there’s a difference between repairing gpu’s for money and getting money for repairing gpu’s. this man is in it for the repairs. the dedication to your fixes is inspiring.
I don't know if I agree. But whether what you said is true or not, it is his skill and his stubbornness that made it looks like he is passionate about his work. He is doing things nobody else want to do because how risky and how tedicious it is. I find myself tired just following him through speed up video. Really baffling how he is so consistent on his repair despite pulling off trick shots left and right.
I am in for it for both. I love doing it and this is my job now.
@@EkaMei There you go his answer.
@@northwestrepairI hope you do great!
Better than the previous job, but as you now depend on yourself.. maybe go for fast lucrative fixes?
@@northwestrepairCongratulations! I am repair guy also i repair iphones, and i was trying to find someone who does cards and finally this channel is something which i was searching for. I’m live in poor country so one gpu repair per day and i can live from this.
You are insane. Most techs wouldn't even attempt this repair. Impressive job my guy!
You're right! I went through 5 different groups until I found northwest repair. I was so thankful it got fixed. Asus wanted to charge me $2000+ to repair.
Is it yours??
I love how you still have fun with Alex saying your repairs are a waste of time. As long as you enjoy what you're doing and its paying your bills!
..its the difference between doing it because u have to and becuse u love to...
👆 that
Who's Alex?
@@ShirOwOkun who?
Alex = northridgefix I'm assuming another tech repair guy
This video is a gem. From the polar bears to the spinning GPU gangster, a graphics card repair job couldn't possibly be more entertaining. Holy heck
Agreed
"The emotional pain having to remove all that work is insufarable"
Dude you need a hug.
"NOT PRACTICAL" had me chuckling! 😂 Amazing work as always!
That was his last comment fixing 3090 i think.
@@northwestrepair just send you the card and charge em double 😮😮😮
@@northwestrepairthat's right, he should have sent you the card 😂
this guy is northridge on steroids!
my new favorite repair channel to watch
Northridge “not practical” meme had me cracking up 😂🤣😂
I love how hard you fight to repair a GPU. A lot of other technicians would’ve gave up. Great job. Keep it up.
Man, I saw Alex from the other channel attempting fixing a dead GPU and failing at it twice and saying it's "NON PRACTICAL!" to fix a core... 😂 Everyone in his comments were praising him for it though, but here we withness true miracles being done and still seeing Tony having fun while doing so like if it were child's play.
Alex is a jack of all traits while Tony is... some would say, a one trick pony. They are terribly wrong though, he is a true GPU gangster.
Your like the terminator.. never gives up and never gives in, just keeps going until the mission is complete, well done!
Wow... just wow... I would have thrown that GPU out the window after Dig #2 :)) I am amazed at how much patience you had with it. Respect!
PS: I am really happy to see your channel grow and I hope it grows a LOT more! I've been a sub since you were doing this as a hobby and with each video you keep on surprising me! Triple Respect!
This is next level stuff 😅
Tony in all seriousness one of the great injustices in this world is that no company has yet offered to hire you with a six-figure salary. You deserve it man.
i dont know man
@@northwestrepair well i hope your channel becomes so big it earns you 6 figures every week , great work man keep it up
This kinda skills gotta be 7 figures. I think itd make a lot of sense to do this much work for them near tens of thousands of dollars workstation gpu vs gaming cards tbh
You guys are missing the point. Why would give him 6 figures or 7 salary when all they want is to sell more GPUs with bad design, untested, with thin and poor quality PCB ready to be twisted under the heat etc. They don't want fixing they want to SELL. The "green" soldering wire with no lead helps a lot, even polar bears are giggling.
@@pete4888 yeah thats obvious my takes is if this happens at all with much more expensive workstation cards companies that rely on them could probably pay him closer to what his insane skills are worth
This repair is insane! When I saw all those ripped pads under the core I thought, that card is done, but you fix it anyway, amazing
You saved some polar bears, therefore it is not "NOT PRACTICAL".. Good job sir!
GPU GURU strikes again, amazing work, amazing skills, your videos are the best...
Just one of your devoted subs 😇
Greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹
Man you are literally AMAZING! I love watching these vids you post. I hate watching the “other guy” now , he’s only in it for the quick big cash. Your like me , you love to see things fixed because they have value. I’m in my early 50s as a long time machinist , but I have had a love of staring at circuit boards since I was an early teen , always wanted to know what made everything work. I never pursued it but it’s always a fascination of mine . Thanks for doing what you do and I hope you make a great living at it.
Love your work brother! Very inspirational and reminds me just how incredible our technology is today. (synthwave goes well with tech repair)
Your perseverance and work ethic is admirable. Plus it teaches us all. Not to say that I'm ever going to repair these. As I don't have time But still very cool to watch.
This is my sacrifice to the algorithm.
Love your videos. Keep up the good work.
You’re the master of repairing, i wanna break in 2 my gpu, just to send it you and watch the satisfying video of repairing after :)
I respect this dude, your are a true repairman. "others" and you know who would deem this not fixable long time ago.
I've watched quite a few of your videos over quite some time now, and it's fair to say you take on some absolutely insane repairs, and then you do the video with such detail, I myself, and I think I can speak for many of your viewers, we are in awe at what you manage to fix and your method of fixing them... Please keep this up, it's pronominal!
The level of patient you have is incredible
Incredible repair! Impressive video editing skills! One of the best repair channels out there.
That was tons of work! Great job
Yes it was!
I think if I ever do another PC build I am going to mount the GPU horizontally with an extender card.
Watching from Perth, Australia. Fascinating work.
You're a true master of your craft. Amazing repair!
mad respect for your passion / job.
Good work! You got a new sub
Wow, watching that GPU repair video was incredibly fascinating! The precision and attention to detail that the person demonstrated was truly amazing! I am in awe of their expertise and skill in fixing such an intricate piece of hardware.
Love your work man! Watched all of your videos twice and still watching 3rd 4th time. Your passion for gpu cards is unbelievable!
We can save planet and resources by Repairing Electronics by own.. rather than to go to exclusive service centres Which alwas aim to make money by replacing or Dumping the parts...
This video inspires every individual....
I never seen man dedicated like you.
Your repair differs light years from other who replace only connectors and power mos fets.
Damn, that's some dedication!
your patience is the biggest virtue here. couldnt believ that you brough it back from the dead. the ripped pads under the GPU chip...i mean its just out of the world...great work man.
Hands down the greatest GPU repair attempt (& success!!!) on youtube so far. You went SO far to try to fix this gpu, and ended up doing it!
Wonder where the other cracks were, maybe the other broken corner actually had some traces in it?
not likely
You should contact "no name" and ask him to pass on cards that he says are No Fix. You know how to bring cards back to life. Since I found your channel, I see more and more how little "no name" cares about the customer when it comes to graphics cards. He just wants to quickly change a component, advertise his online chop, and then grab the next quick fix. Love watching your videos because you really get to the root of the problem and solve it. Many thanks for your interesting videos.
I love watching your repairs. And thanks for your efforts! 90% of repair shops wouldn't even bother and they would throw away the GPU to landfill.
Love your videos. Keep posting please thank you
Nice job dude!! Very entertaining.
Awesome job, love the 8-bit tune during digging.
Simply Amazing!!! You amaze me with your pursuit to solve the issue. A man after my own heart.
Best music of any repair channel on RUclips.
I have the utmost respect for you. You sir are extremely knowledgeable in your craft and inspire me to be a better technician. Thank you for making these videos and making your repairs look fun and entertaining to watch. I hope to one day have a fraction of your skill and talent. Take care and please continue posting videos. Absolutely amazing work and skill.
I'm impressed! Good Job!

Amazing job! That core pads... that is next level repaire. Respect!
Bro ur insane. Great work
The more I watch, the more I get blown away by your skills. Every single video of such repairs is a Magnum Opus in my book.
Cheers, brother.
9 minutes ago is the earliest ive been. Love your repairs and its interesting to learn more about gpu's, never knew you could straight up drill into the substrate and fix it like youve done in prior fixes. Anyways, your stuff has made me think about trying to learn to repair gpus myself since youre self taught, best of luck.
the name «substrate» is usually used to refer to the small PCB the GPU crystal sits on
@@formbi They are both substrates. One is the interposer substrate and another PCB substrate.
Wow.. i thought this gpu is impossible to fix. You are master
one of the most insane & impressive gpu repair I've ever seen on RUclips. So good!
i am completely fascinated and wish to do board repair. after watching you and rossman repairs i thought were impossible are possible. well done maybe one day i can make videos repairing boards and give you credit.
thanks for the video , love to watch your content .
Your work is truly hypnotic, what a skill and love for the work you do.
Following your video…you drive less and you reduce waste by repairing! Layer repair?!?! WTF?!? 😮 Never saw that…for most is a no fix! You really are a top master skilled technician 💪💪
Insane!!! You are a monster
Instant sub
you make everything look easy, you are the best, please continue posting videos videos like this...
Genius no doubt about it, bravo sir, watch all you vids start to finish, love you dedication and your sense of humour dry and to the point.
Hi Gpu Gangster u have earned a new subscriber.
Really enjoyed ur repair.
Your work is awesome!!!!
Love your video's and work. Keep powering on.
You are the best repairman I know so far. Keep on going.
Hella repair, mad props.
I really dig your music selection fir the video. There's baroque and blues qualities present. I could dance to it.
I love your content thanks for sharing this valuable insight !
Absolutely maniacal! Your perseverance is unmatched. Bruh!😂
Love the dramatic theatrical type of video! Made me laugh a few times!
Wow, this is some seriously hard work. I repair consoles too, but this is next level... I wouldn't dare to lift a gpu core. I already did with nintendo switches, but this is just insane. And all the trace repair. Just wow, big respect.
Top repair. You rescued a graphics card beyond repair 👍
Legend! Well done bravo 🔥💪😎
Persistence paid off in the end. Excellent video.
Great job sir!!! Amazing what you are able to do when you put your determination and skill to the task.
Inspiring video, I really enjoyed watching this amazing work. You deserved my subscription and a big thumb up

مجهود لا يصدق ! انت فعلا عبقري 👏

Inspiring stuff and fascinating to watch
This video rocked!! Well done yo

absolutely amazing, i love your dedication. Also I like the fact the polar bears are thinking of me.
Amazing work.
Amazing work, and some great chippy as well!
That was a proper resurrection.
Also, I kinda like the music of your videos... Relaxing...
Good work :) love your videos
This was my card he repaired. I had truly lost hope. Talked to so many different people for the repair and even Asus wanted to charge me $2000+ to repair it. Then i finally found Northwest repair and im so glad i did. Truly one of a kind. Currently have it plugged in and runs beautifully. Thank you again sir.
Also no I didn't damage it. I bought it like that not knowing the damage. Then I couldn't refund so I was stick with it unless I could find a way to fix it.
