Also, on the topic of Rinnegan possessing Mangekyo Sharingan abilities... I believe they can. If you look in Sasuke's case, Amaterasu is the ability of his left eye, while kagatsuchi, or flame control, is the ability of his right. In his fight vs Kaguya, specifically the scene where She first brought him and Naruto to the ice dimension, in order to break out, Sasuke uses Amaterasu with his Rinnegan, and then flame control with his EMS in order to form the flames into blades and cut himself out.

Y'know, I think the Byakugan gets a very bad rep from fans. Its not as good as the others, true, but they are still FAR superior to normal human eyes. The ability to zoom in, see through walls, see 360 degrees and scan chakra points would put you so far ahead of any ordinary ninja in this world that its laughable. Its also heavily implied during the Chunin Exam arc to be at least equal to the Sharingan in terms of reading your enemy's movements. Its an awesome ability - its just not as awesome as other awesome abilities.

I’m sad kimimaro’s kekei genkai was 10th. I think if he had more time to show off, we could have saw how much potential that kekei genkai had. If he had been a main antagonist (and not be sick) he could have been a big part of the story. Also if u and ur brother both have mangekyo sharingan, can’t u just switch eyes?
In my opinion one character is not enough to fully show a kekkei genkai. As you can notice the top spots we got EMG, Rinnegan, Wood Release - all with multiple users or (core charecters) that use the ability in their unique way and show how diverse the kekkei genkai actually is - EMG ( Sasuke & Madara) Wood Release (Yamato, Obito, Madara & ofc Hashirama) and Rinnegan (Sasuke, Madara, the Otsutsuki clan and Nagato). Soo more screentime for Kimimaro (or Juugo is valid example too) won't help much. But that, of course, is just how I see things.
Too bad the Kaguya clan became extinct. Bones as hard and harder than steel that can be grew anyway you wanted out of ur body. I would be a walking juggernaut just covered in bone armor and be unbeatable by normal means

Wood release can build a city instantly instead of destroying a city with a single attack, i think that wood release should atleast be #2 . Konoha gets destroyed a couple of times, using Yamato for his carpenter skills and rebuild houses instantly it will boost the morale of the ppl in the village.. I get the sharingan is so beloved for what it can do but I personally liked the look of the basic buykugan the most..always have...it just looks cool..could do without the veins though but still..rinegan looks cool especially sasukes with his black sharingan tamoe but I still have to go with the white eye cause there is no pupil and that just looks cool to me..i know people think its weird but to me its awesome.....the black lines in the rinnegan make me upset..
Wood release isnt strong at all. Its seems very powerful just because Hashirama is so OP he makes every jutsu OP. Yamato for example isnt really strong though he possess wood release.

Wood can suppress and/or absorb chakra, create an entire forest, homes buildings, tank a TBB, subdue a tailed beast, etc. No matter who's using those are universal to the element, as for Yamato he was a member of ANBU Root, clashed and tied with Kakashi multiple times when they were young and is able to suppress at least 4 tail cloaked jinchuriki. Also, other users of wood release are Madara and Obito both of whom displayed its usefulness.

What comes to forests and tanking TBB.. these things can do only madara and hashirama due to their tremendous power. By following your logic I can say that the fire ball jutsu is super overpowered cause it took tenth of ninjas water style to counter madara's technique even though water is stronger than fire. But we both know that it's basic jutsu and only madara makes it OP. The same thing is with wood style.

Based on what we have seen wood is viable when in the right hands.
Over use of the Mangekyō Sharingan can cause blindness over time, but this can be negated by transplanting another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from a close relative, such as a sibling, to acquire "eternal" Mangekyō that never lose their sight. That's is what saved madara. Hashirama's helped him to unlock his rinnegan
but it isn't fully written by kishi or his staff..they just did designs and gave an outline for the basic story like the scarf playing a major role cause his wife once knit him a scarf so he wanted that in the love story...its mostly studio perrot making whatever they want but yeah it is canon obviously but the tenseigan may not be cause we have no idea if kishi even knew that was gonna be in the film ...its basically a filler movie with a canon ending..lets put it that way...to be fair sasuke somehow turned off the rinnegan in that film and it makes no sense so that was an error they allowed in a canon film..

The mangekyo sharingan would cause blindness when used to much, however if you implanted two other sharingans (like sasuke and madara did) then you could basically spam them, the hashirama cells do have healing properties but they were the key to unlocking the rinnegan. And the Uchias arent cold hearted, it is because they care so much, that when losing someone they care about, they fall in some sort of darkness, but all in all the sharingans are pretty op
Who killed their friend to get the mangekyo. Obito saw Rin die. Itachi saw Shushi die. Madara and his brother saw their younger brother die. The MS is bad because you go blind therefore the MS is worse than the sharingan. That logic doesn't really make sense. You could always just not wastefully use the MS's abilities. The MS is better, because depending on who you might end up fighting you may need the MS's abilities to survive. Claiming that the sharingan is better than the MS is the same thing as claiming that being dead is better than being blind.
THANK YOU for realizing Kimmimaru's kekki genki was underrated! Also, why wasnt Orochimaru ever interested in Neji? I feel like it would've put some well needed light on the Hyuuga Clan. And who doesn't wanna see Sasuke feel some type of way if Orochimsru chose Neji over Sasuke
Because Orochimaru wants to learn all Justus and moves which the sharingan would help him with , while byagukan is still great , it won't help him achieve his goal.
A few things: You do not gain any of the other person’s Mangekyo abilities whenever you implant their Mangekyo for your own Mangekyo. Of course Sasuke can still use all MS/EMS abilities with his left eye. That’s why it has 6 Tomoe. Also, it seems you are not familiar with what I’m about to say, so please read carefully! Each individual MS/EMS eye has its own ability. Sasuke’s left MS/EMS casts the amaterasu. Sasuke’s right MS/EMS shapes the amaterasu any way he wants. Itachi’s left MS also casts the amaterasu. Itachi’s right MS allows him to use tsukuyomi. If sasuke’s rinnegan didn’t have it’s Mangekyo abilities, he wouldn’t even be able to cast Amaterasu at all. We saw Madara use susanoo after both eyes switched to rinnegan when he absorbed naruto’s rasenshuriken. So yes madara can use his other mangekyo abilities as well because he is the one who unlocked the rinnegan. Nagato couldn’t use any Sharingan/MS/EMS abilities because madara’s eyes were implanted into him when they were rinnegan. 17:23 tenseigan is to byakugan as rinnegan is to sharingan. Whereas you said tenseigan is to byakugan as mangekyo is to sharingan. Byakugan just doesn’t have an equivalent middle stage comparable to mangekyo.
marcus Williams Sasuke didn’t have perfect susanoo until after he got rinnegan. Now, it’s possible he had perfect susanoo before he got rinnegan, but just didn’t use it because madara DID have perfect susanoo with only EMS. Regardless of all this, there is no entirely new ability gained. Perhaps just an improved susanoo.
Even though it's a filler, I still find guren's crystal kekkei genkai. Also I low key hoped you wouldn't include dojutsu cause it's like eyeball power not really using chakra elements

In part 1 kakashi defines Kekkei Genkai as bloodline jutsu like sharingan and Byakugan, but after the time skip they stop calling them Kekkei Genkai and refer to sharingan as doujutsu, and the term Kekkei Genkai is later defined as the combination of 2 nature types in a single jutsu.
okay firstly, the EMS doesn't grant you the powers of the person who had his eyes taken, secondly, the a rinnegan user can't use his ms abilties but he can in fact do so if he possess the tomoe version, so someone like sasuke and lastly, merry christmas

If you can remember the fact that you need 2mangekyo sharingan to activate full body susanoo or to even use susanoo. (Reference : Sasuke vs Naruto) By this I mean you can use mangekyo abilities with rinnegan eye
To back my previous comment, the reason why Obito was not able to use susanoo was cause he didn't have 2 mangekyo sharingan and he didn't bother to use it after when he turned into the jinchuriki of 10 tails, I mean why would he when he's got all that power. To answer your question on the rinnegan using sharingan abilities they can. If you watch madara he was using ms against naruto until naruto threw the rasen shuriken at him then he went to his rinnegan eyes and he used them until he became human again and they burned out. While he fought the kage using susanoo his rinnegan was active.
Shikotsumyaku would be my first. Only the ability makes you kage level (try to survive a sea of hard density bones with someone that teleports between them). Ok, after watching the video y have changed my mind. 9. Juggo is pretty op, but it's shown that he had nothing to do against kimimaro (probably because kimimaro was stronger) but... I still think bone wins. 8. I think scorch would not penetrate bone armour, they would probably destroy it, but kimimaro can build it again. Bone has far more utility. 7. Byakugan can't be used to seal chakra points due to bone armour, but I think they would tie at taijutsu skill. Basically a byakugan user has no way to harm a bone user. 6. I don't really know who would win. Microexplosions and great explosions would work well but I think bone could easily tank de medium size. (Deidara wins against bone, the other one... Not so much). 5. So... From lava release upwards I have nothing to say. All of the following abilities are very op. That's it, for me shikotsumyaku wins the 6th spot. (Without counting the kaguya version that could destroy things at celular level)

Y'know, I think the Byakugan gets a very bad rep from fans. Its not as good as the others, true, but they are still FAR superior to normal human eyes. The ability to zoom in, see through walls, see 360 degrees and scan chakra points would put you so far ahead of any ordinary ninja in this world that its laughable. Its also heavily implied during the Chunin Exam arc to be at least equal to the Sharingan in terms of reading your enemy's movements. Its an awesome ability - its just not as awesome as other awesome abilities.

In my opinion one character is not enough to fully show a kekkei genkai. As you can notice the top spots we got EMG, Rinnegan, Wood Release - all with multiple users or (core charecters) that use the ability in their unique way and show how diverse the kekkei genkai actually is - EMG ( Sasuke & Madara) Wood Release (Yamato, Obito, Madara & ofc Hashirama) and Rinnegan (Sasuke, Madara, the Otsutsuki clan and Nagato). Soo more screentime for Kimimaro (or Juugo is valid example too) won't help much. But that, of course, is just how I see things.

Wood can suppress and/or absorb chakra, create an entire forest, homes buildings, tank a TBB, subdue a tailed beast, etc. No matter who's using those are universal to the element, as for Yamato he was a member of ANBU Root, clashed and tied with Kakashi multiple times when they were young and is able to suppress at least 4 tail cloaked jinchuriki. Also, other users of wood release are Madara and Obito both of whom displayed its usefulness.

Based on what we have seen wood is viable when in the right hands.

Over use of the Mangekyō Sharingan can cause blindness over time, but this can be negated by transplanting another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from a close relative, such as a sibling, to acquire "eternal" Mangekyō that never lose their sight. That's is what saved madara. Hashirama's helped him to unlock his rinnegan

the rinnegan disables the previous mangekyo powers (except for the Susano) while active but gives along with the 6 paths technique and the outer path gives a special ability exclusive to that person for example Madara's limbo clones, Sasuke's ability to switch places with objects and Momoshikis ability to take in and fire back out ninjutsu, Sasuke's rinnegan is special because it was given to him by the sage of 6 paths indicated by the tomoe and that he can turn it off, he also retains the ability to use Amaterasu

The mangekyo sharingan would cause blindness when used to much, however if you implanted two other sharingans (like sasuke and madara did) then you could basically spam them, the hashirama cells do have healing properties but they were the key to unlocking the rinnegan. And the Uchias arent cold hearted, it is because they care so much, that when losing someone they care about, they fall in some sort of darkness, but all in all the sharingans are pretty op

The MS is bad because you go blind therefore the MS is worse than the sharingan. That logic doesn't really make sense. You could always just not wastefully use the MS's abilities. The MS is better, because depending on who you might end up fighting you may need the MS's abilities to survive. Claiming that the sharingan is better than the MS is the same thing as claiming that being dead is better than being blind.

You do not gain any of the other person’s Mangekyo abilities whenever you implant their Mangekyo for your own Mangekyo.
Of course Sasuke can still use all MS/EMS abilities with his left eye. That’s why it has 6 Tomoe. Also, it seems you are not familiar with what I’m about to say, so please read carefully! Each individual MS/EMS eye has its own ability. Sasuke’s left MS/EMS casts the amaterasu. Sasuke’s right MS/EMS shapes the amaterasu any way he wants. Itachi’s left MS also casts the amaterasu. Itachi’s right MS allows him to use tsukuyomi. If sasuke’s rinnegan didn’t have it’s Mangekyo abilities, he wouldn’t even be able to cast Amaterasu at all.
We saw Madara use susanoo after both eyes switched to rinnegan when he absorbed naruto’s rasenshuriken. So yes madara can use his other mangekyo abilities as well because he is the one who unlocked the rinnegan. Nagato couldn’t use any Sharingan/MS/EMS abilities because madara’s eyes were implanted into him when they were rinnegan.

If you can remember the fact that you need 2mangekyo sharingan to activate full body susanoo or to even use susanoo.
(Reference : Sasuke vs Naruto) By this I mean you can use mangekyo abilities with rinnegan eye
To back my previous comment, the reason why Obito was not able to use susanoo was cause he didn't have 2 mangekyo sharingan and he didn't bother to use it after when he turned into the jinchuriki of 10 tails, I mean why would he when he's got all that power.

To answer your question on the rinnegan using sharingan abilities they can. If you watch madara he was using ms against naruto until naruto threw the rasen shuriken at him then he went to his rinnegan eyes and he used them until he became human again and they burned out. While he fought the kage using susanoo his rinnegan was active.
Shikotsumyaku would be my first. Only the ability makes you kage level (try to survive a sea of hard density bones with someone that teleports between them).

9. Juggo is pretty op, but it's shown that he had nothing to do against kimimaro (probably because kimimaro was stronger) but... I still think bone wins.
8. I think scorch would not penetrate bone armour, they would probably destroy it, but kimimaro can build it again. Bone has far more utility.
7. Byakugan can't be used to seal chakra points due to bone armour, but I think they would tie at taijutsu skill. Basically a byakugan user has no way to harm a bone user.
6. I don't really know who would win. Microexplosions and great explosions would work well but I think bone could easily tank de medium size. (Deidara wins against bone, the other one... Not so much).
5. So... From lava release upwards I have nothing to say. All of the following abilities are very op.
