_channel Isn't really a belter? She destroys anybody featured in this video.
I find the fact that you *don't* feature her anywhere in this video despite the fact that she is generally considered the best female vocalist out of the entire 3rd and 4th gen of Kpop highly suspect.

Yes isn't really a belter...We all know she's your fav but let's put all the biasing away okay. You gonna tell me that this Wendy's whiny and tight B4 ruclips.net/user/clipUgkx7UqlnKp_AdcUR0ZDKQYB9MVzFknzAbsv?si=939PK2IykE8qFjOG ate that Micless resonant B4 by Ailee in 2:41 ?
@@riffgroove Lets be real, though she is by no means a really weak belter. She ain't beating the likes of Haeri, Son Seungyeon, Eunji, etc 💀
@@YEOUN_channeldon't bother, I've seen this person discrediting jyp vocalists even ones that are good enough especially Jihyo and also goes around acting like Wendy is the next Sohyang (Wendy is very good but come on lol) when this person knows nothing about Wendy's technique, the fact that they went here acting like Wendy is a superb belter lol
Putting Bora D5 in "bad belting" category is a little bit unfair, she was pretty decent plus from all those clips she's the only one who was dancing while singing...
Shortcut to Eunji, Haeri Taeyeon etc slaying the climax after a heavy vocal performance… Bora’s D5 would be in the same condition wether she’s dancing or not, and it is bad belting in ours standards. I’ve seen yours are a bit different😅
Bora is ridiculously overrated in the vocal category. Putting her above Chaehyun was ludicrous!
@@frooogust Right, what's more ludicrous is calling Bora the best vocalist in GP999 when she's like at best, top 5,and the girlies beneath Chaehyun are mostly w to a girlied
I love Bora with all my heart but I have to admit that she struggles a lot with consistency and for a main vocalist her technique is very underdeveloped. I’d say in Cherry Bullet Haeyoon is arguably the better vocalist technique wise since Bora tends to strain a lot, but this is just my opinion
Is it me or did Rora’s C5 not sound too bad?
Her level and C5s are very far off 🌚
@@xxxAeRosexxx what do you mean by that? She is in tune from what I can hear
@@user-tw1zv8ki9q
The OP above wasn't saying that she was off tune or pitchy.
What they meant was that for someone on Rora's level , they can't really handle C5s that well to pass the "good" belting. And in fact that C5 was poorly belted , it sounds very pushed and yelled.
@@YEOUN_channel oh that makes sense. Looking back the beginning part doesn’t seem that good. Hoping YG continues to train them vocally because Rora in particular has potential
@@user-tw1zv8ki9q Rora and Haram have potential tbh, I wish they're trained more
Rora is a vocalist who cannot be underestimated. with a very young age
She have potential but she need to hire a coach outside of yge like minzy did and she will improve
there are plenty of vocalists who debuted at very young ages and were still well developed technically (ex. the 15& girls, taeyeon, luna, ningning)
He just needs to practice harder. I'm sure her vocals will be good when she grows up
yes.. I hope Rora will shine as her name suggests. Because in Baemon only his vocals are what attracted me. Her deep voice makes me sink as she sings
