Just went through a CCW course this weekend running a Kore belt for the first time. Absolutely solid platform. Held up a 7-round L Frame 357 magnum like it was nothing, plus two speed loaders strong side and 3 mags for my semi-auto on the other side. Pants and gear all in place for hours. All the other guys were yanking their pants and struggling to holster, but I felt like I had a solid platform that kept my holster where I wanted it for every draw and reholster, and my rounds and mags where I needed them for every reload. Its definitely a great belt.

I bought a kore belt about 2 weeks ago, I love the belt for when I use a specific holster, an urban carry G3. I didn’t like the holster at first, it was my old leather gun belt that was the problem. The Kore belt works well with the G3 and also works very well an outside the waist band concealed carry holster. Now when it comes to appendix holster, the stiff Kore belt is too stiff for my use, my groove life belt , which is not a gun belt, works best for appendix carry. The grove life will stretch slightly when you set down. I don’t like to have to adjust my belt everytime I set or stand.

After watching your awesome review, I used the discount code you provided to get 3 belts along with 2 buckles. These belts are close to perfect as it gets. They work and doesn’t give that you’re tactical.

Im new to carrying. I struggled to tuck my holster in a quick smooth manner. Most times I'd end up undoing my entire belt. Ugh what a hassle. I thought it was my pants or the holster's fault, until someone pointed out it was probably my crapy (non-gun) belt I was wearing. I just found out about Kore belts. The ability to quicly loosen and tighten the belt and its rigidity seem to fix my problem.

Tractor Supply carries a line of work clothes and accessories called ridgeline. They make a sort of thick but still very flimsy 1.5 inch wide work belt and it works exactly like the kore belts as far as the zip strip thing with that kore type of buckle. I dissected it and removed the buckle and that strip. I took my old thick leather gun belt and milled a groove the zip strip would fit in to nicely. I attached the strip to the leather with professional strength fabric adhesive, the buckle fit on the leather perfectly. I took that left over piece from the Kore belt and removed the leather from one side leaving the nylon on the other side and attached it to the old leather belt on the inside with the same fabric glue and backed the glue up with a few stitches. Now my old leather gun belt works exactly like the kore belt and it’s stiffened in just the right place. I did this just to see if it would work, it works great, now to see how long it holds up I guess. I still love my new Kore belt the most. Stay safe everyone. Peace.

I have 3 of the Kore EDC ratcheting belts.ibhave been wearing the everyday for over 3 years. For the most part, I really like them. However all 3 the metal clip that connects to ratchet and lock the buckle to the belt sticks and has to be manually pushed over center each time and for some reason the retailing Allen screws have started coming loose and have to check and retighten them. Talked with Kore support and since belts are out of warranty was advised that there was nothing that Kore would do. So, I'm now looking elsewhere for be an EDC belt.

    • @trubble2543

My Kore belt has started to slip over and over. This has started after only a month. Don't cut the belt short and rewalize that you will need to constantly trim the length. Spoke with Kore and they said that the issue was the old buckel I had and I could purchase the new and improved model. I did and guess what...same issue. Go for something else.
