- 4.10: Design a four-bit combinational circuit 2’s complementer. (The output generates the 2’s complement of the input binary number.) Show that the circuit can be constructed with exclusive-OR gates. Can you predict what the output functions are for a five-bit 2’s com- plementer?

Sir thanks you for your help , you are the best teacher who help me in hard time , big respect from Pakistan ❤, love you sir
you're the best thing that's happened to me in a long timeee
6 and 7 ka 2's complement galat nikala hai
Thanks man, you helped me alot, keep it up
Thanks, that was amazing!
You are The Best Here . Thank You So Much.
Thank u so much
Tom is my exam n I m sure that it's gonna help me a lot

For the the single term 8th in W's K-MAP, shouldn't we've written the expression with the 3rd position in map ?
Hi... I have a question..... what would be the diagram look like if it's a 2 bit 2s complement??
Very helpful, thanks :)
Amazinggg!
Excellent work...... do upload pdf of these notes.
This video demonstrates the design of a 4-bit 2's complementer circuit using exclusive-OR gates. It also predicts the output function for a 5-bit 2's complementer.
Key moments:
00:00 In this video, the problem of designing a combinational circuit to find the two's complement of a 4-bit binary number using exclusive OR gates is solved. The process of finding two's complement for different binary numbers and expressing the circuit in terms of XOR operation is demonstrated.
-Explanation of finding two's complement for different 4-bit binary numbers using exclusive OR gates. It includes the step-by-step process of inverting and adding 1 to the binary numbers.
-Demonstration of creating a two's complement table and deriving the expressions for W, X, Y, and Z using the binary values. Expressing the final expression in terms of XOR operations.
05:14 The video explains how to derive expressions for W, X, Y, and Z in a logic circuit for a 4-bit 2's complementer, using XOR gates and logic operations.
-Deriving expressions for W, X, Y, and Z using logic operations and XOR gates in a 4-bit 2's complementer circuit.
-Understanding the logic circuit design process for a 4-bit 2's complementer using input lines and XOR gates.
-Predicting the output function for a 4-bit 2's complementer based on the designed logic circuit and expressions for W, X, Y, and Z.

2's complement of 6 & 7 will be :
1 0 1 0 & 1 0 0 1 respectively.
Right
+1
that's true
yep
There's an online solution manual for the 5th edition of the Ciletti - Mano that has the same errors
Best teacher
Sir why 1 will be discarded in 1 step ? Can you please explain me
thank u!
Thanks Sir
6 and 7 2's complement in truth table is incorrect, resulting in whole circuit being incorrect. Spent an hour looking at the final circuit wondering why it was slightly different to mine. :"(
He corrected it at 6:30..
Then how come the circuit become different🤔
you are right
Thanks bro.. 💙
Welcome 😊
Ap kis edition ko follow krty he sir?

hey any one pleas help me Design a circuit to enable a chemical additive to be introduced into the fluid through another inlet only when the temperature is not too cold or too hot and the fluid is above the high- level sensor.🙂🙂
tks
Im a bit confused, isnt the 2's complement of binary 0000 be equal to 10000
Bro wait for 1 from right side . If u found it 1st 1 place is as it and after that take 1's complement of remaining part
plz provide the chappters fours video lectures playlist link
It is there ase all in one playlist
at 2:56 the twos complemetn of 0110 is 1010
not:
1001
Caution:
"It has got a very big error."
.
2's complement of 0110 is 1010 & 0111's 2's complement is 1001.
.
.
So,the whole result & design is wrong.
But the procedure is correct.
He corrected it at 6:30.. So i guess there is no mistake there
why ab'c'd' is a(b+c+d)' ? i think that cant be possible, the result maybe should be a(b+c+d) but that cant make a xor with a'(b+c+d)
v = E + (A+B+C+D) , what is v and E?, how can you build the formula v = E +(A+B+C+D)?
E, A, B, C and D are the five outputs for five-bit complementer. V is the most significant bit of the five inputs.
@@faresalaa4562 But he said MSB is E

do u pronounce W as blue?
instead of saying "A bar" you should say "not A"
Thank you
what the fuck he saying
thank u!
