If you're watching this because you own a TM MTR-16 like me. The outer barrel castle nut is loctited to all hell. It made my life miserable for a couple hours. I had to amazon prime a heat gun for this. It also LOOSENS COUNTER CLOCKWISE!
i don’t like the rail on this gun the bottom section wobbles a little when i have my fore grip on it would it be easy enough to swap it for a 1 piece quad rail ?

It's a castle nut wrench. You can find them on amazon - just type in AR15 buffer tube or barrel wrench.

The inner barrel is brass and very nicely made. Outer barrel seems to be aluminum but I can't see any reason to replace it. Also very nicely made.
