Very nice. I've the same idea with the same guitar. I think it's on par with the MIM Nashville Tele's of which I don't like the neck and it's to expensive for me now.
I recommend you check out the Free-Way 10-way switch. It has all 7 options of what you've done, but also allows M+N, N+B, and M+B in series mode. It's not quite full-on humbucker, but it does sound "humbucker-ish" and provides a slight volume boost.
I can also recommend the Free-Way 3B3-01, it is actually easier to wire with 3 pickup guitars than for a traditional 2 pickup Tele. You get one row of Strat middle/mix tones and another row of the 3 traditional Tele sounds. 1 row on the switch gives tele TB, TB+TN and TN, while the other row gives the Strat middle 'n' mix tones TB + SM, SM, SM + TN.
Sounds great! I sold my Strat and bought a G&L ASAT Classic S with alnico pickups, with which I'm very happy. It was probably more than what you put into this guitar, but I'm a "knowledge work," which means I don't know how to do anything really useful. :)
Thanks Mike! Believe me, with a bit of patience, persistence and help from the internet, you can learn all the basics regarding work I put into this guitar! Maybe you'll mess up the first time, but it'll be worth it!
Aria Nashville tele or Gear4Music Knoxville Select SSS tele is at same quality as Harley Benton, same price level...ready to play...why to do this mod ? but nice job...
Fantastic! Great craftmanship, great playing!😊
Thanks 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
