Michelin XAS Tires

As Michelin dominated the high performance radial tire market in the ‘60s, it introduced a new tire that revolutionized the industry yet again. The Michelin XAS, which debuted in 1965, features an asymmetrical tread design.
Michelin XAS Tires offer exceptional handling and performance, thanks to the efforts of Michelin engineers, who took into account the stresses and loads on various parts of the tire. Michelin XAS tires were fitted to many high end sports cars in the ‘60s, including Ferrari 250, Porsche and BMW. This series evolved into the XVS, which was a slightly larger and updated variant of the XAS.
