Not quite. Spiritual Beings in Bleach use Spiritual Energy to "walk on air" the same way that Ninja in Naruto use Chakra. Characters with wings (Byakuya, Toshiro, Ulquiorra, and Gerard Valkyrie) can use them to increase their speed or, in Ulquiorra's case, use them for offence and defence.
No one could do the standing in air or flying until after the soul society arc so it certainly seems like they kind of just added that in randomly because remember ichigo had to use tools to fly.

Krishnakumar kyoka suigetsu isn't even close to as powerful as you think, in a mean of terms it is just like muramasa, does the same exact thing as well as shinji's shikai/bankai(I dont know the name of his)
Krishnakumar the bankai was never released. The most people can do is come up with theories. For what myself and a lot of my friends believe is that Aizen Bankai ability is basically complete and overall control of his opponent. Probably the same conditions as the shikai. As long as said person seen his sword. Tada you will be my slave whenever I want you to be. However, that being said. We all know how Aizen loves getting satisfaction from playing with his opponents. A bankai like this would simply be too boring to him to use. While his shikai gives him all the satisfaction he wants. Because his opponents could also think that the person they are fighting is probably an ally. While the Bankai wouldn't have the person think that. But that's just my theory on Aizen unknown bankai.
So back when I first hit 250 subscribers I made my first top 10, which was also the top 10 bankai in Bleach. I must say my previous Bleach top 10 was trash, and I kept telling myself that as soon as Bleach ended and all the bankai were revealed (at least the ones that were revealed) I would make a new updated top 10 Bankai list. And now that Bleach is over, I figured it was about time I redeemed myself. So I hope this list is better then the last one, Let me know what you guys think! I like how byakuya's bankai is the only bankai that is revealed early in the anime but still be extremely powerful, while most in this list is only revealed later in the last arc, and then "I've just obtained it" or "I've been holding back for the past few arcs because it's not necessary to use it"

Andrei Moisi That's because the original story line was originally changed by a shit ton. It was originally called Snipe. Rukia was the main character. But Shonen Jump was like. Nah man. Change it up by a shit ton then we will allow it. At least Tite Kubo got a lot of good quality animation as well as hiring one of the most famous soundtrack producers in Japan which is something the other mainstream anime's didn't do. They hired average ones to save money.
Gin is such a cool bleach character, he's one of the coolest villains / lone wolfs in anime and his exposition in the anime is one of the most lasting scenes for me in the anime.
Gin is more like an anti-hero or good guy he played the opposite for a chance to catch Aisin off guard to kill him even though he failed yet he is still one of my top five bleach characters
Wolfington it doesnt work like that. if he releases his bankai before the poison takes effect then it is negated, if it alr took effect then they will die even when he deactivates.
I'm not completely sure you understand what absolute zero is. Absolute Zero is the point at which all matter experiences the TOTAL lack of energy, and all atomic and subatomic motion stops.
Tardigrades are animals and they can survive outer space kenpachi might be their relative xD. Absolute zero means all kinetic energy stops nothing can survive that. Rukia's bankai should be at least #2.
@Angelous Mortis Hitsugaya and Yamamoto still clap. Hitsugaya has the range and versatility and Yamamoto's bankai is still wayyyy to powerful man the sun the literal sun(surface anyway)...also last time I checked absolute zero doesn't even come close to to beating a temperature like that.

Rukias bankai is like Yamamotos bankai just in the other end of the spectrum, like yin and yang. If you go in to the science of it Rukias bankai is not ice but the stopping the all vibrational motion of any particles of nature, then anyting that is near will be broken down into molecular level be it zanpakuto or anything living. plus as you said all bankai has abilities but Rukia is just the release of her bankai. Rukia is the only flaw to the bankai, but if she gain control over it then she will be just like Yamamoto an ultimate defense and offense

Also Slowing down how fast particles vibrate....is freezing. Which is ice abilities. Toshiro can do the same. I keep seeing this "Rukias ability isnt ice" the absence of heat inherently means something is cold or cooling.
Ice is frozen water. If Rukia's bankai hits you, you do not become water. a "frozen" wall or blade doesn't freeze, the water on the surface of it does. The Bankai on the other hand stops all molecular motion. atoms don't work. Absolute Zero stops physics, not solidify water molicules.

Her bankai is just an outward extension of her shikai ability which is ice based. Rukia wouldnt be able to stop an ability like Ryujin Jakka or Tobiume.
Actually, absolute zero technique shouldn't be considered powerful for the temperature variation it creates.... but actually it's power is derived from the fact that absolute zero is the point at which ALL movements halt completely.... Not even photons.... absolute zero is a scary concept.... even space isn't that "cold".... if you were to try to use fire against such an ability... that fire needs oxygen to burn, if ALL molecules are frozen in place... they can no longer feed the fire.... absolute zero may well be considered in the top 3..... Just my thoughts, backed by a few facts...
@@samarthbhat1652 I think it's more so that Rukia's bankai is conditionally a counter to his. It's not ice based, it's temperature based, ice is just a byproduct. It instantly reduces the affected area's temperature to absolute zero, meaning that she could in theory activate her bankai AFTER his, turning the heat of the sun into absolute zero, cancelling it. This is, of course, assuming that both bankai do not simply just cancel each other out and that one ability hard counters the other (in the sense that using ability A would halt use of ability B until A's use time ends).
Has anyone EVER thought about Kenpachi's bankai state almost being similar to Might Guy going 8 gates and/or the Kaio-Ken? I mean yes the person who activated the 8th gate would die after using it, Kaio-ken would give the user power and speed increase, but if being overuse would cause the user to be destroyed by the increased power. The I thought this because Kenpachi's physical appearance changed with a red skin or red demon-like aura surrounding him, plus he has overwhelming physical strength and can cause damage to himself.

Wait what? The only reason Kenpachi even got injured was because he wasn't use to the Bankai's power yet. Same thing happen to Ichigo when he first used Bankai. He crushed his own bones with his own spiritual pressure.
it was clearly stated on the manga that kepachi could only last a few seconds because his bankai is too powerful, it should be the strongest bankai here seeing that it could cut transcendental beings like gerard who is definitely the 2nd strongest villain in the series, I don't even think that aizen could beat gerard but kenpachi's bankai could easily cut gerard if he doesn't have a physical limit, he almost had cut his own arm when he used it
Something I realized about Gin being able to 'almost' kill Aizen, if it weren't for the Hogyoku. Sui Feng used her Suzumebachi to try and kill Aizen, but he resisted it by flaring his Spiritual Pressure. Gin killed was able to kill him with a Poison just like Sui Feng tried to, but Aizen didn't, or couldn't, do anything to resist it. Now, admittedly, there are two possibilities for this. Aizen was either too surprised that Gin had kept such an ability secret just to kill him, or, Gin was FAR more powerful than he appeared, and his own Spiritual Pressure was enough to offset Aizen's own, even with the Hogyoku enhancing his power.
The funny thing is, Kenpachi hard counters everything on this list except the top 3. He survived absolute 0 in Shikai (see his fight with Gremmy), he is faster than Gine or Byakuya’s bankai, And has more Reitsu than Shunsui (which is in turn enough to block Mayuri’s poison). Kenpachi’s Bankai itself is just a multiplier but once you consider who is using it it’s truly one of the best Bankai. (And yes Im well aware I’m like, a year late on this)

kenpachi was transported by gremmy into a black hole, a system much harsher than absolute zero, his eyes and organs were popping out, up until he fully utilized and gone crazy and used his shikai nozarashi's power, he cut through the dimension and power and also cut into the meteor, He could beat anyone in this list but the top three also has a chance of beating him, except his bankai, since kenny's bankai only lasts for a few seconds due to its extreme power, his bankai is already proven to be limitless as shown by gremmy and even gerard who needed his holy form after getting beat by kenpchi but he reached his time limit, definitely can kenpachi cut anyone here in bankai form that's if he is in his bankai, I mean his shikai alone is already more powerful than most bankais in the series, kenpachi fought two of the most powerful characters in the series

Your video is EASILY 2 or 3 times longer than it should be. You go over the power, and then immediately repeat yourself (sometimes more than once) talking about the applications. Cut it to 5 to 10 minutes and it is a good video.

I found it rather fun that both of 2 ice users who we were hiped for from the start of the series dont actually use ice at all. Its confirmed that Rukias zanpakuto actually controlls the temperature, while Toshiros controlls the weather. Non of em actually controlls ice itselfe. Unlike yamamotos who literally controlls fire.
39:16 ichibe needs to use ink to paint his enemies in order to use his power. the heat from yamamoto's bankai could simply burn up all of the ink before he could write anything with it.

You do realize that absolute zero by definition prevents all possible movement, even at the molecular level right? By its very nature, absolute zero prevents all possibility of change. Absolutely nothing is capable of movement. Even air becomes entirely solid. Heat through conduction and convection becomes literally impossible, as those require contact with physical matter. Nothing can even get close to an absolute zero zone, it will freeze solid almost instantly. If Rukia is a source that continually lowers the temperature to that degree, then physical limitations of heat transfer make it quite literally impossible for any form of matter or energy to even get close. Put bluntly, the concept of specific heat makes any heat based attack absolutely powerless in the face of absolute zero temperatures.
I understand that but, Yamamoto's bankai literally becomes the sun. That's how powerful that man is. His sword doesn't burn you away anymore, it literally erases you from existence.

Rukia sword controls temperature, it isn't an ice type like hitsugaya. Yamas shikai could negate hitsugaya sword as his sword works by drawing water out of the air which extreme heat would dissipate. Rukias sword lowers temp. It doesn't matter if its too hot or too cold. If her or yama had same lvl of experience, it would be 50-50 whose sword would win out
Did you know... Rukia's Bankai actually freeze even reiatsu or reishi... Which means even extreme heat created from flame produced by any spiritual substance won't have any effect to Rukia anyway...
Not zaraki tho, the dude casually survive being thrown into a black hole and countless other lethal attacks. Plus with his newfound bankai he'll be able to double up his durability.

when he fought with ichigo before the battle concluded Espada 5 showed up to fight seeing grimmjow defeated he felt that he was unworthy of being among the espada and decided to kill him ichigo then defended grimmjow from dying. would recommend looking at season 7.

nope. #2 have to be #1. If what you said is true, being 15,000,000 degrees celsius mean you don't have to even fight. There's no point in trying to hit an enemy with your sword because being that hot means your "enemies" would be roast from just standing a mile away looking at you. Heck if the sun was a little closer to the earth we would all roast, and here we have a guy as hot as the sun, ON the earth. Why is there even bad guys?
yup, and with the vids explanation, ichibb needs to write on the enemy for that to happen, which means 1. he can't get close enough, 2. no moisture means no ink i also think Rukia's bankai beats fire, at absolute zero, no heat can be produced and even the vid said that the high temp fire is produced, meaning it needs to be up to that temp, even if it is done in seconds, if Rukia stops it from getting hotter, that #2 is pretty useless. i thought it might be fun to watch this, but a little disappointed in the lack of research and the overflow of self promotion....
maybe you don't know how science works but heat is created by atoms moving at different levels of energy, absolute zero is the point in which atoms CANNOT move, there will not even be a puff of smoke anywhere near rukia
theres is reason the author used the words "absolute zero", it is a point in temperature that we humans in real life cannot replicate or create. theres also a reason why rukia gets her bankai so late in the story, because it is capable to being so OP, which is why i do agree with that point where he said rukia finally became a captain because she can control her bankai.

List of fighters from this video based off their Bankai's power not their skill with it. My opinion but would like to know what others think. 1. Yamamotou- Earth destroying properties. 2. Gin- Snipes anyone before they can retaliate. Even if they survive the dust will still kill them. 3. Toshiro- Flash freezing without many weaknesses. 4. Byakuya- Can fight at a distance and hold his own in terms of power with that final move. 5. Shunsui- You basically can't hurt him and you die a painful death. 6. Kisuke- Great ability but seems weak against fighters that fight at a distance. 7. Ichibe- Seems like a bad ability that you have to be multiple times stronger than the opponent to get it off. 8. Rukia- Too many weaknesses anda fixed area of effect is too limiting. 9. Mayuri- His Bankai sucks it's just his brains that make it better than it actually is. 10. Kenpachi- Not a useless ability but it gives the user immeasurable power but not the durability.
Yeah i guess he should be higher. But still his ability confuses me. I mean the example given is that he made his opponent as weak as an ant... I mean ants are pretty strong for their size at least. He also loses to Ywach and also gets healed afterwards by Ichigo saying his name. But why didn't he just say his own name to heal. I feel there are limitations to that ability or Kubo just didn't think things through.

guys rukias bankai is absolute zero at absolute zero atoms freeze so there is no thermal energy which mean no heat and no fire and absolute means no change so zero will always be zero no energy so no attack could touch her everything would freeze including fire so she could walk on the sun and not get burn

His placement might be right, but he was completely wrong about how he explained it. People are correcting the weakness in his analysis not fanboying over Rukia. Rukia and Toshiro's zanpakuto are different, they don't work the same and he was comparing them like they do. Yamamoto's bankai isn't a weakness to Rukia's bankai, it's just a weakness to Rukia because she'd probably be obliterated upon release. But if the two were at similar levels of power, Rukia's bankai could theoretically counter Yamamoto's (and vice versa I guess depending on who used it first). We also don't know a whole lot about Rukia's bankai. Perhaps after a thousand years+ years perfecting it she would be pretty formidable. The power of her release puts her on the list, that says a lot regardless of the many apparent weaknesses.

Lmao some of you guys are extra dense. You can't reach absolute zero if there is even the slightest bit of heat. That is why humanity has not been able to create the conditions necessary to reach it. Absolute zero has not even been discovered in the coldest depths of space that we have been able to explore. Literaly And transforming herself in ice against the guy who controls ice is a great idea. The range of her attack is also very small. Yamamoto could destroy an entire planet. Byakuya could affect a larger zone than her and hitsugaya as a child in shikai could freeze seven miles. Stop fanboying and say she is the most powerful captain. Far from it

toshiro's hyorinmaru is the strongest ice type bankai. So if yamamoto can render his abilities useless, there is no way sode no shirayuki or hakka no tagame will be able to act then. Also Bazz B is a big weakness to rukia, his flames were unbelievably strong. Plus while she gets a field of attack, she herself cant move much, so if one can resist cold for sometime, he/she can bypass the effect of her bankai.
Good list, surprising no. 1. Only annoyance was your propensity to repeat yourself, you can notice it in Hitsugaya and Yamamoto's entries. Tighten it up, bro, and your videos will surely reach the next level!

I like the points you have with the differences between Rukia and Toshiro. While it has been stated that Hyorinmaru is the strongest ice based zanpakūto, Rukia's seems to outrank Toshiro's in one way. However, with who Toshiro is and his zangpakūto, there is a chance that Toshiro could survive absolute zero. If so, that instantly makes him an immediate threat to Rukia, who cannot move due to the fact she could shatter. All it would take is hitting her with something and you win.

Ink? Yamatos banki burns the MOISTURE IN THE AIR! There is no ink that will touch him. Rukia's banki freezes anything near her. Byakuya's banki protects and attacks simultaneously. Plus, what if the opponent is faster than the old monk? Seriously, it's a cool ability, but I wouldn't say the guy's banki is number 1.
In terms of Shuswi, he can't turn off his banki once activated and yes. It will kill him, same as his shiki. That's why he almost never fights because he has a literal double edged sword.

the thing with the bankai of gin, he CAN extend it to a few miles super fast, but it doesn't bend, or act as a sort of shield at all, so if someone was able to say, flash step in just the right way where he wouldn't notice, or create a clone *cough cough* to get past him when he is using the technique, that would leave him very vulnerable, while only for a split second.

Not quite. Spiritual Beings in Bleach use Spiritual Energy to "walk on air" the same way that Ninja in Naruto use Chakra. Characters with wings (Byakuya, Toshiro, Ulquiorra, and Gerard Valkyrie) can use them to increase their speed or, in Ulquiorra's case, use them for offence and defence.
No one could do the standing in air or flying until after the soul society arc so it certainly seems like they kind of just added that in randomly because remember ichigo had to use tools to fly.

Krishnakumar the bankai was never released. The most people can do is come up with theories. For what myself and a lot of my friends believe is that Aizen Bankai ability is basically complete and overall control of his opponent. Probably the same conditions as the shikai. As long as said person seen his sword. Tada you will be my slave whenever I want you to be. However, that being said. We all know how Aizen loves getting satisfaction from playing with his opponents. A bankai like this would simply be too boring to him to use. While his shikai gives him all the satisfaction he wants. Because his opponents could also think that the person they are fighting is probably an ally. While the Bankai wouldn't have the person think that. But that's just my theory on Aizen unknown bankai.
The original design of aizens bankai is to control the seventh sense since his shikai was to control the six scenes

So back when I first hit 250 subscribers I made my first top 10, which was also the top 10 bankai in Bleach.
I must say my previous Bleach top 10 was trash, and I kept telling myself that as soon as Bleach ended and all the bankai were revealed (at least the ones that were revealed) I would make a new updated top 10 Bankai list. And now that Bleach is over, I figured it was about time I redeemed myself. So I hope this list is better then the last one, Let me know what you guys think! On top of that while I analyze and compare the bankai I need to restate things I've already stated.
I'll work on not repeating myself near as much for the future, but it is something that is bound to happen in these videos regardless because of the format I use.

Gin is such a cool bleach character, he's one of the coolest villains / lone wolfs in anime and his exposition in the anime is one of the most lasting scenes for me in the anime.

I'm not completely sure you understand what absolute zero is. Absolute Zero is the point at which all matter experiences the TOTAL lack of energy, and all atomic and subatomic motion stops.

@@samarthbhat1652 I think it's more so that Rukia's bankai is conditionally a counter to his. It's not ice based, it's temperature based, ice is just a byproduct. It instantly reduces the affected area's temperature to absolute zero, meaning that she could in theory activate her bankai AFTER his, turning the heat of the sun into absolute zero, cancelling it. This is, of course, assuming that both bankai do not simply just cancel each other out and that one ability hard counters the other (in the sense that using ability A would halt use of ability B until A's use time ends).

Something I realized about Gin being able to 'almost' kill Aizen, if it weren't for the Hogyoku. Sui Feng used her Suzumebachi to try and kill Aizen, but he resisted it by flaring his Spiritual Pressure. Gin killed was able to kill him with a Poison just like Sui Feng tried to, but Aizen didn't, or couldn't, do anything to resist it. Now, admittedly, there are two possibilities for this. Aizen was either too surprised that Gin had kept such an ability secret just to kill him, or, Gin was FAR more powerful than he appeared, and his own Spiritual Pressure was enough to offset Aizen's own, even with the Hogyoku enhancing his power.

The funny thing is, Kenpachi hard counters everything on this list except the top 3. He survived absolute 0 in Shikai (see his fight with Gremmy), he is faster than Gine or Byakuya’s bankai, And has more Reitsu than Shunsui (which is in turn enough to block Mayuri’s poison). Kenpachi’s Bankai itself is just a multiplier but once you consider who is using it it’s truly one of the best Bankai. (And yes Im well aware I’m like, a year late on this)

I found it rather fun that both of 2 ice users who we were hiped for from the start of the series dont actually use ice at all. Its confirmed that Rukias zanpakuto actually controlls the temperature, while Toshiros controlls the weather. Non of em actually controlls ice itselfe. Unlike yamamotos who literally controlls fire.

You do realize that absolute zero by definition prevents all possible movement, even at the molecular level right? By its very nature, absolute zero prevents all possibility of change. Absolutely nothing is capable of movement. Even air becomes entirely solid. Heat through conduction and convection becomes literally impossible, as those require contact with physical matter. Nothing can even get close to an absolute zero zone, it will freeze solid almost instantly. If Rukia is a source that continually lowers the temperature to that degree, then physical limitations of heat transfer make it quite literally impossible for any form of matter or energy to even get close. Put bluntly, the concept of specific heat makes any heat based attack absolutely powerless in the face of absolute zero temperatures.

Rukia sword controls temperature, it isn't an ice type like hitsugaya. Yamas shikai could negate hitsugaya sword as his sword works by drawing water out of the air which extreme heat would dissipate. Rukias sword lowers temp. It doesn't matter if its too hot or too cold. If her or yama had same lvl of experience, it would be 50-50 whose sword would win out

There's no point in trying to hit an enemy with your sword because being that hot means your "enemies" would be roast from just standing a mile away looking at you. maybe you don't know how science works but heat is created by atoms moving at different levels of energy, absolute zero is the point in which atoms CANNOT move, there will not even be a puff of smoke anywhere near rukia

List of fighters from this video based off their Bankai's power not their skill with it. My opinion but would like to know what others think.
1. Yamamotou- Earth destroying properties.
2. Gin- Snipes anyone before they can retaliate. Even if they survive the dust will still kill them.
3. Toshiro- Flash freezing without many weaknesses.
4. Byakuya- Can fight at a distance and hold his own in terms of power with that final move.
5. Shunsui- You basically can't hurt him and you die a painful death.
6. Kisuke- Great ability but seems weak against fighters that fight at a distance.
7. Ichibe- Seems like a bad ability that you have to be multiple times stronger than the opponent to get it off.
8. Rukia- Too many weaknesses anda fixed area of effect is too limiting.
9. Mayuri- His Bankai sucks it's just his brains that make it better than it actually is.
10. Kenpachi- Not a useless ability but it gives the user immeasurable power but not the durability.

His placement might be right, but he was completely wrong about how he explained it. People are correcting the weakness in his analysis not fanboying over Rukia. Rukia and Toshiro's zanpakuto are different, they don't work the same and he was comparing them like they do. Yamamoto's bankai isn't a weakness to Rukia's bankai, it's just a weakness to Rukia because she'd probably be obliterated upon release. But if the two were at similar levels of power, Rukia's bankai could theoretically counter Yamamoto's (and vice versa I guess depending on who used it first). We also don't know a whole lot about Rukia's bankai. Perhaps after a thousand years+ years perfecting it she would be pretty formidable. The power of her release puts her on the list, that says a lot regardless of the many apparent weaknesses.

Absolute zero has not even been discovered in the coldest depths of space that we have been able to explore. Taking this into Bleach terms, while Rukia can force absolute zero with reiatsu a superior reiatsu (especially one heat or energy related) is an instant counter to her powers. Absolute zero might be the coldest temp possible, but it only goes to -273. Heat has no upward limit in temerature.

toshiro's hyorinmaru is the strongest ice type bankai. So if yamamoto can render his abilities useless, there is no way sode no shirayuki or hakka no tagame will be able to act then. Also Bazz B is a big weakness to rukia, his flames were unbelievably strong. Plus while she gets a field of attack, she herself cant move much, so if one can resist cold for sometime, he/she can bypass the effect of her bankai.

There is really no difference at all and when compared to characters like Urahara who's bankai is just crazy in comparison to his shikai, that was the point i was trying to make. I 100% agree with your #1 pick. Being in control of everything that's black. To be able to change the name of your opponent into anything you want, is definitely op. There are millions of organic and inorganic, *weak* and *powerless* things in the world. Just name them "kitten", and it's a wrap.
So I don't see how it's even possible to lose against anyone. I don't know wtf happened when he fought JB. I guess the writer just couldn't think of anything more clever to show how the monk could be defeated. Regardless, his bankai is the best, imo.

I like the points you have with the differences between Rukia and Toshiro. While it has been stated that Hyorinmaru is the strongest ice based zanpakūto, Rukia's seems to outrank Toshiro's in one way. However, with who Toshiro is and his zangpakūto, there is a chance that Toshiro could survive absolute zero. If so, that instantly makes him an immediate threat to Rukia, who cannot move due to the fact she could shatter. All it would take is hitting her with something and you win.

In terms of Shuswi, he can't turn off his banki once activated and yes. It will kill him, same as his shiki. That's why he almost never fights because he has a literal double edged sword.

i don't know if you really know what "absolute zero" is.... but, short story (and sorry for my bad english^^) it just means absolute destruction. Nothing -even 15 billion degrees f/c- can beat it. It's simply pointless. Besides some massives numbers like for a super nova or something similar, nothing can compete with absolute zero. It's simply the absolute state of nothingness.
So, if Kuchiki's Bankai is to freeze to absolute zero... fighting her is much too risky...

the thing with the bankai of gin, he CAN extend it to a few miles super fast, but it doesn't bend, or act as a sort of shield at all, so if someone was able to say, flash step in just the right way where he wouldn't notice, or create a clone *cough cough* to get past him when he is using the technique, that would leave him very vulnerable, while only for a split second.
