    What I think is cool about it is that the pieces store well, so even if you abandon it you can pick it back up when the bee’s back in your bonnet. :-)

    I don't have the patience for this kind of project at all haha, but I'd love to see more youtube updates of the blanket as well! Looking forward to the next videos :)

    I REMEMBER WHEN THIS PATTERN FIRST CAME OUT!! It was such a new thing in the community, and as someone that is not a strong knitter (I find crochet easier/faster but don’t this these versions look as nice) this has always been on my list of patterns to try. Well done with your dedication to this project, the colours and placement look absolutely beautiful!

      YESSS it was such a moment!! i feel like a lot of younger knitters have no clue about the phenomenon it was but there's definitely a reason it's been on my list so long haha. thank you so much!!

    I would loooove to knit this pattern as a temperature blanket! I feel like it's really well suited to it.

    Excited to see how you seem these together. I am at about 75 hexagons right now. Have been leaving ~6" tails on mine in case I can use that for the seeming as I want to have it as a solid blanket as well.

      thanks madeline!! also that's smart, i've been weaving my ends in from the start (and by that i mean just stuffing the ends inside) since i thought it would save time, but i'm realizing now that miiiiight have been a mistake... oh well 😅

    Hi, I love your channel, and I also knit, so I was wondering
    How do you knit hexagons because I only know how to knit squares and rectangles

    • @midsummerknits
      @midsummerknits  Год назад +1

      essentially you increase (add stitches) until you have twice as many stitches and then you decrease (remove stitches) until you're back at the original number! you can also buy the pattern to see exact instructions here: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-beekeepers-quilt

    maybe you can seem the corners and dry felt the sides together
