I met the legend using the NHS like the rest of us and he was honestly such a top bloke; he was so understanding and unbelievably nice to my mum who wasn’t well ……. he didn’t even have to be that kind because he was there for himself but he’s just the most genuine bloke and a true legend !! thanks for the photo harry ❤
What a fantastic thing to do one day a week send the players after training to go coach a local school then they play each other. Every club should do this.
Harry is genuinely a really nice guy, I’ve seen him a few times on one of our local golf courses and he talks to everyone. Even at the driving range he will speak to people. His stories are so funny 🤣
Best ever Tottenham manager in my opinion and what ever happened that season was an absolute tragedy. Didn’t end up with England or spurs, no way for a Legend like Harry to go out of the game.
Lovely man and, yes, he should be SIR Harry Redknapp. I always thought Brian Clough was the greatest English manager England never had, but Harry's got to be up there. Top bloke and great interview Gary.
He managed Southend United? Bobby Moore at Southend> Absolute disgrace the way the FA treated him when he retired. Should have been an Ambassador for the nation instead of slogging around in the lower divisions and doing radio commentary for Talksport.
Brian Clough probably takes that title in English football. I like harry but like roy Hodgson he didn't achieve much trophie wise unfortunately. Bobby Robson would be 2nd in English manager reputation after clough. Having said all that paisley is the most successful English manager of all time.
I'm a Forest supporter of nearly 50 years now and Arry has been a permanent fixture The ultimate wheeler dealer Love the bones of him Wish he would've come to Forest 25 years ago and sorted things out cause it was a fucking nightmare for real Long may he continue to enjoy life and make us smile Cheers Arry 😂♥️🏐🥅⚽
I saw Di canio when I was a kid in a testimonial match when he paying for celtic vs utd....he was amazing and stole the show...I remember saying to my mum we should sign him he had Cantona vibes...
One of the best story tellers in the game....even if facts don't match. Harry would have made a great England manager.... if Milan Mandaric hadn't made payments to his bulldog. Great guest, and great episode.
Wonderful funny, erudite, thoroughly decent man. Loved hearing about how Ron Greenwood had them coaching kids in East End schools in the afternoons. What an utterly brilliant move, fantastic for the kids, binding the community to the club, but the real masterstroke was the mental workout it must have given the players' footballing brains
A wonderful epesode with a football legend. I can recommend Harry's autobiography. Loads of great stories and a lot of laughs. Great podcast i cant wait for the next one.
Ther can only be one and it is the Legend who is Harry Rednapp..a real one off genuine football man with a priceless attitude and knowledge of the ''real''game.A real scoop interview for the channel.Done well.Lives on the Sandbanks Riviera and can afford to eat at Rick Stein's ''chippy'' 😈.
What a great listen I’ve been to a couple of “ evenings with Harry” but that was so much in-depth class listen…maybe if the clubs today done what they did at West Ham back then going in the schools it could stop some of this mindless crime! It’s not just managers Harry if we lose us fans won’t speak to the misses on a Saturday either !
I watched that series with Cwm Albion last year and it was great to see that side of football. I'm pretty sure they won 4-3 in that final game, not 3-2 as Harry says, but a great watch nonetheless and I'll be watching the new series too. Hopefully Harry will be back with another ex-England series too "Harry's Heroes".
Many years ago on my birthday I went with some friends to Walthamstow dog track for the evening. We sat at a table and I won on the first three races. A waitress came over with my third winnings and I was studying the form book when someone grabbed me from behind and said "Oi! What are you betting on in the next race mate? I turned round and it was Harry out with his missus and Jamie and his wife. I told him and he put a bet on it. We never won another penny that night but we did have a giggle.
Loved the York/Darlington story most of all. So much with football podcasting is the highs/trophies/wins/goals etc. I love a little lower league story not necessarily related to the football itself
Possibly Harry has always been a loud character But it's a pleasure to listen to his knowledge and stories People and managers like him are a dying breed unfortunately
Harry was a genius in the transfer window di canio is still one of west ham's best signings..... I can only guess for the likes of Wayne and Frank that coaching is the next best thing to playing and you should respect there love of the game it's mad how the best manager's are usually the one's who weren't as big on the field as the Wayne's and frank lampards
Imagine having Brian Clough and Harry redknapp and not chosing to have either of them as your national coach when they both wanted the job badly! The FA only appoint what they can control...
Bless Harry, he is conveniently forgetting the events which unfolded after that Xmas party. Levy helped him with his court whilst Harry got completely distracted by the England job, openly courted it, which derailed the season and dropped us from 2nd to 4th. All the players that were following him, had to answer question after question about losing him to England, and he did nothing to stop it. I get that the England job is a better gig than Spurs. But still, don't edit history to make yourself a victim.

I am so happy Harry said something at the start about the standard for Grassroots! Such a legend and always great to listen to! Well said ‘Arry
Harry is a real throwback to proper football. A dying breed unfortunately and that's why we love him
Are you joking Harry bankrupted Pompey and Bournemouth for his own gain.. check out the facts !!
A Dinosaur..442 football.
What a fantastic thing to do one day a week send the players after training to go coach a local school then they play each other. Every club should do this.
It's criminal that Harry never managed England national team, he would've brought excitement and I believe relativ success
The overlap got Coleen Rooney, The Rest is Football got Harry Redknapp. Levels
One is woke one is genuine football channel
You complain but you still sat through every minute of both the apsides 😂. Clown
@@macurlyfries "apsides"? Pipe down, Brian Cox
Aye, one of them does well in court and the other one crumbles after years of dodgy deals.
Someone commented the same on rios podcast
Paolo D was loved by all fans. Opposition teams and fans respected him, feared him and appreciated him. All geniuses are slightly mad anyway.
Harry is genuinely a really nice guy, I’ve seen him a few times on one of our local golf courses and he talks to everyone. Even at the driving range he will speak to people. His stories are so funny 🤣

Dodgy dealer like Clough as well. Very intelligent dog he had / has.
Harry Redknapps talk about Bobby Moore was the stand out. His real love for that player shone through.
A rolls Royce defender, and man.

@@CARLIN4737 Bobby died in 93. 2 years before Talksport, but I feel your gist and get your vibe nonetheless 👊🏽
Honestly, this pod gets the best guests. Different generations and real characters of the game 👌 looking forward to Harrys stories
unlike other pods that interview the wives of footballers xD
Alan and Gary being in the industry for long time and respected must have a lot of pull. Micah is around fir vibes 😅
Harry has the best stories and he is a brilliant story teller 👍💯
A class act... A national treasure... Everyone loves Harry....
Nope
That hour flew by, Harry's top drawer.
One of my favourite guys in football, worth the wait!
Love listening to Harry , I bet he could tell some stories that are unprintable and unrepeatable,
Regards Davy 🏴🇹🇭
Come on Gary, surely "When Harry met Gary" would have been a better title for this video!
Harry must be the most beloved man in football.
Not really he’s the most biased pundit ever England will always win no matter what and then they don’t

Wasn't sure whether Harry was talking about grass roots or the Scottish league 🤣
Loved that Di Canio impression! You could just imagine him doing that as well.
I could listen to Harry all day. What a guy
Harry is looking healthier now than when he was in management. Good for him.
Who needs MOTD when you have great shows like this
