First off, let me say that I am a girl, actually a 46 year old mom and not a knife person and I have spent 2 days completely nerding out on Mora knives. Why? I really don't know, but I think they are so damn cool that I have bought 9 in the last 24 hours and they will be stocking stuffers. In fact, I have fully decided my 3 children and their significant others and all their children will be getting knives every xmas for the rest of my life. Great freaking gifts. I'll just use mine in the kitchen and for whittling when we go camping. My ballet dancing daughter, well she will just be a badass with a cool collection. Yay!!!
Will you adopt me? Might be a little odd...I'm 16 years older than you! Hey, a tip I learned from someone from England: Give some coins with the gift of a knife--so that you'll never exchange "sharp" words!!
I might have missed it, but the spine is sharpened to a 90° angle for striking a ferro-rod & if you get the kit it comes with a decent one! My friend bought us the kit version shortly after they were released and I think it's a nice outfit for what it can do.
Love the eldris, got it to be a pocket fixed blade. It makes a great utility knife, or a little fire prep knife. Flat ground spine has a 90 degree angle on the edges, works well with a ferro rod and sharp enough to shave off of a magnesium block. Wouldn't choose it as my primary knife, but at 2 ounces, awesome secondary knife. I have a hunter friend that says he likes it for skinning game. Probably adequate but not ideal for that job. Mora knives are my favorite!
I have my Mora Trinity, the Garberg, Kansbol and Eldris 😊plus my two companions, orange and green HD, plus my wood carving basic and my 120 wood carver.
I feel like for me it was worth getting the eldris for the price compared to cheaper bigger moras is because it's more EDC friendly. I walk all over my city with an orange Mora eldris and I don't get any funny looks and negative reactions. It kinda doesn't look like traditional knife when sheathed and work as necklace. I live in NY too so people are generally not too happy about the sight of big knives. And for it's size, it's a work horse 💛 Telling people now to not underestimate this knife just because it's small. This small knife bites BIG
If u want better grip u can turn it around and use the sheet and push in the handle in it and u get a longer handle to grip on. Very handy when u do more extensive knife work with it.
I have the blue handled one. It is real comfortable. It is too thick for a neck knife. For the size, weight, and price Mora has some options I like better. It does have a good sheath though. It is still really good for the money.
The pack come with some rope for a necklace an the leather is a strap to keep the knife in the holsters an has a hole for u to tie the rope to an connect a flint rod with it. I just got it as my second mora knife my son got my old one an loves it.eldris is my pocket knife. Great video.
Man i love this! I just went and ordered one in yellow, I had no idea mora made this. This kinda reminds me of an otzi sized blade just modern, very cool.
really wish they offered a plastic sheath with a belt clip like the companion does. id love to clip this little guy to my belt and have a fixed blade on me that is totally hidden under an untucked shirt. the companion sheath pokes out just a little bit.
I wish Mora did more full-tang knives. The lack of a full tang is my one complaint about the Moras I own. You probably don't need the full tang as much with a knife this small, though.
I love this knife. I have the black color one, it's a great do all kinda knife, love the knife great review and for ever one have a great thanksgiving.
Merry Christmas to you and your family Shane. Where did you find a strong enough black ball and chain necklace? All I can find are the flimsy silver ones. Thanks for the channel, interesting and entertaining and I sometimes even learn something cool.
I wish this knife had the scandi grind run the whole length.. I’m sure it doesn’t affect functionality but I just think it would be more visually appealing if it did..

Best mom ever!:D

Yeah mom! You go girl!!
I freaking love you!
I felt the same way when I bought my first one, which was a Kansbol. They're some of the sharpest ones I've ever owned.
I own at least 6 different Mora's including the Garberg and Eldris love them all! Mora doesn't make a bad knife they are all superb!
If you ever need the handle a little longer for a certain task put it in the sheath backwards
NIKA MCCRACKEN yes not many people know this......... that’s what drew me to knife
Ive seen people do this but how stable is itt?
I asked Santa for one today!!!
Engineering 100
I have one of these and find it quite useful. I like that they kept the handle a bit beefier than most neck knives.

The Eldris is a fire dragon on the rods.
Moraknives are some of my favourites, i live in Finland and here a good knife is a must. Moras never disappointed me!

This blade makes a perfect pack knife or something you keep in a tackle box.
the more reviews I see of this little knife, the more it grows on me!
Eldris with neck cord carries great in a vest top or shirt pocket. No bouncing or hanging when walking or bending over.
The handle and ergonomics of this knife is awesome
Got the red. Fantastic knife. Highly recommended to absolutely everyone. Period.
If u want better grip u can turn it around and use the sheet and push in the handle in it and u get a longer handle to grip on. Very handy when u do more extensive knife work with it.
I love this little knife it served me great when i was in the boundary waters cutting cheese fishing line and scraping my fire steel.
I have the blue handled one. It is real comfortable. It is too thick for a neck knife. For the size, weight, and price Mora has some options I like better. It does have a good sheath though. It is still really good for the money.
The only thing better than a Mora is a Helle. And that's setting the bar incredibly high.

Looks like a good fix blade option for UL backpackers like me where pack space is prime real-estate lol
Just when I thought I couldn’t dislike mora more
For 3-5 dollars on Amazon get the "mora belt loop for eldris, kansbol and garberg" awesome accessory... I love my Eldris.
I have two moras but I need this one! Moras are the best knives Ive owned
I wish Mora did more full-tang knives. The lack of a full tang is my one complaint about the Moras I own. You probably don't need the full tang as much with a knife this small, though.
Did your boys get a chance to handle this knife? I wonder how it would function as a camp knife for my small-for-age eight-year-old.
I love this knife. I have the black color one, it's a great do all kinda knife, love the knife great review and for ever one have a great thanksgiving.
Nice! I have Companion Robust and may put one of these in my cookpot for food prep. Cheers
I have a mora companion but I think the “pocketability” of the Eldris is super awesome.
It's tiny...way short. Fascinating.... Like the multi-colors... Sheath's longer than the knife!
Must be one of those you have to hold and use before it seems big enough to be worth it.
I love my eldris. When I go out in the woods I carry wear this around my Neck
Both of my kids each have one of these in their packs all the time.
Handle looks comfy
For a longer grip use the sheeth. Put the end of eldris in sheeth and woooo longer grip.enjoy.
I love this knife company. They make amazing knifes Blade Hq has moraknivs around 10$ right now which is amazing.👍
I have a red one. Gets lots of use.
got this in red ...it is a cool little knife
Been contemplating getting this little guy! Might have to now
I have the one in black and I really love it
I have the same one color everything I use it all the time love that it's stainless great fishing knife too for gutting and cutting bait
I have the same color. I love that little knife!
Hey brother, does it float?
Yer sheath slides on the handle or the Eldris making it a full size handle.
What?! Oh, I have to try that.
Yes and very few people know this..........
I do enjoy the morakniv I already own but this has always interested me
Cant beat a mora. Just havnt picked up one of these small guys yet
I've considered getting this in the past. I like the look and the price.
Merry Christmas to you and your family Shane. Where did you find a strong enough black ball and chain necklace? All I can find are the flimsy silver ones. Thanks for the channel, interesting and entertaining and I sometimes even learn something cool.
I have this in blue. It rocks!
rightsman123
I have it in blue too, but I kind of wish I got it in green. I wanted green, but I impulsively bought the blue...
I have heard great things about the Eldris!
Not a "neck knife guy" but if it performs like the Mora Black, I'll be happy.
if I just pay the 23 for knife an sheath on Amazon does the knife stay in the case well as a EDC neck knife ?
Can do leatherwork with this?
Itd make a good lil food dresding knife slash extra fine in hard to work ares when skinning animals,i agree it is kool for its size an uniqueness
Cool little blade
Happy Thanksgiving LBS!
I would like to play with one before I dropped $39 + shipping. This video is the next best thing. Thanks!
eric dale $20 on amazon
Thanks Mason!
cool little dagger
Thanks for the GAW.
Nice review. Love the Mora’s I own. Thanks.
i little lanyard with a cobra or diamond knot solve the issue of the flying pinky... LoL...
I knife review should contain the blade steel!
It's a Sandvik steel, most likely 12C27.
Looks pretty handy
The looks doesn't do anything for me. I have the campanion and the kansbol and i really enjoy using them both.
Great review! Happy thanksgiving and thanks for all you do!
I love Morakniv
Funny looking knife! Guess I better get one in hand to really check it out? Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍁🍽
I love it when the companies leave the handle size big while reducing the blade. Small handle won't do any good for me. Great review!
I had the red one and loved it
Dam bro!! Workin on thanksgiving, awesome review! Happy thanksgiving 🦃🍽🍁
Great Rocking Short Sweet Mora / Reviews !
I think I might have to pick this up as a pack knife.
I think of it more as a utility knife.
Seems like a great go to and with that $100 I could get a few.
Seems to be just a bit pricey when compared to the Companion, but one or the more comfortable handles for a small knife.
Can't beat a mora for the price!
cool looking knife!
Love mine!
Cool knife love mora’s
Mora’s are fun
The stubby little knife that could. I see the cool factor but I'm not a hurry to get one.
I own one
Will I guess if you like it go for it but for me it's just to small for a fixed blade .
It's so chubby and cute...like me😁
Yes there is a black.
It may be one of those knives that you don't get until it's in hand. I've never used or even held one. I just don't get it.
Cool knife
Pretty cool!
*watches while holding his mora 106* XD
Really cool!
It's cute & I'm going to buy one A.S.A.P..
I wish this knife had the scandi grind run the whole length.. I’m sure it doesn’t affect functionality but I just think it would be more visually appealing if it did..
Awesome!
This knife reminds me of a semi chub...
ClearedCrayon Are you talking about what I think you are?
so you never figured out that it is a carvingknife? That is why its so small.
I'm not a fan of the 2 seperate grinds on the blade.
I've got one. Makes for a really great skinning knife. Anyone who has skinned any large animal should understand how great this thing would be.
Seems a little short for my use.
Sounds like what my girlfriend said to me :(
