I am a wildlife cinematographer and DP based in Florida, and seeing you holding a RED camera on the streets of New York resembles in my opinion any time I’ve held a camera in front of an 8 foot alligator or a lion with cubs, dangerous 🤣 Funny enough, here I am watching your video because I’m flying there tomorrow just to hold my Dragon DSMC2 and walk around the streets of New York! Wish me luck.
Epic. I live here and have a Komodo as well. You just inspired me to get out and shoot. Which lens did you use? Did you use any filters? Do you keep the ISO at800? Because the night time shots are so clean. Would love to see how you graded the shots.
Hey! That’s amazing. So happy to hear that. If I am in NYC again we’ll have to do a meet up. I only brought two lenses since I need to fit everything in my carry on. So everything was shot on sigma 35 and canon 100. No filters, just the Tilta mirage as my matte box vnd. And then I tried my best to keep everything under 800 iso, but it was a challenge for the full night shots. So some I have to bump up to 2000 and then just used davinci’s noise reduction to save them 😂.
@@theroyalmob wow thanks so much :) awesome, I loved that area. That was right by hotel actually. And yeah I brought my indie 7. The onboard monitor isn’t big enough for previewing IMO. Especially when shooting 6K, a slight lapse in focus is really obvious once you blow it up.
fire brother

@@mateoallenyou killed it. I’m down here by the seaport. Did you use a monitor or just the Komodo screen?
