The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth main installment in The Elder Scrolls series, following The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011.
The game's main story revolves around the player character and their quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. The videogame is set two hundred years after the events of Oblivion, and takes place in the fictional province of Skyrim. Over the course of the game, the player completes quests and develops the character by improving skills. The game continues the open world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.

The hardest boss in the elder scrolls is naming your character
Tipp: Look up your race, gender and race dependent family name on UESP, theres a list of all the names featured in all of TES before. So for example, "Breton Male names" etc. I like to play as some distant relative to a already existing family, fits you right into the lore
I like to snag names from other games, like Artorias from Dark Souls

You're asking too much! How they will put micro transactions? How will they sell gestures? How will they justify the lack of content? How will they apply cosmetic DLCs??
I wouldn't mind an optional 2-4 player co-op but no more than that.
I’m okay with online if it is restricted to a battle option in an arena of sorts.

@@jdmuller2789 drop in drop out co-op would be nice. nemesis system from the Mordor games would really breathe life into adventuring
Things WE don't want: micro transactions, ES '76, voiced player character, pay to win.
ESO is the TES equivalent of 76, so I wouldn't worry too much about that
@@HazarTulum lol have you been paying attention?
I wouldn't mind voiced protagonist as long as they improved the diolog options skyrim would commonly give you 1 or 2 responses in certain situations which doesn't help roleplay much IMO maybe something like fallout 3 and NV were skills and stats can unlock new dialogue could help greatly but I know this would be more difficult with a voiced main character but its possible
war you may not mind that stupid shit but EVERYBODY se doesn't
i would like voiced dialogue as long as its optional and i chose the voice

@McLarenBMW TES6? not a chance, you are thinking of Starfield (BGS's next release)
@McLarenBMW Because Bethesda will have just released Star Field. Both games are being made by the same studio and no they are not making both games at the same time.

Yeah and Todd Howard will be part Cyborg by then 😂😅
Bring back spell creation, unarmored, and hand-to-hand skills.
yeah those were great i haven't tried spell greation but i'd love too and what do you think about having the same magic mechanic as from oblivion and older games? i miss that mechanic
Spell creation was so broken tho
Or everything from daggerfall except procedurally generated world
Counterpoint to the unarmored skill tree: lightweight and heavyweight armor shouldn't be a tree either. I'm all in for different armor types having different advantages and disadvantages, but making your character get better at getting hit is kinda silly

I’m calling it, modders are going to recreate ES6 in Skyrim...
They already are. Check out the beyond skyrim channel.

Edit thanks for all the likes. and to answer someones question i ment as in they don't do anything that would make the lore change and keep simple i know they are the makers but how things are going i don't know what they are thinking and so it's a thing of me just hoping they don't do anything wild
Sid Larson and no more lore breaks/retcons.
That is asking to much from Bethesda

Wirr Ling think7ng?
Wirr Ling who think authors can’t break their own established lore? Direct contradictions of previous games are breaking lore
I would like to see mithril armor return.
They can't. Tolkien owns the rights to Mythril armor.
Mithril makes me think of Runescape, that game was really cool back in the day think I played it around 2007 or so, I wonder if it's still going it was a ton of fun, I remember one time mining and some other player randomly started talking about Transformers, and the 2nd film had just released which I hadn't seen yet, so this other player spent like 30 minutes reviewing it and comparing it to the first movie. It was kind of weird but for whatever reason that's one thing I remember the most.

And crossbows in the base game.
Emaphsis on ships, since it's in Hammerfell / High Rock.
100% this, throwing weapons redux and animated armory for Skyrim are two mods that feel like they complete the game, magic grenades make non-mage characters viable, throwing torches, oil, knives and all kinds of improvised junk keeps stuff fresh and gives you ton of new builds and tactics to deal with various enemies, and landing a whole axe on their face across the dungeon and seeing them fly backwards is great.
@Zach cash - definitely.
What I want: Vampirism and Lycanthropy to have their own mini factions.
Having to join a pack or coven that has a safe area with vendors and radiant quest givers for early gold would be amazing and add a lot to role playing.
They could make something like the theves guild (their base I mean) for a covern of vampires but make it so a covern of werewolves are trying to take them out sort of like a mini civil war filled with espionage with the people of the normal city being non the wiser and they could even have groups of vigilant of stendarrs searching the city

I want the introduction of medium armor in ES6. That way, you could have light armor for agility, heavy armor for tanking, and medium armor as the middle ground. It would also be cool to see alternate versions of the same armors. Or even cooler: what if each race had their own set of light, medium, and heavy armors? That would unlock so many different customization options for players.
When you get your imperial armor from the solitude blacksmith he gives you the option to choose medium🧐

Some say they are snakes

Just gimme my naga dammit! Lol
“The anatomy of the Akaviri has become a major issue among Tamrielic scholars recently. Evidence seems to contradict itself. Some scholars propose that, with the amount of evidence available, the Tsaesci must be very snake-like in appearance, while others think that their serpentine traits refer mainly to their face or posture, and some even suggest that they might be serpentine in a metaphorical way.”
@@justrelaxx8314 at this point the mystery of the Tsaesci is kinda bullshit.

What their continent is like, thats one thing. But their appearance should be pretty damn clear
I want absolutely zero micro transactions and zero online required for play
I want a lot of things.. but more voice actors to voice an entire population is top 5 easy.
No thanks. If they did that, they would remove a shitload of other things.
@@alexanderrahl7034 So hiring more than 12 voice actors would result in them removing game content? I'm having a hard time following the reasoning behind that.
@@lukerobbins362 dont reductio ad absurdum this.
You said "i want enough voice actors to voice an entire population"
At the very least, youre hoping for 30.
And its well established that things like voice actors and graphics are massive resource draws on game projects that result in many things getting cut or not implemented at all.
Have you played morrowind?
You dont have to, just watch a review or two. The size of the world, and the sheer number of dialogue in it overshadow skyrim. Because they didnt have to focus so heavily on voice acting.
Daggerfall still to this day, is one of the largest game worlds ever created. Larger than GTA V, Skyrim, and World of Warcraft put together. And thats not an exaggeration.
@@alexanderrahl7034 lol I said MORE voice actors not "enough voice actors to voice an entire population" With the budget behind ES6 they could easily add more voice actors without needing to sacrifice content and still keep the world immersive. You took what I was suggesting to the extreme.
@@lukerobbins362 🙄😒 yeah ok. I said "enough" instead of " more".
My bad. " *more voice actors to voice an entire population* "
But its not that different from my original point. Whether they add 4, 5, 6 or 10 more, it still results the same way.
Fuck man, look at dialogue of fully voiced games vs games that are partially voiced. Fallout NV vs Fallout 4 is a perfect example. Merely by *not* voicing the protagonist they had more dialogue options.
Take Divinity 2, or Tyranny, and ita clear to see my point.
Fuck, you dont even have to take it from me! Go look into it on your own if you care enough to.
The only way I see leaving Tamriel being viable is a GOTY expansion like the Shivering Isles. There is just so much of Tamriel we haven't been to yet in the main games

Dragonriderabens Exactly.
"The battle spaceship with the dragon animations will become the new sensation on the internet"
Oh so true. I’m dreading the release of Starfield as I simply assume it will be garbage now because ... well because Bethesda.
I desperately want a way to block while dual wielding or a spell in one hand, even if it is much less effective than shield blocking
Floormat1000 there’s a mod for that in Skyrim, I really enjoy it even though it is kind of clunky. But I do agree with you for ES6
use a shield spell. Bang.
Yeah, maybe double tapping a weapon has a 'parry' animation, might take more skill to use but then thats kinda the problem trying to block with a sword versus a shield.
More complex combat/skill system and more weapon
I am not a fan a "complex" combat in TES. Ever since even Arena TES combat was flailing a weapon or launching magic till the enemy died.
TES had always put more focus on the character not the precise method of how you go about killing; this would also mean less types of weapons can actually exist as more focus needs to be put on each type of weapon to make them all as detailed, which restricts weapon types and in turn play styles. I'd rather have a Skyrim-like combat system where you just choose your weapon and determine when and how to strike instead of having some sort of "combat mode" where the controls are changed so that you have more detailed combat.
@@IC-23 Or and this might be crazy, we should expect the massive game development company to put the effort into it's flagship series that has sold tens of millions of copies to actually improve and expand on it's systems instead of dumbing them all down repeatedly and using a combat system that is barely more complex than it was in '96 on fucking dos. In fact the combat system even got dumbed down from oblivion where you could use directional power attacks to do anything from disarm to paralyze opponents.

"Being who you want to be in a rich open world experience"
Maybe I want to be a parent, maybe my character goes on quests to take care of their family. There is a ton of Role Play that can go along with having an ingame family. And it's an option that is hardly present in other Bethesda games and other RPGs.
"How will we account for all the things that happen in a 9 month time period. It's too unrealistic"
You can win a war and become the Archmage and kill Alduin in a weeks time, but having 9 months or a year skip by without anything significant happening is out of the ballpark of believability?
I have to agree. During one point wherr i couldnt stand the sight of skyrim, the only way i could stand to play it, was to roleplay myself as a hunter from Riften using the live another life mod.
Unfortunately i simply cannot stand to even look at skyrim now. I tried playing with a naruto mod a week ago. I was kinda into it for a bit. I walked from solitude to whiterun, helped the companions kill the giant, then they spoke to me. Im paraphrasing here, but this is how it went.
Bitch: "wow youre a good fighter, you should join the companions"
Me: "no, fuck off."
Bitch: "hey, fuck you! . . . Come speak with our leader and join us."
*quest accepted, joining the companions*
Me: *alt F4*
We like to rag on fallout 4 for its "3 yes, and a question" dialogue system, but we forget that skyrim did the same shit first.
I literally feel this exact same way about the family aspect. How do I know that removing the family aspect will result in great storylines? I don’t. I could get six shitty quests that all result in me learning about some small town drama that I would never do again on subsequent play throughs. I’d rather keep the family for my own rp experiences and what not.
@@zedorian6547 yeah, they cant really operate on an assumption of what others want to RP as.
Having an in game family sounds amusing at first but upon deeper scrutiny does reveal a lot of hurdles and opens up a can of worms. Sure, there are things you can just ignore with some head canon and rp but not everyone is going to accept such “solutions.”
Remember, we all have various elements of the games were ok with hand waiving away and others we feel much more invested in. Which aspects go in which category depends on the person so you can’t always assume your own bias agrees with most people’s. But the one thing that holds true across the fandom is that the base vanilla game has to be solid. Thus vanilla game mechanics and gameplay elements can’t be half assed.
Second, if you’re ok rp-ing certain aspects with your own head canon or simply suspending your disbelief, why not just rp your family is in the province over? There’s a million and one ways you can extend a similar experience with a little more rp. There’s a significant amount of work difference between having it baked in the game for everyone and simply letting hardcore rp players pretend a little harder.
As for the point that you can’t guarantee the dev hours spent elsewhere will be worth it, that’s a very weak argument. If it holds true here, it applies to just about any aspect of the game, at which point it all becomes moot.
I agree with family being a viable part of role play, but they did make good points about why biological children would be impractical.

It would be cool to let you begin differently, like the alternate start mod or something similar.
Dextrio Redfox yeah this would be awesome, the map could be similar to Skyrim’s layout with having the holds spreading around the map in a sort of circle with whiterun in the middle, (obviously the cities would have different names and the map would be different) meaning you could start in any city or village and not be hit to hard by difficulty.. I remember the new Vegas mod but the randomiser meant you could leave an area and instantly meet a dozen death claws.. 😂
Your gonna be a prisoner again you already know
Maybe each race could begin the game in a different scenario with a unique short quest after it ends, (with some similarities).
The introduction to the game also doesn’t need to be as tedious or lengthy as ESV, players don’t need to be handheld as much as these developers typically do- rpgs aren’t a new genre.
@@manorothpitlordextraordina4041 esvi is probably gonna be an fps

Ego Banana yeah, just a skip button after you watch it one time.
For the dwemer one, actually, it wouldn't bother me if they returned as long it was the main storyline, which is kind of what you said. In one game in the future, I'd quite like them to come back to perhaps even resolve certain issues: they could defeat the empire, supporting the aldmeri, or prevent a different crisis which arises. Frankly, I don't think that it would be terrible as a main quest.
I kinda like the idea of a group maybe traveling through time, but i sincerely hope the main quest isn't faction versus faction.
I want Spears rly I was so pissed of at skyrim for that
Oblivion didn't have spears either; Todd Howard prefers to cut content he, despite player's insisting it's NOT, believes is superfluous, another word for UNNECESSARY. THAT'S why he cut throwing weapons, spears and all those other kinds of weapons after Morrowind, and the shortswords and longswords after Oblivion, right along with a lot of the skills and other roleplay options. He says that it's to make the choices you make MORE meaningful, but taking options away only makes them LESS so, as you're not really making your own choices, but're instead taking one of the things HE selected FOR you WITHOUT your asking him to.
I've been modding my original edition Skyrim (Howard's SABOTAGING free modding and FORCING Creation Club on players has kept me from TOUCHING the special edition despite my getting it for free through their day one release promotion) to add all the equipment, immersion, and roleplay options it's possible to back into the game; the Elder Scrolls NEEDS it to come back.

Bold of you to assume they'll be great considering Bethesda's track record lately...
The creation engine. That’s what we all don’t want
Wolfang Strike Why? There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s not the reason the games are glitchy.
Lmao, you mean the same engine that has made all those amazing games?
You do want it tbh. Otherwise you may get an engine that makes modding more difficult. Getting BGS to switch to a new engine doesn't immediately equal a better game. You have to train all the developers to handle the new engine, figure out its kinks, how to add stuff without breaking too much in the process... BGS knows how to use the creation engine. They just need to properly upgrade it with every game release, which is what they haven't been doing. A change in the engine won't get rid of all the bugs. Actually, correction, it might get rid of some bugs, but it will add new ones that they might not know how to fix.
@@SuperJoshuaAguilar Yes and no. The way the engine it's built is very inefficient. The only way to actually fix it is to rebuild it from the ground up which at that point you should just jump ship to a new engine.
Why? I’ve heard it just works.
I want a bigger map. I want to be able to get lost in a forest or desert because of its vast size.
Try Daggerfall if you want to be lost in the wilderness. The graphics are very dated. It's my favorite ES game because of the size and sheer amount of random encounters.

Dwemer on ice. Help build a small settlement for dwemer who froze themselves. There. You bring back the dwemer, without revealing what happened, and it puts potential conflict into the future
Kid adoption like in the Hearthfire DLC was a'ight, but if that returns to TES 6, it should be possible to adopt all races!
....or let us have our own kids because adoption in a fantasy setting was dumb as aids
Kevin Lucey what? Can you explain that logic? What makes adoption in “fantasy” stupid lol? I just don’t understand?
RizzaXP some countries don’t allow games where you can make your own children only way is to have adopted children
in relation to the first point, i feel like it could be cool to have a small quest that somehow gets you to atmora or akavir, and then somehow gets you back. it would possibly satisfy some fans desire to go there, as well as keep it mysterious.

@@afinoxi nah they were for some time coexisting in peace but at some point the relation soured. It's not clear why. In-game scholars say that maybe the humans procreated faster and the snow elves felt threatened because the newcomers would be greater in number. Out-of-game theories (and maybe even some of the college of Winterhold) speculate that the raid on Saarthal could have happened because the snow elves knew and feared the Eye of Magnus being under Saarthal
Honestly, I just wish they would re-introduce the spell making system from oblivion
I wouldn't mind some time travel stuff with the Dwemer. Say, you go to a ruin, wind up in the past, then return to the present after the quest I would be happy. Mystery still intact, you get a glimpse at Dwemer life at it's prime, and you get to explore the ruins afterward to see how much was eroded by time.
Think it would add some fuel to the lore theories, too, so long as it doesn't touch them disappearing.
I would like to see the return of these spells & enchantments: shield, reflect damage, reflect spell, & open lock spells.
Hand to hand skill. Unarmored skill. Levitation. Dungeons that aren’t the same ancient Nord/dwarven ruins of Skyrim
Return of attributes.
No loading screens between towns and dungeons. A completely seamless world.
Maybe 2 player split-screen.
I love at 8:45 the question of basically:
“Would you rather have some more side quests, or be able to settle down with your wife, have kids, and start a family together?”
Considering how boring and pointless many of the side quests were in previous games, it's a tough question and I'm not even a fan of the having a family idea.
Who need mounts at all? I never used a horse in Skyrim.
horses were more cumbersome than helpful. but if it had a mount system like RDR2/witcher3 then they might be useful.
If anything i want them to be more useful, have storage, let followers have their own horse? Train them to either run away or attack enemies, more interaction whilst on horse back so you dont have to dismount all the time you want to speak to someone
You gotta use them for climbing!
@@Dobbinator817 Better horse combat too, would love a large-scale horse battle.
I used my horse all the time sooo..
I wish the sky would move at night - giving the appearance of real astronomy.
Would be easy too - just a big picture who's position is dependent on the in-game date.
Why would we care what other people want when we have things WE want
You do obviously, you clicked on this video
What a worthless comment you left here. :O
Jordan Kalli Doesn’t mean I watched the video though
Because the fan base doesn't exclude Michael & Scott, you stingy fuckboy. Difference is, they make videos, and we don't. That's it.
@@hellonearthiii4671 So you are commenting this much on a video you didn't watch? I hear some women love virgins, so you are in luck!
What i want in TES6:
-Better Companion control, a dedicated button would be nice
-Skill tree for climbing like in Zelda BOTW
-Ability/Magic button that you hold and Chord it with other buttons for instant ability use (like in Warframe, Dragons Dogma, Prototype)
-Better heat detection and no side stepping enemies for arrows they dont actualy see
-Improved combat animations
-More than just one region, give us Hammerfell and HighRock in one game... common.
Make akivir an invasion/connection through portals much like oblivion scenario? Perhaps with a bit more variety since it's another whole ass continent.
Something people want that I don’t is TES6 being set somewhere there has already been a game for. The current speculation is that it will be set in either High Rock or Hammerfell. Boring. I’m hoping that it will be set in the Summerset Isles, because 1 we haven’t had a game set there (outside of ESO dlc), and 2 Michael Kirkbride dropped a massive spoiler for the future of the Thalmor on reddit, which I will not repeat here, so I would love to see that plot unfold further.
Kirkbridge doesn't work at BGS anymore though and thus his writings aren't canon. Summerset Isles in TES 6 would be impossible, atleast with the Thalmor ruling. How would you be able to play as a human? They would instantly kill you, because only pure High Elves are allowed to step on their Island. Every NPC would be a High Elf and only Khajiits and Bosmer would be allowed to atleast enter the Harbor Docks.
"We're grasping at straws here." well its a good thing we have all these strawmen then.
The mystery bit for Akavir and the Dwemer is a pretty good point. Exalted 2nd edition detailed far more of the setting and, as a result, stripped it of the mythological mystery, the awe and wonder at the stories of the Divine Revolution and other periods of the distant past. 3rd edition is dialing back on that to reintroduce the mystery.
I've never really been that fond of mounts in the Elder Scrolls; apart from the occasional rp character or Arvak I barely use them; although if ES6 is as big as the rumours say; then maybe they could make mounts as useful/ essential for travel like in Red Dead Redemption 2?
As for the possibility of the Dwemer returning; although I'm not too fond of all the mystery getting stripped away; I think it would be cool if perhaps Kagranac skipped them all to the next Kalpic Cycle and they're attempting to return to their rightful place/ merging the two cycles similar to Rassilon from Doctor Who; maybe leading to a choice to allow them to return, but risking Tamriel as we know it or forcing them back into their new home in the Kalpic Cycle? 😅
Ever since Oblivion I've wanted a game which takes place at the height of the dwarves rule. The Elder Scrolls would be almost perfect if it had freakin' dwarves.
Bethesda should hire fudgemuppet and let them work on the next TES6 you guys are amazing
Oh something else I want. I've been playing Red Dead Redemption 2, and I'll admit. Being able to bathe, and the stuff that Arthur is able to do has kind of spoiled me. Instead killing a deer, clicking on it's body, and having the pelt magically appear in my inventory, while the deer is still there intact. How about play out an animation of my character actually skinning the animal. How about putting some bath houses in the game. I know it's hard to believe but people did bathe in the medieval times. Here's another thing I'd like to see, how about some gambling, and prostitution in certain areas of the game. This is something I thought would've been seen in Riften, since it's supposed to be a den of corruption. I expected to see prostitutes hanging around the street, and tavern to also be a brothel. And people playing cards or having cock fights in the alleyways or something. But no, that would've required too creativity from Bethseda. Creativity is something they rather leave to the modding community
12:21 Fugdemuppet remember we saw Dwemer ourselves in Oblivion specifically in Sheogorath realm of Pelagius mind remember 👌.
On a serious note Fallion could have met the Dwemer engineer in Morrowind who was at Oblivion during the battle of red mountain
Wait what?????
@@jontyrosenow9396 their we're two Dwemer next to Sheogorath when you reach the coliseum section of his questline and I know Fugdemuppet had played Morrowind when the last Dwemer gave Nerevar the sub cure for the coprus decease
I would like to see what things found in previous games that you DONT want to return. Because there is some things that we look back at nostalgically which would be crappy in newer games
So the other places are just supposed to stay unexplored ?
Thats the beauty of having a mystery. Once you go there, its all lost and you have a set tone for that place. No question about what it looks like, you've unquestionably seen it.
@@HazarTulum I'd still rather play a game set somewhere the empire and altmer aren't the biggest factions around, so we can get a fairly different place to explore with a less generic set of antagonists.
@@whiskeyhound theres the problem, you're solely seeing certain factions as simply antagonists. Theres so much of Tamriel left unexplored, and so many provinces where we could see the struggle between the indigenous people, Imperial influence and potential Dominion influence. Do you honestly think that the Bethesda of today could give you an Akavir truly worthy of exploration? Its be the same old setting, with the key differences of the continent being attributed to transcription errors
@@HazarTulum I'd rather see the Besthesda of today give me a setting I haven't played before (anything after Oblivion), even if it's just somewhere else in Tamriel.
I'd prefer to not see the Altmer as a major faction in the game, sure have representatives/influence be present, but not to the extent that Skyrim had them, the war idea didn't really interest me and I don't think continuing that storyline without a massive time jump that allows the wold to change significantly would make for a interesting plotline.
Micheal: we and many other elder scrolls fans loved delving into dwemer ruins
Me: that doesn't seem right to me, but the again, you are very strange
I liked the Ayleid ruins of Oblivion better. Though the dwarven ruins were cool, Falmer caves weren't.
@@kylethefraggle30 personally, I loved dwemer ruins (although I was always annoyed that they didn't stay true to the lore and had the constructs immune to frost and no resistance to shock. One of the in game books even had a plot point of a mage casting lightning bolt at a centurion and it doing nothing). Falmer weren't too bad once you went vampire though.
@@Santisima_Trinidad Battling the Falmer wasn't a problem ( I usually play as a vampire Argonian) but the actual caves were really dark, depressing, and kinda creepy. And how hideous the Falmer sound and look. It's still cool just not my cup of tea.
"Something you want but we don't is *having a family*"
Why would I have to consider what happens politically while I'm raising my child? I took time to become a companion, an assassin, a master thief, and a master of destruction and conjuration. I helped jarls. I helped nobody's. I saw the entire world and adopted children after getting married. You know what happened politically? Not a damn thing. Alduin didn't eat the world while I took my time dealing with him, and Ulfric didn't do shit to beat the legion or kick that Thalmor bitch and her lackey's from my homeland. I did all that too. Same with Oblivion. I did all kinds of things before I finished the story. Nothing happened while I explored and messed about. There is no good reason they couldn't implement biological children into Elder Scrolls 6 for those of us that want them. Considering that there is at least one mod out that allows a more organic relationship and the option of a child I'm sure it can be done. If not I'll just have to wait (again) for one of the awesome mod creators to do their thing.
"Great side quests"
One) honestly I feel like to some people they played completely different games with how often others look back with rose-tinted glasses, given most side quests are 'go here grab this and I'll be your friend forever, even if you soul trap me and stab me in the gut to make a knife.'
Two) I would gladly give up ten dungeon's worth of crappy loot of iron blades and empty petty soul gems to finally have my argonian family thank you. Besides, we can probably guess that anything cool would probably be put behind a paywall with how bethesda is going.
Edit: AS FOR THE DWEMER if the case of even having ONE "ruins the mystery" of what happened to them? Guess what? MORROWIND RUINED IT THEN! You can ask the last dwemer what happened and he hints at the heavily theorised 'Zero-sum' theory, that or all the dwemer currently linked being basically soul-trapped in Lorkan's heart, which is what I believe given the little experiment that happens at the college. Also almost all dwemer ruins in Morrowind were filled with ghosts OF Dwemer, which kinda annoys me that wasn't the case in Skyrim as well.
Ffs it's almost like no one played the older games.
I’d really like to see DLC for TES 6 when it comes out, where I can travel to different provinces of Tamriel.
One more thing when it comes to say horses or camels they should be able to store some items I can't remember it's been quite some time since I played Oblivion but I thought you could do that with your own horse correct me if I'm wrong as I said it has been literal years like a lot of years ago
• better interaction with companions
• more meaningful and impactful outcomes of storylines
• more divergent narratives
• more polished combat and gameplay
• new, contemporary engine
• less bugs
• mod support
• no multi
• no micros
• returning characters like Serana (PLEASE), Ulfric Stormcloak, Elenwen, Erik the Slayer, Karliah, Brynjolf, Cicero, etc etc, even if only for DLC or cameo appearances.
• deeper magic
• more meaningful and useful perks
• better usage of the Speech tree
• addition of non-combatative skill trees such as Cooking, Bardic Arts, Horseriding, Constructionist, Tailor, etc.
• implement more daily activities we can take part in that have meaning and rewards
It's gonna run on the old skyrim engine, so don't expect a game on par with witcher 3. If fallout 76 is any indicator of their quality control, it may be the last nail in the coffin.
Weren't they gonna use a new engine
Nope
@Wirr Ling True, but Bethesda hasn't written anything good besides Far Harbor recently.
@Wirr Ling it's still the creation engine. I don't trust Bethesda, even if they polish it more than a diamond
@@Vlugazoide The reason why the elderscrolls online (heavily modified HeroEngine) is performing a 100% better than fallout 76. The creation engine can't handle highspeed and complex fights, nor highend graphics\ENB (see the joke that is skyrim LE). www.googame.net/features/creation-engine-what-it-cant-do/
All I want is a way to be recognized as evil and necromancy
I played morrowind for the first time and it is awesome I thought I wouldn't like it but I did it is so fun
I recently started Oblivion and it's so much fun. More roleplaying, the use of attributes, and better looking terrain, and the combat (even though there was no dual-weildinh) were better than Skyrim.
On the topic of the Dwemer, I think a quest involving a dwemer ruin where we discover a dwemer locked away in some kind of mechanical sarcophagus (kind of like with Serana) might have potential. He or she could feel despair over the isolation between they and their species to the point they'd feel suicidal. It's up to the player to convince them otherwise, and if they do, create a unique and interesting follower. If they don't, the player could use a lexicon to take their knowledge to gain special Smithing perks. Could be Roleplaying at its finest
I would rather have a family than 10 more fetch quest.
Agree imagine having tour own clan training your kid having your own fortress etc. (Sorry for the english I m french)
@samplexample I have been playing this game since 11/11/11 so don't tell me to get used to senseless fetch quest quests. There is plenty of room for both. BTW I'm not a dude.
The main thing I want from es6, besides it bring a great game, is to not be some prophesied hero, but just an ordinary person who rose to importance through his/her own choices and drive.
Hey maybe do a video on what we can learn from the elder scrolls online - as in what features worked well there and could work in a single player game. ESO is not a perfect game but its got some good ideas. I liked eso’s crafting, house decorating, outfit dying, and world maps.
You could also definitely do a list of features you’d like to see in tes6 that are from other series. Tbh I liked the Witcher 3’s mount system where roads increased speed and you’d auto ride to a pre-set location as long as you didn’t deviate; I used this often instead of fast traveling just to stay immersed in the world.
ESO did reintroduce some features from previous games, like medium armor and being able to force locks.
I love how they make it seem like having both kids and side quests is impossible
One thing I want but you may not is an armor system similar to Fallout 4. You start off with a gambeson and over time you can add on a mail hauberk, breastplate, pauldrons, gauntlets, tassets, and sabatons of different styles IE Iron/Steel/Elven/Dwarven/Orcish/Glass/Ebony/Daedric.
yes
I agree with parts of your Dwemer statements but I'd like to see them come back for a grand reason. Something so dangerous that the threat spans every dimension and reality. Something like Thomas the train or Macho Man.
This game just needs cbbe
On by default.
Spears please! With how prevalent they really were in history, and the variety it would add to combat, they would be a great addition! (If they get them right, that is, it is Bethesda after all ;) )
