Sorry for the delay. I should do one on staying upright. Getting dragged to the floor is not a good thing.

It is better to avoid those types of controls these days for legal and ethical reasons. However sometimes when personal safety is at genuine risk an escalation of force is needed.

Its not a specific style, more a mix of several things. I hold black belts and instructor licenses in several disciplines.

Don’t get me wrong I’ve worked as a Dorman for 15 years I’ve been ahead Doorman I’ve done pretty much every single job inside outside……….. Techniques is using proven that Doorwork but he hasn’t taken into account the guy is half a size and the guys been very submissive and very willing people don’t just stand there and let you put their hands on them so he’s not actually showing of real life scenario…………. Like I say the techniques are okay but you’re okay in a classroom in a controlled environment people don’t normally stand there and be willing to be manipulated and pushed around very basic stuff

Thank you for your reply. As with a lot of these vids they are shown with compliance to see the technique. Like you I have been around a long time and appreciate they very rarely sit still and let you do things:) If you came to my full-time club you would see these things and more being worked through the levels of compliance ending in the guys kitted up and working with full resistance. I put a video of one of those up a few weeks back and it was censored:)

@@Modernsamuraionline I can assure you my comments want to be rude or disrespectful it was just my opinion now there’s gonna be people in the comments pages saying the problem with opinions are like arseholes everyone’s got one……lol ……. With regards and you do touch only somewhat the best weapon in your arsenal and in my opinion is the confidence the bluff and I know you talk about this in your videos that is the biggest weapon in your arsenal because we all know 99.9% of Doorwork is boring just standing around and then there’s to 1% where you actually physically have to get hands-on……… and also you don’t want some MMA and karate expert because he’s going to end up beating the crap out of everyone who looks at him funny sometimes I find the best DNS’s are people who have confidence for themselves can actually look after themselves but aren’t too well trained because of the reasons like I said before so I do appreciate the training you’re doing like I said it’s very basic…… Anything that helps DSS out there it’s good
