For the Race'n'Chase concept, what actually happened is that DMA initially intended to give the choice to the player between playing as a cop or a criminal through different game modes, but then they realized that playing as a cop was much more boring and frustrating than playing as a criminal due to having to abide to the law, so they decided to scrap that role altogether and stick with the role of criminal and make it the main point of the game.
5 can. 5 is the most fun. Countless and countless amount of content. Sure 4 and san andreas and even vice city stories had the best stories but overall 5 is easily the best

Two DMA games that should always be brought up when talking about GTA history should be Body Harvest and Space Station Silicon Valley. Body Harvest especially since it really laid the groundwork for a 3D GTA game. Also there was talk back in the day that GTA 3 was going to release on the N64. But DMA had a rough time working with Nintendo and instead decided to wait for the more powerful PS2.
GTA IV is the first GTA game I ever played and I love all the detail it has with each character and how dark and gritty it is. No matter what ending you get it doesn’t feel like you “won” the game, yes you completed it but at what cost?

@@jaydonefilms If you actually end up doing it I'd recommend doing it city by city since games like Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories features most gangs from the old ones(plus a few ones),and separate It into 3D and HD Universe(since gangs like the Families and Ballas sets and Liberty City mafia families change from universe to universe)

5 is gorgeous and has a great story and multi-player, but the amount of activities and range of vehicle types you get in San Andreas is better.
