Having lived in Berlin for a few months, I absolutely love cycling in this city. London should emulate Berlin and other cycle friendly cities in Europe. Segregated Cycle lines and traffic lights are the way forward.
That settles it - my next vacation is going back to London (which I love, but back in 2006 when I visited, it looked too dangerous to ride a bike). Those routes look AWESOME - can't wait to bike around London :) Also looking forward to trying a Boris bike!
These improvements in cycle lanes in London are amazing. East - West; North - South Cycles Superhighway is the way forward. Road safety plus a health heart, legs & body strength it all make us stronger Londoners ...lol
With the number of fatalities this week alone the highways need to be separated entirely from the main flow of traffic and Cycle couriers using them for Alleycats at night should be fined £200.00 on sight payable immediately and Tax inspectors used to take care of those still left to fine those that are living on the Black
Get rid of any cars in Central London apart from Buses, Taxis, and small trucks. Military / Government officials (maybe health officials too) get a pass.

Rode some of this in Summer 2015, was a great experience and perfect way to see London. Beats having 30,000 extra car's and drivers on the road!

Its only a superhighway if you can be sure that cars won't drive in them.
Highway isn't suppose to have red light.
