Yes, a panoramic vista roof is available on the SE and up and smartphone integration is standard on SE and up. 8-speed automatic transmission

Don't understand why they had to get rid of the power outlet in the armrest console. Big problem for me who works from my car and runs a power converter from there.

W got one. Love it but man them 2.0 Engines with hood open make a lot of noise. Anyone else find it the same?
Very nice review overall. The young lady was very knowledgeable about all the cars equipment and tech. Very helpful. She was obviously also very experienced being in front of the camera and well spoken. Impressive. The only criticism or disappointment I had with the review was the test drive, which is the part of the review I am most interested in. I want to know what she thought of the power and acceleration of the 2.0 engine. How does it corner? How was the ride? Smooth, Bumpy? Was it a quiet ride or was their pronounced engine noise, tire thrum or wind noise? Steering and handling? These things are more important to me and many drivers then every "bell and whistle" inside the car. But for the areas you covered, you did a great job. Had the test drive been longer and more informative, it would have been an A+ review IMO.
Ford note the blue "hands" on the dials never look good and old Kuga displays did not dim down enough at night..too much glare from instruments. How about the new Kuga?

Do you test the brakes and wind sound?
We've never had a problem with the brakes seeing as this is a new vehicle. As far as road noise, the Escape was pretty quiet!

Its awful. Had one as a rental today. Very dissatisfied with it. Cheap, hard plastic door cards, fit and finish not very nice, and a rattle in the pano roof.

Doesn't have hard plastic interior. It's soft touch. Maybe you drove the base model of it? This is the SEL.

I have a 2005 Ford Escape xlt with 194,681mi, no major issues at all runs like it is brand new. Power level is still at its peak and all frame and suspension components are still in great shape.
