Lovely blog. So excited for you, Harvey and Oslo, for when your new family member arrives. The baby changing station is perfect and the drawer linings bought tears to my eyes. I love all your content and it's so nice to escape somewhere beautiful with your travel videos but my favourites are the homey vlogs - you do them so well and they're always so lovely! (also, I'm not a mum yet but I'm really enjoying your baby content - especially you talking through setting up the changing area - it's so reassuring watching you make the space you have work so well. We just bought quite a small house and this is something I'm already stressing about for the future 😂). ❤️

Lovely vlog as always Athena. I love your garden pots and your mums garden. The echinacea looks amazing. Garden centres are an obsession of mine and too much money is spent there according to my husband. Loving the baby content also, nesting is such a precious time, enjoy every moment. I ordered some bits from Ramble store the other day, the stock is so well curated. Lots of lovely things for gifts and for me. Amazing job.

It’s really lovely, and she has a deck that runs right around the caravan too so lots of outdoor space in a small space! 😊

I love watching the preparations for the baby. Such a special time washing the little garments and getting everything ready. I can remember that feeling of it not feeling real, looking at cot and thinking soon a little baby will be in there!
Your videos warm my heart and remind me of the things, the little things, that are the most important. Thank you both for sharing your life with us, you make the world that little bit brighter. Very excited for your new arrival, and I can’t wait to see how you involve your little one in your adventures! Ours has just turned 2 and we have just bought a van to convert, I’m desperate to see Scotland again and the Lakes. I'd send back the changing mat as although it is wide, it isn't very long and you will find that baby will outgrow it quicker than you think! I kept a changing mat upstairs and one downstairs as you will be changing baby all the time and won't want to run up and down all the time... keep a basket of essentials in the living room for easy access x
Ah thanks for the advice! I’ve already decided to keep the mat but may just have to get another one at some point 😅
I enjoyed your video at home, seeing your work area, your organized stock area, dunking your toast in the yoke at breakfast, (yum my fav too!) seeing your beautiful garden, the purple flowers, going to the stream to cool off, Oslo resting on the rug, going to the garden center with your Mom, seeing her garden. I really like your organized cabinet with the baskets, for the nursery corner. The color is perfect. I am so happy for you. I love the glow around you. I would like to know more about eco psychology. I do believe you may have used it in your videos. I love the feelings I am left with after watching alot of your videos. I love it! Like I couldn't get enough. I hope you have a really nice week.

Hi Athena (and Harvey and Oslo!) I just wanted to say a huge thank you for making your videos and running your store. I placed on order last week of your Ramble Guide, x2 Peak District maps and the Nalgene bottle (perfect for Osprey backpacks with notoriously shallow but wide bottle holders) which arrived extremely quickly and perfectly packaged! Your videos have really encouraged me to get out walking more, and as soon as I have finished my doctorate I will be heading up to the Peaks to try out some of your walks. Stunning views as always. Your garden is amazing, so many thriving pots. Athena you look so well and seem to be enjoying pregnancy. Make sure you give your body time for plenty of rest too. Maybe a suggestion for your baby changing table/mat is Harvey could make a wider top so you don’t loose things down the gap and it will give you more space on top for supplies. Xx
This was a lovely video, as always 💕 I love your adventure vlogs & also the home ones, they’re so inspiring & peaceful respectively. Keep the changing pad, it looks fine where it is and you can move it around as needed - our changing pad is technically too big for the chest of drawers it’s been sitting on for the last 10 ish months and we move it to the bathroom as needed & wherever else. It now lives under the cot 👌🏼 Xox

Love your videos Athena, and I agree with others - film whatever you like! My partner’s got the same van as yours (his was originally bought for transporting diving equipment) - you and Harvey have inspired us to adapt it where possible so we can go exploring and stay in it! Glad you’re nesting and the baby station looks practical and so peaceful and sweet! Also love that floral cushion on the sofa, do you mind sharing where it’s from?

Another great video( I really love seeing the hills where you live. I didn’t know Harvey plays guitar. Music is a gift that last more than a lifetime. I’ve been playing for over 45 years now. I used to love playing for my sons when they were younger. It’s something Harvey may love to do for your child as well. God bless!

@@RambleFamily Tell Harvey to keep at it. There’s so much to discover. Some of my favorite players are Phil Keaggy, Tommy Emmanuel, Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, and many more. They inspire me, and so does nature. On a recent hike I noticed a bird’s call - 3 phrases, with 3 notes each. I recorded it, and am in process of writing a song around it…

Athena....our friend used to refer to her bump as Baby ‘SPUD’....which sounds odd until you realise it means ‘Special Person Under Development’ So exciting & daunting for you both. Enjoy this precious time.

Wonder if you could buy a storage building to put outside for hiking/bike/equipment? You could move it with you when time for a new place. Could help with space/storage? 💡❓
We’ve thought about doing this and have also looked into storage locally! We are looking to buy a house in the next year or less so we might just see what happens with that first 😊

The blanket looks perfect for a picnic. I have to ask because I'm learning English - I'm American - have heard sweaters being called jumpers, but you called them cardigans. We call sweaters that button down the front cardigans, so is that the same in US & England?
A jumper goes over the head and a cardigan has buttons! 😊
Have you had any weird or new foods you’ve craved whilst pregnant? One of my friends hated eggs until pregnant then ate soooo many!
