Very slick! Your tool looked like the easiest by far. One of these days I sure hope to get to do some trapping up there at the school! Take care brother and I am looking forward to the class season of 2019.

Great tool not over thought just simple and it works. I'm sure once you sit down and look at it it will have many more uses.

That's a cool tool that you came up with. I haven't trapped in over 40 yrs, started as a kid outside of N Royalton along the East Branch of the Rocky River and various creeks and ponds. I got into mainly as pest control for the farmers in area, and it was quite lucrative. It is definitely a good skill to know.

Nice! It looks like it could be easily attached to the outside of a backpack for quick easy access. These would be a good addition to the Pathfinder store. I don't have any 330s but I'm sure it would beat carrying around the regular tool for my 220s.

Have you seen the cocking gun style setter that's my favourite, lightweight easy and holds the trap till you are completely down allows you to use both or one handed

You could use a toggle in combination with that rope to apply more force on it and reduce the stress on your hand?
    Happy holidays!

Yap I got myself stuck in a 330 a month ago it was not fun and my wrist is just now getting better. So just be ready if you are going to use these.

Nice tool but why not make a simple foot compressor?
As far as setting at home I use power tools.

Have a cousin that got his arm caught in one, just a 15 min walk from home, and from trap down his arm was blue, been bad if my dad and his was not home.

Using rope seems to be awfully labor intensive. T bar seems to be the way. Lite and fast. Nice will have to try.

That rebar tool looked like it worked good. You should probably take that 12" fleshing knife you sell for 12 bucks or so on the site, put in the description that they have to be profiled to a edge to be able to flesh critters. It's dull no edge at all. I mean not a huge deal if you know how to profile a edge and what do you want for 12bucks lol. A edge man lol. For a beginner trapper this doesn't work lol so fleshing is on hold till I fix my 12 dollar fleshing knife I'll make it work but I'm getting a better one. Tell people in the description box this does not have a edge, this is a do it yourself project fleshing knife lol. Your shop is one of my favorite places to buy knives and gear but maybe you shouldn't sell this this fleshing knife. Maybe have the shop make one pks fleshing knife. Shoot good thing I have the Buffalo skinner it's what I have been using. Probably not the best for a learning trapper should use I put so many holes in my furs lol still a ton of learning and practicing for sure.
