2Spooky for number 9 what is given to someone with cp9 powers could they then mark someone then use the power to launch a Tempest kick at them from any location or perhaps if someone was smart enough they could learn to use the Devil Fruit to fire water or air at the mart Target. The Devil Fruit user could launch a ship full of Captain or higher level Fighters anywhere in the world

For number 1if bakugou from my hero academia had this devil fruit he could essentially fly by causing explosions from his feet like he already is close to doing instead of just using his hands for explosions he could use his legs as well I really hope Oda can find a way to bring the devil fruit back in far far more capable hands
Furthermore i have to add: The possibilities are quite good for the weilder, cause whowever weilds the sword has no downside in swimming. He can easyli take the sword with himself on a trip or wathever because a sword cannot really drown and the weilder doesn´t have to fear it.
Actually, Usopp did defeat Perona, his Sogeking mask fell off not long after he put it on. Don't woosh me, I'm not dumb. I am kinda playing along with the original comment anyway by pointing out that the Sogeking mask DID fall off meaning Sogeking didn't defeat Perona.

Darkness King I was so happy to hear that I'm not the only one completely bamboozled by the fact that the foxy arc exists. To this day, whenever I hear anything related to it, ERROR 404 happened and I just go "Th- that happened..?" The only good thing to come out of it is Luffy's eventual reaction to Hancock's Mero Mero Beam.
It was a waste of an arc cause it never left an impact on anything and was just a waste of time caude they never ever bring the chatacters up again through the series
As far as I know the very first Foxy arc with Afro luffy is the only one that's canon (cause it introduces Aokiji too, I think). The rest are completely filler.
i feel like Oda knows the fruit is wasted on Kanjuro. it seems like his inability to draw is used for comedy. almost like Kanjuro is a parody of characters like Sai from Naruto. maybe Oda saw Sai in action and was like "that's pretty cool, but what would it be like if the user sucked at drawing?"
Funnily enough, I was contemplating Mr. 5's devil fruit the other day. This man could drop a piece of hair or some snot in a place and detonate it once he leaves. He has the potential to be a great assassin.
OK, my issue with that is that you now have to beat someone to the toilet, poop in there first, don't flush, wait and watch for them to use that toilet, then hope they don't get creeped out by you, or if you're sufficiently hidden they don't immediatetly back off when they see a log in the bowl.
To solve your loophole- in the next stall, since your impervious to explosions. Or explosive piss. Why not? It goes into the next stall, blows up their legs.
For me I think it would be used very effectively if used with a martial art of some kind, imagine if every punch, kick, headbutt, etc a person uses giving off an explosion equal to a stick of TNT, while not game breaking strong it would be an amazing weapon for a skill fighter. And here is a scary thought it was shown that even the user's breath is explosive, imagine them blowing some air into a persons body for example through a kiss, if he timed it right he could maybe hit their lungs directly with an explosion.

Perona used her Devil Fruit extremely well. The Monster Trio and Franky got packed up quickly. No one could have predicted that Usopp was the only Straw Hat who was so used to operating in a state of self-loathing that he was not only immune to her fruit, but was able still fight in that state.
If I could make my own list I'd have (in no particular order): 1. Doflamingo 2. Luffy 3. Ivankov 4. Caesar 5. Mr. 5 (despite how weak he is, he can weaponize his breath which is pretty badass) 6. Chopper 7. Enel (utilizes radiowaves to boost observation haki) 8. Law 9. Blackbeard 10. Gecko Moria (although he's lazy, he has many applications to his fruit. And given that he isn't a typical combatant, he relies on trickery and the nature of his df as support) I probably missed a few but who would you say? Edit: I'd put Mr. 3 over Mr. 5. His df and his usage of it is way more versatile and useful

A man smart enough to combine technology to amplify his power (via the Maxim Ark).....manipulating metal to create a weapon (trident) to stab Luffy when his power wasn't working or just stalling Luffy completely by wrapping gold around his arm.....resuscitating his own heart after Wyper blasted him with a reject dial..... Dude is an extremely shrewd devil fruit user. He's not like Kizaru who just uses it for destructive capacity
well aside from luffy i feel like brook and robin's devil fruits are also under used. the hana hana no mi can literally kill every single one of the enemies the straw hats have gotten so far. literally just spawn arms and hands inside their stomach and blow them up from the inside. robin can literally fill some ones mouse with nails cutting their touch killing them instantly. she can also spawn arms and legs from the enemies eyes and ears blinding them deafing them and also muting them killing them easily.. if she knew haki she could literally kill all 3 admirals at once with this
I also think that Perona is wayyyyyyyy underrated. Imagine that, you have a power that can yield anyone (except Ussopp) completely wasted and weak. You cannot protect from it because they are ghosts, they can go through any shield, wall, barrier, and they cannot be attacked. You can take down even the yonkos with that. Kanjuro's power is another one really misused. You can draw an entire army, weapons, monsters, WHATEVER in this world. And all that he can draw are awful cartoons.
She lack tactical and imagination to use that fruit on an epic scale...let me demonstrate by asking you this question what is the maximum size, speed and explosive force she could conjure up her hollow... A true master of his fruit can go blow to blow with a Yonko...if they actually bother to study the limit of the fruit
Nope. Haki nullify her fruit. Also such powers usually don't work on people with high will power / spirit, so when difference is as big as with Perona and Yonkou they would just sneeze these ghosts away pretty much.
What if a decent Haki user coat ther ghost with Haki and threw at least hundreds of ghost the size of Pica on someone like Sengoku. Sengoku would likely pull out a win but you can't deny that it will be hell of a fight

Honestly I think with the advent of Blackbeard's crew hunting rare devil fruits there could be a high chance we'll see some of these used again. It really makes it exciting to see which ones will make a comeback
Might be controversial, but I'd say one of the most underused fruits is Robin's one. I mean, she should be able to instantly restrain any opponent by locking their vision earing and all of there articulations. Plus, since she can control the size of the body parts she spawns, she has access to has much strength as she needs whenever she wants. Also, what would happen if she spawned a giant mouth right under an opponent's feet and swallowed them? Or spawned a hand inside their mouth, stopping them from breathing? Yet, I feel like her powers are consistently underutilised to not have her crush opponents meant for other crewmembers to beat...
because she doesn't want to kill or hurt (if needed) but she wanted to read and search also the end of grand line, i know se can beat Luffy but, it wasn't her character

With the Mark Mark fruit, Vander actually can throw people since he was shown throwing pirates at the Princess as a way to get them through the castle defense.
Its possible that what he was "touching" was the clothes, not the actual bodies, because if its organic material its considered as a Mark, not an object, but if he touches the clothes hes touching an object, not a mark
you forget about Blueno's doa doa no mi, he can litterly escape anything and imagine if he was on the side of luffy in the marineford war? he would just have walked to ace opened a door en grabbed him. thats it no war, no deaths nothing.. also imagine working together with him? he could summon doors for everyone making fighting him almost impossible. and who knows how strong his power could have grown? what if he might open a door and put people in prisons on other dimensions??? if you ask me its the most underrated ever

I would have also taken buggy in this list, Oda said he has one of the strongest devil fruits in one piece, but yet buggy's so weak. Otherwise, I agree with this list, at most with Foxy.
FUCKING BUGGY YES! He is immune to slashes, even haki(slashed by mihawk, who always uses haki) Can split indefinitely, enter lungs of victims, materialize and destroy a person from the inside. He is only bound by a certain range, all body-parts must be within range or he cannot control them, defined by where his feet touch the ground. but he can split his feet with a one atom layer laying on the ground, the rest float. Have a minion carry the feet slizes around, killer fog. Buggy is basically unkillable if he learns haki as then his body-fog cannot be burned by logia type fruits.
I 100% agree Buggy's Bara Bara no Mi (split split fruit) is a potentially super powerful Devil's fruit being absolutely wasted in his hands. Buggy is not very smart, but he is incredibly lucky. The Devil's fruit was given to him by The Pirate King Gol D Rodger. He was going to sell it, because he's not smart; but Shanks made him swallow it because he's lucky. Shanks took the Gomu Gomu no Mi, so it's likely equivalent or better in terms of power/usefulness. If Buggy could learn CoO Haki, he'd be untouchable to all but AoE powers like fire, magma etc. If he learns to awaken the fruit, he could possibly even replace the Buggy Bomb with "Atomic Split".
Mihawk actually didn't use haki as buggy said "Are you crazy? If you would've used Haki, I would be dead!" or something along those lines also I don't think he's that stupid. It takes a little brain power to control your body parts individually like that and restructuring them like he does verey so often, like making a knife boomerang out of his legs. also he hides blades and tiny bombs in his body which is a pretty smart move

I think that if Deidera had the Art Art fruit, he wouldn't make people explode. His form of art wasn't explosions, but rather the crafting *of* explosions, i.e. the clay. The explosion was just the end result. I guess, in that instance, if he had that fruit, he would transmogrify people into clay objects/statues which he could *then* blow up. I think the Art Art fruit has to change a thing/person into an art medium (which can technically be anything) and then display them. So if someone thought skeletons were true art (you'd need to explain that one), the victim would be changed into bones BUT still retain sentience and some movement. You'd have to conjure up a specific example of philosophy to try to game this fruit, which I think is the balancing factor of it. A person's interpretation of art will lock-in the capabilities of this fruit upon eating it. A person who has no appreciation for art likely wouldn't be able to use the fruit at all (or perhaps it would drain aesthetic from things?) or a person who thinks machines are truly artful likely would be able to mechanize things (and this is a thing! There are people out there obsessed with machines, metallic moving parts!) while others would see anthro furry people as true art. In the hands of Sanji, would he turn people into ingredients and be able to cook them!? Or would would he just turn guys into women and women into busty nude women? ...so yeah, I definitely agree with you. This fruit could likely have some weird or amazingly varied effects in the hands of someone else.
Imagine the serial killer from psycho pass's interpretation of art. Without devil fruit powers he was able to murder gis victims and recombine their body parts with other mediums into twisted dark sculptures. Wtf would he be capable of with superpowers. Perhaps he wouldn't be OP in combat but that shit is disgusting.
Van der Dekkens fruit would also be amazing to use in a support role. You could send useful items to anyone that needed them. I can see him, in the right hands as a top tier revolutionary, he would be able to establish a world wide unhackable communications network and a world wide supply line
Foxy Devil fruit is so wasted.... he can Awakened into Time Manipulation... it makes sense why this OP devil fruit ate by a weak people because they become Yonko if they do it well
I'm actually going to defend Shu a bit. I admit it's mostly speculation, but with how he was presented in that scene I have a strong feeling that we'll be seing him comeback in somepoint of the story, maybe as a Vice Admiral or someone of such rank. The reasong behind it is that unlike the mentioned throw away Captains, he was given center stage, a concealing hat and face mask and he effectively crippled one of the main characters (before getting taken out by Usopp ^^') Oda doesn't do things at random and I see we might get him be a bigger threat in future arcs, or even in Wano. I'd also argue that the fact he was able to catch Zoro's slash with bare hands *might be not* because of the Rust-Rust fruit but because of armament haki. Back then we had no way of telling if someone was using it. Not to mention if Oda uses the possibility of it being able to 'rust' non-metal objects (possibly via awakening), he might become One Piece equivalent to Shigaraki.
Agreed, Shu was overpowering zoro until usopp came and he seemed to be leagues above other captains. Oda doesn't give that kind of treatment to other useless characters
depends on how they interact. Remember Haki *does not negate devil fruit effects,* in case of Logia it forces the user into a tangible form so you can hit them. People often confuse them for negating devil fruits. In the Rust fruit case I imagine it could slow down the decay effect.

Because in the real world the dynamics needed behind the flight of a bird can't be captured in a 2 hour drawing not to mention a 2min drawing, doesn't matter who the artist is, that bird isn't gonna be able to lift it's own weight or the weight of a passenger and even if it did then you're just opening up the can of worms behind weight, counter balance, wing span, aerodynamics of flight, these things can't be shown by just one 2d drawing. So yes, birds aren't easy to draw
Perona is very powerful. Her negative hollows, the same ones she attacked Usopp with drive people to become depressed/negative, and even want to commit suicide. What Perona didn't know was Usopp was already very negative of himself. Which backfired, and cause her Negative hollows to drop to their knees, and become depressed themeselves. Time skip Usopp is no longer negative of him self so guess who might win round 2? Perona doesn't really belong on this list.
Well Perona herself isn't very powerful without her devil fruit, so she's probably on this list because a stronger character would use this power to cheese everyone who isn't Usopp. Like if Zoro had this power, he could easily defeat anyone weaker than like a Yonko. Perona hasn't been seen using her power on any super strong characters.
She could have been so much better, if Zoro brought her with him to the Straw hats. They are constantly growing, and with the authors focus, she could be an indispensible part of the Straw hats. Imagine if Perona was in Dresrossa... Sugar would have lost at the beginning.

Honorable mentions: I don't think that Smoker uses the fruit "wrong". I think the fruit is just bad compared to the other devil fruits. Its a logia, but since Haki was introduced the only thing you can do with it is turning into smoke(what is really bad against haki users) and you can move faster. Seems not really good. Also another one that I would put into honorable mentions would be Cesar. He is just a wimp with a really strong fruit.

I think the woman with mr 5 is also wasting her devil fruit bcs she only use it to fall heavely on people but imagine if she was able to use it in hand to hand combat. i mean she could add her hands (or feet) mass then her punch (or kick) would deal great damage.
Read the fanfic Shinobi of the High Seas, where Ms. Valentine uses her ability to take on Vice Admirals with ease, also imagine her adding weight to you everytime she hits you
The Hobby Hobby fruit is pretty Broken. •makes the user younger •turns people/animals to obedient toys •person/animal turned are erased from people's memories.

every fruit has the potential to be absolutely devastating regardless of how silly it sounds best examples is Luffy himself and Don Flamingo with his "string" ability seen as one of the most powerful powers yet also other fruits we know are powerful but we didnt see much like the Light fruit and the Toxic Magellans fruit
Your top 10 strongest one piece characters vid, is honestly one of the best vids ive seen on all of RUclips. Its so well made and so well thought out. I wish you made these vids more often, but i completely understand why you don't. Its unfortunate you didnt hit 10k likes, but plz don't let that stop you making new vids. Its probably much less likely to hit 10k any time soon since its an old video now!
What about the spike fruit? Its so useful especially if the user can use haki, but unfortunately it appeared for a short time and a long time ago, and I don't think Miss Doublefinger became stronger and will appear again in the story
You probably won't read this but I feel like you underestimate pre time-skip Usopp. Sure he may not be as strong as the monster trio but that's not where he trives. His strenght lies in his creativity and his art of deception. When fighting against Perona, he knew he didn't have a chance and the reason he kept thinking like that was probably to stay immune to the Negative Hollows. But even then, he was still a force to be reckoned with. In 5 seconds top, he slew all of her guards for the exception of big bear boy. And at the final moment of the fight, he made it seems like he missed her when he actually immobilized her. He didn't beat her up until she fainted but he SCARED her to "death". He used fear. Not intimidation, not brute strength, but fear and a lot of strategic planning. He is also one of the very few Straw Hat members who challenged Luffy in a fight. And had the upper hand for a majority of the fight. Plus, his sniping skills are terrifying as seen in the Enies Lobby arc. Sure, I know he pales in comparison to the monster trio but that's what makes him awesome. He's not a Devil Fruit user, he's not a swordsman who can clean cut a huge statue (Pika), he's not a dude who can put his legs on fire and can rearrange a person's skull by kicking it, he's a guy with a slingshot. And the fact that he can fight alongside these kind of people just proves how strong he is.

I've always thought the same with the bomb bomb fruit, like imagine if he could pull a single strand of hair out use armament haki on it and use it like exploding needles
Or imagine if a Rokushiki user had eaten it. Use Shigan to pierce their body, then explode your finger inside of them. That would be absolutely brutal.
7:13 you can consider rusting a human body a canon ability because humans are made up of so many different metals like iron in our blood and calcium in our nerves, teeth and bones. so rusting a body is basically rusting metal and hence it is a canon abilitiy

For me I think it would be used very effectively if used with a martial art of some kind, imagine if every punch, kick, headbutt, etc a person uses giving off an explosion equal to a stick of TNT, while not game breaking strong it would be an amazing weapon for a skill fighter.

Might be controversial, but I'd say one of the most underused fruits is Robin's one. I mean, she should be able to instantly restrain any opponent by locking their vision earing and all of there articulations. Plus, since she can control the size of the body parts she spawns, she has access to has much strength as she needs whenever she wants. Also, what would happen if she spawned a giant mouth right under an opponent's feet and swallowed them? Or spawned a hand inside their mouth, stopping them from breathing? Yet, I feel like her powers are consistently underutilised to not have her crush opponents meant for other crewmembers to beat...

He is only bound by a certain range, all body-parts must be within range or he cannot control them, defined by where his feet touch the ground. but he can split his feet with a one atom layer laying on the ground, the rest float. Have a minion carry the feet slizes around, killer fog.
Buggy is basically unkillable if he learns haki as then his body-fog cannot be burned by logia type fruits.
I 100% agree Buggy's Bara Bara no Mi (split split fruit) is a potentially super powerful Devil's fruit being absolutely wasted in his hands. Buggy is not very smart, but he is incredibly lucky. The Devil's fruit was given to him by The Pirate King Gol D Rodger. He was going to sell it, because he's not smart; but Shanks made him swallow it because he's lucky. Shanks took the Gomu Gomu no Mi, so it's likely equivalent or better in terms of power/usefulness. If Buggy could learn CoO Haki, he'd be untouchable to all but AoE powers like fire, magma etc. If he learns to awaken the fruit, he could possibly even replace the Buggy Bomb with "Atomic Split".

I think that if Deidera had the Art Art fruit, he wouldn't make people explode. His form of art wasn't explosions, but rather the crafting *of* explosions, i.e. the clay. The explosion was just the end result. I guess, in that instance, if he had that fruit, he would transmogrify people into clay objects/statues which he could *then* blow up. I think the Art Art fruit has to change a thing/person into an art medium (which can technically be anything) and then display them. So if someone thought skeletons were true art (you'd need to explain that one), the victim would be changed into bones BUT still retain sentience and some movement.
You'd have to conjure up a specific example of philosophy to try to game this fruit, which I think is the balancing factor of it. A person's interpretation of art will lock-in the capabilities of this fruit upon eating it. A person who has no appreciation for art likely wouldn't be able to use the fruit at all (or perhaps it would drain aesthetic from things?) or a person who thinks machines are truly artful likely would be able to mechanize things (and this is a thing! There are people out there obsessed with machines, metallic moving parts!) while others would see anthro furry people as true art. In the hands of Sanji, would he turn people into ingredients and be able to cook them!? Or would would he just turn guys into women and women into busty nude women?
...so yeah, I definitely agree with you. This fruit could likely have some weird or amazingly varied effects in the hands of someone else.
Imagine the serial killer from psycho pass's interpretation of art. Without devil fruit powers he was able to murder gis victims and recombine their body parts with other mediums into twisted dark sculptures. Wtf would he be capable of with superpowers. I'm actually going to defend Shu a bit. I admit it's mostly speculation, but with how he was presented in that scene I have a strong feeling that we'll be seing him comeback in somepoint of the story, maybe as a Vice Admiral or someone of such rank. The reasong behind it is that unlike the mentioned throw away Captains, he was given center stage, a concealing hat and face mask and he effectively crippled one of the main characters (before getting taken out by Usopp ^^')
Oda doesn't do things at random and I see we might get him be a bigger threat in future arcs, or even in Wano. I'd also argue that the fact he was able to catch Zoro's slash with bare hands *might be not* because of the Rust-Rust fruit but because of armament haki. Back then we had no way of telling if someone was using it. Not to mention if Oda uses the possibility of it being able to 'rust' non-metal objects (possibly via awakening), he might become One Piece equivalent to Shigaraki.
Shu tried to rust Zoros hand at one point so if rusting non-metal objects was his awakening he was pretty close to it.

Because in the real world the dynamics needed behind the flight of a bird can't be captured in a 2 hour drawing not to mention a 2min drawing, doesn't matter who the artist is, that bird isn't gonna be able to lift it's own weight or the weight of a passenger and even if it did then you're just opening up the can of worms behind weight, counter balance, wing span, aerodynamics of flight, these things can't be shown by just one 2d drawing.

Perona is very powerful. Her negative hollows, the same ones she attacked Usopp with drive people to become depressed/negative, and even want to commit suicide. What Perona didn't know was Usopp was already very negative of himself. Which backfired, and cause her Negative hollows to drop to their knees, and become depressed themeselves. Time skip Usopp is no longer negative of him self so guess who might win round 2? Perona doesn't really belong on this list.

Well Perona herself isn't very powerful without her devil fruit, so she's probably on this list because a stronger character would use this power to cheese everyone who isn't Usopp. Like if Zoro had this power, he could easily defeat anyone weaker than like a Yonko. Perona hasn't been seen using her power on any super strong characters.
She could have been so much better, if Zoro brought her with him to the Straw hats. They are constantly growing, and with the authors focus, she could be an indispensible part of the Straw hats. Imagine if Perona was in Dresrossa... Sugar would have lost at the beginning.

You probably won't read this but I feel like you underestimate pre time-skip Usopp. Sure he may not be as strong as the monster trio but that's not where he trives. His strenght lies in his creativity and his art of deception. When fighting against Perona, he knew he didn't have a chance and the reason he kept thinking like that was probably to stay immune to the Negative Hollows. But even then, he was still a force to be reckoned with. In 5 seconds top, he slew all of her guards for the exception of big bear boy. And at the final moment of the fight, he made it seems like he missed her when he actually immobilized her. He didn't beat her up until she fainted but he SCARED her to "death". He used fear. Not intimidation, not brute strength, but fear and a lot of strategic planning. He is also one of the very few Straw Hat members who challenged Luffy in a fight. And had the upper hand for a majority of the fight. Plus, his sniping skills are terrifying as seen in the Enies Lobby arc. Sure, I know he pales in comparison to the monster trio but that's what makes him awesome. He's not a Devil Fruit user, he's not a swordsman who can clean cut a huge statue (Pika), he's not a dude who can put his legs on fire and can rearrange a person's skull by kicking it, he's a guy with a slingshot. And the fact that he can fight alongside these kind of people just proves how strong he is.
His point is that ussop was just a normal person with no superhuman strength or powers.
