What about filtering ? did you use difussion filters in front of the orions ? im asking cause im about to shoot a shortfilm with these and im curious about the character / texture of this lenses. Thanks in advance.
Beyond the masterful technical artistry, this beautiful little film breaks my heart on a level I cannot describe with words. It's ever the cruel fate of the artist's heart to find his love in a muse that cannot be kept.
Andrej, i'm obviously very inspired by the looks you're able to create with your cinematography, but this is your first work as a director that works really well for me. Your other attempts I admire and appreciate the efforts of, but this is a truly good short film.
Thank you, my friend, for your kind words, I really appreciate it. To be honest, I'm not a Director, the actors here were good and kind enough to improvise. I'm not sure if I want to be a director. Nevertheless, I'm glad that you enjoyed it. My goal is to inspire you to create art. :)

This is just incredible. Honestly how can you make footage look so professional and cinematic. And consistent through the each shot. Amazing! Nice work. Did you use any digital diffusion filters ?
I am in awe of your collaborative team. I am nearing my purchase of a RED Komodo. With your series of short films, I am feeling an adrenaline rush of inspiration. I cannot wait to begin filming. In the beginning sequence, when the actress bolted towards the staircase, I was thinking it would have been cool to capture her running up the stairs for at least five steps before the transition. Idk, I’m new at this filmmaking business. I thought I would share my thought about that with you. Regardless, your filmmaking is storytelling at its finest. I could watch your films all day. Luckily I can now that I found your channel. What is your advice for finding actors for an indie filmmaker? Thank you.
Amazing work @ANDBERY. I would love to learn your Colorgrading workflow brother. Do you have any tutorial for that? If no, please do one for beginners like me. Thank you in advacne.
Beautifully done. Is there any chance we'll get some behind the scenes of this? I'm interested to know how long a short film like this takes to make. Thanks for sharing!
Film making at it's finest. Realizing how silence is important in film making. Gosh! Then the scene with light turned off to mean they had sex. common, that is a clean creative way to show they had sex without wasting our time in showing it. This is genius.
Wonderful work! Love the lighting, subtle purposeful camera movement. Anyone thinking they need to upgrade to a Komodo X for image quality may want to take note… because this looks as good as anything out there. I would love to see something with the Mercury series and the DZO Pavo lenses… which I’m curious about. Please keep it up. Your work is a great example and truly inspiring.
Thank you. Do you like how the new Komodo looks? I prefer to work with cinema lenses; I think they're more important than a new cinema camera. And btw, I filmed with DZO, and I didn't like it because the image looked quite sharp and very simple.
There are quite a few videos linked on the RedUser site. The X gains a 1/2 stop in the shadows. They say the ISO performance is also a bit better. The real improvements are in the high frame rates. If you mainly shoot 24p it’s hard to justify the price. I didn’t know you short the DZO Pavo lens. They are still prototypes and under development, so perhaps the sharpness will be tamed in the release version? I have the Mercury on order. Did you try those out yet? For me size/weight is a concern, so the Atlas are out of the question.
@@angryrabbitproductions1690 What about the burning SDI problem, did they fix it? Sorry, I got confused, I worked with 7Artisans once, not DZO. 7Artisans is complete garbage.
Thanks! I used a combination of different lighting schemes, including practical, artificial, and natural lighting. I'm planning to create a making-of video to showcase all the light setups. Stay tuned for more updates :)
Amazing work! Do you mind if I ask what setting you used on the Komodo? I'm assuming 6K 6:5? If so, did. you have to crop in a lot? Image looks very clean, so I'm guessing the 6K resolution does a good job with having to crop in a bit. Of course, I'm assuming this is Atlas Orion's at 2X? Again, beautiful work all around!!
I love it. Every sense the Red K-X arrived on the scene people have been jumping ship. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against the camera or upgrading to. But what you guys have proven is not about which camera is best or better it's about the talent behind it. Condos 2u team for an excellent example of that. 📽️📽️📽️📽️
Why did you render it with these awful black bars instead of render it native 21:9 resolution. It hurts my ultrawide display right now watching this masterpiece. :P
Unfortunately, I don't remember. But I filmed it with full sensor coverage in 6K with 1.5 x of squeeze anamorphic. The original squeeze of Atlas is quite large 2x, I don't use it.
