I'm convinced that you're an honest person & though it seems you're questioning the faith of Islam, your questions are legit... I don't want to answer those questions, because you're questions are serious... I recommend you to do podcasts with islamic scholars - it would be a great content, I would love to see you discussing with an islamic scholar.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I definitely understand where you're coming from. I've started listening to some different Muslim thinkers and I hope in the future I'll be able to bring some of them on and discuss! That would be awesome
Its good that your reading the quran. But your approach isnt sincere. I think you should read it without trying to confirm that Jesus is god. This might help you
Hey! Thank you for watching the series. I try my best to leave my bias at the door but I'm still a Christian at the end of the day. All we can do is try to be as open minded as possible
I think it's okay, since a lot of converts had those same motives, to prove that Islam (and Quran) has flaws, and to prove that Christian is the truer religion or the only truth. It is a journey, and one must start from something before finding the truth in the end. Let's just pray for our future brother here, may he find what he seeks. 😊
My friend, humans don't have free will, but Allah gives free choices between right and wrong. You can just decide not to breathe oxygen and replace it with something else. You can choose not to breathe, but you will die. Allah put the truth in front of you, and you can choose to accept or not.
The First Commandment 20:3: “You shall have no other gods before Me.” It tells us to put God first. The First Commandment lays an essential foundation that all the other commandments build upon. The first commandment in the Bible is "You shall have no other gods before me." Christians, why are you adding Jesus to the first commandment when Jesus said 'My Lord and your Lord is One". If you love Jesus, then follow him in action, deeds, and in character. Christians live like immoral pigs, their deeds are abhorrent to Jesus' teaching, and Christians' character is all a lies and deceit. Please research the historical Jesus Jewish orthodox rabbi who lived 2000 years ago before your life ends, and you will never get another chance to mend your way for the sin you are committing against God, Lord of the havens
The Quran's challenge is linguistic .. meaning the Arabs of old and new cannot produce something even close .. which is completely true as an Arabic native speaker.
1. First, the verses in the Quran were revealed (not inspired) not in the order that you see in the Quran, it was because the angel Gibrael was indicating to the prophet the right or the future place of the verse (in Islam, it's commonly known that the Quran was revealed from the Preserved Tablet, which is a heavenly book) , so the companions of the prophet (saw) memorized the numbers of the verses very early. The prophet named some of the suras, while others were named by the prophet's companions. PS: In Islam, giving lordship and deity is proof of its pure monotheism, unlike in Christianity, where many people hold deity and lordship, which we call shirk in Islam. 2. The predestination in Islam is that there is free will. Allah gives you a test, and then He knows the future and what decisions you will make, and He makes a copy of your final results and writes it in the book, and you do it. 3. If the prophet Muhammad was a false prophet, he would deny the previous scriptures; didn't you think about this? By the way, Allah is speaking in the Quran, not the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). And regarding your question about confirming the corrupted books, you are wrong here because the verse is referring to the original (hidden) books, not the actual copies you have today or had in the 7th century. 4. Since the challenge of replicating the Quran or chapters like them HAD NO criteria so you are required to consider all the aspects. That's it, This is my personal opinion. 5. The Quran never said Jesus pbuh is God; in fact, a word from Allah means "BE," and the exclusivity of Jesus pbuh having this characteristic here is clarification to you that he is just a mere creation or man created by Allah's order, and you can't apply a biblical concept (John 1:1) to the Quran; at the very least, the Quran is warning us not to believe he was a god or else it's disbelief. Allah has given Jesus pbuh the ability to create as a miracle that he is sent by God, Jesus said in the gospel of John, chapter 5:30 KJV: I can of my own self do nothing, so I advise you to think about this first. Jesus did not say "I forgive your sin," he instead said "your sin is forgiven" and this is an affirmation that the God in heaven (by revelation) has forgiven that person. Finally, I will give you these verses to reconsider: John 5:30 : I can of mine own self do nothing. Numbers 23:19 : God is not like people, who lie; he is not a human who changes his mind. Matthew 15:24 : Jesus said, "I was sent only to the people of Israel! "They are like a flock of lost sheep." If you are not an Israelian, you should not stick to Jesus because his message was completed by the arrival of the prophet Muhammad pbuh. John 17:3 says, "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and the One You have sent." According to your belief, the father here is THE ONLY TRUE GOD, and Jesus is simply a messenger sent to bring this message to you.
AsSalamu ‘alaykoum. Brother can you elaborate on your first point ? there are some geometrical precisions in Quran with such verses being at such place etc. So did the prophet Alayhi Salat Wa Salam and the companions named them just like that or did they had knowledge about what verse should be at what number etc ? My question also applies to the name of surahs. Were they named just like that or with a certain precision ? because like take surah 16 Bees for exemple. We came to know that bees also had 16 chromosomes. So for me it’s not named just like that. Do you understand my question ? Can you give a little bit more detail please ?
1. The Qu'ran was not preserved. There's no manuscripts that dated back to the time of Muhammad, rather the Hadiths were written more than a 100 years ago after the prophet. Uthman burnt so many copies of the Qu'ran and wrote down the words in a single book. Because there was confusion among the Muslims. Read your history. And in your books you believe in abrogation. I hope you know what that means. 2. Your Allah was shocked in a Hadith. Showing he didn't know what would happen in the future. 3. The Qu'ran said it came confirming both the Torah and the Gospel (Injil). The Qu'ran didn't do any, rather Muhammad did a different thing. Your excuses is that the books were corrupted, but there is no evidence of anything. The Qu'ran claims to confirm the Torah, the Jews are with the Torah, and they're not Christians, so are you saying the Jews too hid the Original Torah? You see where logic fails? The Old testament and the Torah are the same thing, but the Jews aren't Christians. And to further destroy your arguement, the Christians have historical proofs of the Old testament and new testament, writings that predates even Jesus. They were used to compare the Bible available now and there was no errors. In fact if there was error, it's barely noticeable. Why didn't Muhammad present the hidden Torah and Injil?? Funny! 4. You can't add your opinions when it comes to the Qu'ran or your religion. You're making yourself a kafir. Seems I know your religion more than you. 5. The Qu'ran described Isa(which Christians believe is not Jesus) as the word and also the spirit of Allah. And speaking of the trinity, Allah didn't understand the concept of the trinity. He said it was Jesus, God and Mary. Confusing. Scattered around the Gospel is the concept of the Trinity. You lie when you said Jesus didn't forgive sins. Read the Bible. Mark 2:1-4. Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town. 2 Some men brought to him a paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.” 3 At this, some of the teachers of the Law said to themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!” 4 Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts? 5 Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 6 But so that you might know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sin . . . .” Then he said to the paralytic, “Get up, take your mat and go home.”. This verse tell us that Jesus has authority to forgive sins. So stop lying and copy pasting what you have no idea of. I don't want to dwell too much on this. I will give you a verse that destroys your arguement. In Isaiah 42:8 God states, “I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images” Now read John 17:5 say And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. This was as he wanted to ascend to heaven. He said he and the father shared the same glory before the even existed. So sorry man, I have successfully refuted your claim.
@@raphaelfeneje486 The Quran manuscript in the Birmingham university dates to the time of the prophet. It contains exactly the same verses we have in our today's Quran. You refuted nothing. Quran is preserved.
@@lokman- Was that the only thing you could refute?? I was waiting for someone to actually say this. Now put your Qu'ran to the test. Till today, nobody could read that manuscript you claimed to be in Birmingham. In fact some of the text predated Islam. It is said that even the Qu'ran at the time of Muhammad wasn't understood. So you see how you just disgraced yourself? Your Islamic scholars are even embarrassed to talk about it, let alone trying to read it. So much for the preservation.
@@raphaelfeneje486 Making baseless clames does not mean you won the argument. Can you read arabic? I can, and I can read that manuscript as well. Everyone who can read arabic can read it. > some of the text predated islam Care to provide any evidence? > it is said that even the Quran at the time of Muhammed ﷺ wasn't understood Source: "it is said" = trust me bro
I love it when non Muslims read the quran with an open mind, you seem like a nice guy and I can't wait to see the rest of your journey, As for your questions as others have suggested it would be great if you ask them to Islamic scholars whether those in the nearest mosque to you or online scholars on RUclips
@@daxvanderwal As salamu alaykum! [May peace be upon you]. I'll try to answer some of the questions, inshallah. Something I would like to say right off the bat: I know you're a Christian but I think you would benefit greatly from doing this series in an attempt to find out if the Quran is from God rather than already having made up your mind that it's not from God. 1. For pronunciation, I would suggest you look it up if you're interested in doing it correctly. It would be better and easier than trying to explain pronunciation through writing. 2. In Aramaic, the language of Jesus, God is called Elah/Aloh [Allah] as well. 3. The descendants of Ishmael were originally monotheistic and worshipped Allah, but over time paganism and polytheism was added in. But even the polytheistic Arabs knew Allah was the ultimate unseen God and the idols they worshipped were lesser. Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider) 61. If you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth and subjected the sun and the moon?" they would surely say, "Allah." Then how are they deluded? 62. Allah extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts for him. Indeed Allah is, of all things, Knowing. 63. And if you asked them, "Who sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness?" they would surely say " Allah." Say, "Praise to Allah "; but most of them do not reason. 3. Quran is the literal word of God not inspired word. 4. The discussion about Bismillah. As you said, there are differences of opinion which is a deeper topic I'm not qualified to answer in a RUclips comment. Though I will say most Qurans today count the Bismillah as a verse for Al-Fatiha but not the other Surahs. 5. Calling Jesus Lord: I'm not a Bible expert but the word Lord is a loaded word when it comes to using it to reference God or other than God. For example, rabbi comes from rab which means master/lord, and I don't think Jews argue that rabbis are God. 6. It is undeniable Islam is connected to the Abrahamic faiths. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is a descendant from Abraham and worked blood sweat and tears to bring Abrahamic Monotheism to a pagan Arabia. If that is not a prophet then what is? Also I highly recommend this video to you: ruclips.net/video/4s2UTAtSKd0/видео.html 7. As for you question on predestination and free-will, it is wonderfully explained here: ruclips.net/video/v6IlDV3cGgY/видео.html 8. Allah does not mislead except defiantly disobedient (2:26); same as you found in your Bible. Same God. 9. Yes, both predestination and free will exists in Islam; see video on #7. 10. You're saying God is not in control of everything just because we have free will? That's diminishing the power of God. 11. "Confirming that which is with you" See video on #6. There are also famous accounts of Jews/Christians who became companions of the prophet because they found him prophesized in their scriptures. See Abdullah ibn Salam and Salman al Farasi Story of Salman al Farasi: ruclips.net/video/TpO89LMFcno/видео.html 12. Just because prophecies of prophet Muhammad can be found does not mean the Bible was fully preserved in it's original form, and it cannot even be argued to have been if you look at its history. Quran is the only Holy book that holds its weight when it comes to preservation. So yes, you can find prophecies of the prophet (see #6 video) but does not mean it's fully preserved. 13. The inimitablity of the Quran. This is a personal answer: has there ever been a book that had a mass effect on the global human population as the Quran has had? One that had been preserved similar to it? One that accurately predicted unlikely future events? [For example Rome defeating Persia within 9 years, this prophecy was made right after Persia devastated Rome]. This prophecy also shows the bond between Muslims and Christians against the pagans, Rome took back Persia the same day Muslims won Badr against Mecca. It was a day the Abrahamic faiths triumphed over their enemies. In any case, no other book other than the Quran fits all these criterias and nor will there ever be. 14. Issiah 42 is a prophecy about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), if that is what you're looking for. 15. It's Al-Imran not Ali. Al means the in Arabic so will see a lot of title be Al-_____. 16. Jesus being "just a prophet" is kind of underplaying it, he is one of the top 5 prophets in Islam [Muhammad, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Noah (peace be upon them all)]. Being a prophet is one of the highest stations there is in all of creation, if not the highest. 17. "A word from the Lord". Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was. [3:59] Jesus was created like Adam was created, God said "Be" and he was. That does not make neither Adam nor Jesus God nor the son of God. 18. About the giving life. It literally says in the verse "by God's leave." It is by God's power that happened not from Jesus himself. Even from your scriptures, "I of myself can do nothing". How is it any different from other miracles of other prophets, like Moses splitting the sea? 19. Or revelation came to Jesus that the man's sin was forgiven. For example, prophet Muhammad, pbuh, said some of his companions are guaranteed Jannah [paradise], that doesn't mean he permitted them, that was information revealed to him. Also if someone wrongs you, you can forgive them. Lastly, a question for you: Why would God undertake a massive change with the coming of Jesus (pbuh)? God is eternal and unchanging.
@@alvezarooz6471 agree this guy is all over the place he asked 1000 questions ??? like how in the hell is anybody meant to keep up with him ? he needs to calm down and breath.
Hey listen! Don't just pose questions to your youtube audience. All the people's knowledge, understanding, opinions are not same. If you really want to get answers of those questions, then you can ask any Seikh or scholar of Islam and make video with him. I hope you understand ❤
Honestly this is the best comment that could be posted as a reply to this guy's intentions. I dont know why is he reading the Holy Qur'an to ask for "OPINIONS" instead of serious answers from scholars... I'm already not interested much in this content
You quoted C2 verse 7 "Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and their sight is covered. They will suffer a tremendous punishment." To ask whether we believe infree will. This verse's context is in the verse before where Allah says "As for those who persist in disbelief, it is the same whether you warn them or not-they will never believe." You can see it talks about a specific group of disbelievers which are the disbelievers who persist in disbelief, meaning they don't want to believe to begin with, even if the truth has been shown to them. So it isn't talking in general. As for Allah having control over us, yes He does, everything we chose to do, Allah allowed us to do it. Here is a verse showing free will in the same chapter you will read. Spoiler: quran 18:29 "And say, "The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve." Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose walls will surround them. And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like murky oil, which scalds [their] faces. Wretched is the drink, and evil is the resting place."
This was a great explanation thank you! I think the language of "Allah allows" is helpful and that's how I would say it in Christianity as well. God directly wills or allows everything that happens in the universe, so he is in complete control. Thanks for clearing this up and I will remember 18:29
@@daxvanderwal another thing to add God is transcendent of everything , transcendent of time , He gave us free will and put us in circumstances and He already knows what will we do with our free will in each of the circumstances. Qadr القدر the 6 th article of faith is to believe in that any circumstance you were put in is predetermined by God and whatever it leads to.
Yes brother you can also use the example of Abu Lahab and how he could have destroyed the entire religion of Islam if he accepted it as in the Quran it says he will never submit and he died a disbeliever because his heart was sealed.
In the Quran, an interesting thing to point out is that in the Arabic language, the verse which means He guides whom He wills and misguides whom He wills is written in a way that can mean two things at the same time: “He guides whom [He] wills”. So the second pronoun is not there in the Arabic language. So it’s Allah guides whom He wills and Allah guides whomever wills [to be guided]. I don’t have time rn so I’ll invite you to critically ponder on this verse with this in mind in relation to Allah’s control and predetermination. And we believe that Allah hardens people’s hearts after they have completely rejected and disbelieved in Him-because He is the Most Merciful so He gives many chances to people and signs first. Hope this helps. I’ll try to come back and answer the rest of your questions.
The challenge is for Arabic speakers (the pagan poets of the time and Arabic speakers) the 5 greatest Arab poets lived at the time of prophet Muhammed and they couldn’t meet the challenge and called it “sorcery”. Every generation has tried for 1,400 years and even AI computers have tried and failed. 😊
Proof for Islam score: Strong. Subject: There is intentionality Type of evidence: Intellectual evidence using reasoning. _There are, in the land, neighboring plots. In them, gardens of vineyards, cornfields, palm trees mono-root and otherwise, all watered with the same water, yet We make the yield of some better than others: Certainly, in that is evidence for rational thinkers._ - Interpretation of Quran 13.04 If seed plant evolved naturally, how possible could it be to evolve into diversity and variation grains, fruits, vegetables. then change the flavor of oranges sour, mild, very sweet? How did nature know that human beings have hands that plant, nose that smells and tongue that tastes and teeth that cuts and stomach that digests. This type of correlation implies causality. Therefore, an apple is flavored because human being can taste. Flavor is varied because there is differences in the perception of flavors and so on.
Proof for Islam score: strong. Discovery: Cosmic Dust Academic field: Astronomy Allah, The Beneficent The Merciful, mentions: 9-Say, "Do you really disbelieve in the One Who created the earth in two days? Do you consider things equal to Him? He is the Lord of the Universe. 10-And He placed on the earth firmly set mountains over its surface, and He blessed it and determined therein its [creatures'] sustenance in four days without distinction - for [the information] of those who ask. 11-Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, "Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion." They said, "We have come willingly”. (Chapter No. 41, Fussilat) What makes these verses extraordinary? Discovery of the cosmic dust. In 41.11, The Quran orders the skies and earth to come into being from smoke like in fairy tales. “The Universe is a very dusty place. Cosmic dust consists of tiny particles of solid material floating around in the space between the stars. It is not the same as the dust you find in your house but more like smoke with small particles varying from collections of just a few molecules to grains of 0.1 mm in size. Dust is important because we find lots of it around young stars. In fact it helps them to form, and it is also the raw material from which planets like the Earth are formed.” (Source: Herschel Space Observatory online, 2022)

I just came across your channel. I'm a revert from the Netherlands. Your last name sounds so Dutch. I'm not a scholar, but I like to make an effort to answer your question about free will, reading Quran 2:7. If you read the verse before that, verse 6, you read that it's about the people who already choose to disbelief, by their fee will. It says: "As for those who persist in disbelief, it is the same whether you warn them or not-they will never believe." It's their choice and Allah let them be blind and deaf. Once you choose to believe, you made the first step and Allah will open your eyes. But you have to choose, you have to make the first step

The answer to your question is in Surat Al-Baqarah, verse 79. God threatens those who distorted His books and added from themselves. "So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah," in order to exchange it for a small price. Hi Dax, imagine this..if Quran does not inform us that scriptures were revealed to Moses and Jesus PBUT, then muslims will not consider them as people of the book. So Quran is confirming that they have those scriptures they have with them but are will not be preserved over time, whilst Allah says in the Quran that he will see to it that Quran is preserved.
5:08 The Quran doesn’t have any verses that scholars don’t think is part of the Quran. The Quran has nothing added or taken away and is literally impossible to change due to millions of Muslims memorizing the Arabic version.
The word “Lord” is simply used for English translation. Thats why the importance of having the Quran preserved in its original language so that we can go back to it for the true meaning. The word used for Lord is Rabb ربّ and it has six implications: 1. AlMalik: The one who owns everything. 2. AsSayyid: The one who has complete authority over everything. 3. ohh man this will be so fun to watch as a Muslim.. this will took my full of time, pretty sure this Channel will be one of my favorite.. tysm for the nice idea. new subscriber.
Hi, I'm a new converted to Islam ( I was Christian), I asked the same questions as you do right now, I though if we had not a freedom of our life and God decided already our destiny so why we are here, I was lost .... But then when I did a real research I found out that we have our freedom to everything. So when you say Allah is blinding some people are those who knows the truth and keep ignoring it.... If I am wrong please feel free to correct me. I'm subscribing to follow your questions Have a nice day
2:We believe that man has free choice in his actions, and we believe that God guides everyone. Either a message reaches him and he believes it and becomes a Muslim, or he receives a message and he believes it but falsifies it, so he becomes one of the unbelievers. As for the one who did not receive the message, God will have mercy on him.
99% of questions about Islam have an answer, so it’s okay for him to question it, Islam is not a religion of blind faith, our religion is one of reason logic and reasoning based faith
Your supposed to question it and use logic and get clear understanding being that Allah has provided us with answers. What do you mean dont question it? Islam and the Quran encourage it
All of your questions have been answered by Sheikh Uthman, Br Hashim and the daawa groups in speakers corner. Pls look at them. I like your excitement in finding the truth.
Allah is the Arabic name of god even Christian Arabs say Allah check Bible translations in Arabic and Arabic orthodox Christian chants you will find clearly the say Allah
Nope Ilah is God in Arabic Allah in Arabic is the God of Islam meaning to be worshiped with no partners christians need to use ilah because they associatie partners with God
10:49 There is a hadith that says, { Every child that is born, is born upon the Fitrah, but his parents make him a Jew, a Christian, or a Zoroastrian. } This means that every child is born on the fitrah, which is Islam, and when he grows up, his religion is determined according to the environment in which he lives. So If his family were Christians, he would be a Christian, and if they were Jewish, he would be a Jew. God wrote for us our gender, our names, the date of our birth, the date of our death, and so on. But he showed us the bad from the good, and gave us what will happen if we follow the bad and what will happen if we follow the good. And gave humans two options; Do you want to follow the bad? Or do you want to follow the good Therefore, those who follow the bad follow it because they want it and desire it. The same applies to those who follow the good God made this life a test for us and presented the world to us with good and bad, so that He would see who would follow His orders and walk the right path, and who would turn away from Him. Of course, there is a reward for those who follow God, which is Paradise, and a punishment for those who turn away from God, which is Hell
When God talks about “Predetermination” … understand He talks from 10th Dimension. Even though He gave us humans ‘Free Will’.. He already knows our hearts and desires. So in a way He already knows what the Future holds because He is the creator of Time itself and already knowledgeable about the future!
@@bailong9698 Yes the reason I say 10th dimension is because that’s where the string theory ends. Nothing above it. Also if you notice Satan always try to put himself on the 11th dimension.. he always skips from 9th to 11. That’s why we have 9-11.
Quran says Torah and Gospels were sent by the same God, as Quran. Quran says this is not a new religion. This was the religion of Moses and Jesus. Torah and Gospel were sent for those nations. And now Quran is sent for the whole of humanity.
@Dax Van Der Wal if we had Torah preserved we won't need gospel and if we had gospel we won't need quran because all were from Allah us ppl were changing them another prophet would come some and new messager with another message that's why Allah promised to preserved the quran him self because there is no prophet to come and no new message is coming till day of judgment
@@daxvanderwal I actually do think the bible and turah are preserved because there is barely any proof they are not but I really really believe that the true versions are hidden to serve political agendas, please do not take my words as being agressive iam just sharing an opinion or you can call it a theory. But since in the west the nations are considered much more progressed and a bigger civilizations than us arabs lets be honest here every technology we use today is made in your countries thats why your leaders and elites are focused on maintaining their power using every mean possible that is exactly why I believe the bible and turah are changed in a way that would help them not be condemned in what ever they do. But the real preserved versions are 100% definitely there and exists
@@daxvanderwal thats why dictators are more common in the middle east because in our countries if a leader wants to do something not agreed on by religion he has to force the people to accept his actions by killing and oppressing because he is not able to change quran as it is menorized by over a 150 million muslims young and old in every generation. But your leaders are smarter they want to have things go their way but bot by force they want people to be on board someway or another
Just wanted to add this. As Muslims we recite Surah Al-Fatiha 17Times or more on a daily basis. 17 times on our 5 Daily Compulsory prayer. That is just in our compulsory Salah not to mention Sunah and nafl. Thanks AND Praises to Allah for blessing us with a beautiful way of life ameen.
Hi to you brother, thank you for your video. The Quran doesn’t contradict the previous editions of Gods messages (the Torah and the Bible), the Quran corrects them since they have been changed by man. One of the reasons God revealed his newest, most updated and final edition of his messages (The Quran) is to correct and identify the corruptions in his previous messages from the remaining truths in them.
It is very easy to refute Islam! Because the God of Islam does not know that according to Christianity God incarnated True love = the love of God! *God himself went to the cross for you out of love for you as a human being* Philippians 2:5-8
@@emmaschmidt4774 God sent himself to be sacrificed by His own creation, allowing them to beat Him up, torture and hang Him naked on a wooden cross in order to save everyone from His own wrath? Is that about right?
All religions presented themselves as Llies when they denied Jesus his sacrifice! God is holy and therefore inevitably always righteous. So God can never be merciful, gracious, because grace is not justice and therefore is wrong! A holy God can only be holy if he Never does wrong !! So Fact is without Jesus his SACRIFICE out of love for us we would all be lost! Only YHWH is not lying when he says he is HOLY and merciful! Who is YHWH equal? Exactly no one!! JESUS gave himself as a sin offering !! A pure life for a life !! Because we have to be holy = without guilt otherwise God will judge us fair and just !! Jesus is YHWH and thus the Creator of everything and thus has the weight to wash the whole creation clean with these pure lives (Blood) !! God bless you
Salam brother! Yes, the ‘Besmellah’ verse is part of the opening chapter and it is verse No1. All other ‘Besmellahs’ are part of instructed openings automatically added to start each chapter but are not counted as part of the verses except of the opening chapter.
Verse No. 1 ever revealed to our prophet is "iq'rah" not the surah fatiha so its not part and its also not verse 1... iqrah means read which he couldnt because he was illiterate...
Brother, why did you ignore the word 'by Allah's leave'?in 3:49. If you really wanna do this just change the attitude a little bit, think maybe it Can be the word of God,just give it a chance, just for once. My question to christians is this, If God is continusly telling us to worship Him and Him Alone, they why are you insisting on making Him three,If god wanted us to worship him in three faces he would have made is clear and precise.just like He mentions that He is one. There would have been no other question, why the hid and seek why in the whole life time juses didn’t tell people to worshipe, worship me worship me?where God is saying several times that He is one and only and you are instisting otherwise.
All the miracles performed by Prophet Jesus are by the will of Allah. Jesus in John 5:30 in the Bible says " I can of mine own self do nothing:as I hear,I judge:and my judgement is just;because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." This chapter tells you he was sent, therefore he s a messenger.
Qur'an, It's not just a book with beautiful words. But it also contains undeniable phropecies, histories, guidance of life, Knowlege of sains and universe, and knowlege of the unseen creatures. There is no any single mistake in it. I'm not sure if human can produce a book like Qur'an. I suggest you to find mistakes as many as you can find in Qur'an and you can ask muslim scholars or open public debate to find the answers.
Hello DAX hope you are doing well and I'm happy you started your journey i just wanted to point out that it's very different when you read the Quran in English than Arabic I'm not saying it's bad but sometimes some words cannot be translated correctly to English for instance the word "LORD" in the Arabic is "Rabb" there is no word in English for Rabb so they translated ot to lord you would have whole chapter if you want to explain the meaning of "Rabb". I'm not a scholar to explain it correctly. But for starter keep reading i enjoyed it and for future i highly suggest that if you have any questions you should reach to a scholar.
The First Word revealed to Prophet Mohammad PBUH was NOT BISMILLAH.. It was "IQRA" , Which means to Read or Recite. 😊 The Quraan was not revealed in Order, different verses were revealed depending on the Situations, Wars and Questions asked to the Prophet by His companions during the whole Period of 23years of His Prophethood.
I don't think allah ever reveal Aqra to Mohammad. didn't allah know that Mohammad couldn't write or read and never learned, what you say make no sense.
@Sura2 Proyect Go and see the definition what RECITE means. The ANGEL Gabriel is telling the words to the Prophet to Recite , He is not reading them himself ! Common sense?
Before a muslim start a prayer we recite these dua: I sincerely submit to Allah and I am certainly not among those who associate Allah with other beings. Indeed my Solat, my good deeds, my life and my death are all for Allah The Lord of all the worlds.
Guys .. (God) in Aramaic (the actual language of Jesus (PBUH) is Allah) .. Honestly I want to answer so many of your questions but I don't like answering any Islamic thing without clear references from the Quran or the Prophet's authentic sayings .. so I will suggest what other suggested .. find a scholar .. He must always answer with references.
good start. hoping reading Quran will open your heart and vision to Islam. please read it in an intention of finding the truth. may Allah guide your heart to the truth.
The part about hardening the heart, it’s the same, your heart will only harden if you go away from god. I remember in the Quran it says(I think it’s in surah al baqara, but correct me if I’m wrong). In their hearts is sickness, and Allah has increased their sickness. I mean think about it, what happens when someone turns away from god and is a sinner? They will sin more and more, it will become harder for them to get close to god
As Muslim I am convinced that basmala is part of the Qur'an. We start reading the Quran with " We seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the expelled [from His mercy]. " this is not part of the Qur'an. But the Quran command us to say that. Great video brother 👍🏼
interesting idea❤keep going.even if you didnt convert or anything its still a beautiful message for people of both traditions and we should be allies instead of enemies. for better understandinf is to watch like explainations and quranic miracles short videos it is amazing
Hey...um ur new subscriber...i really found ur questions genuine and i hope by the end of the series all of your misconceptions will get cleared..just keep enquiring❤️
My dear brother iam watching it from PAKISTAN i can understand ENGLISH about 70 percent so plz try to add english subtitles which will help us to understand it fully
This is guy is very dishonest and his preaching indirectly putting confusion and dirt on Islam. Example is when talk about Bismallah or pharaoh. Bismallah is something Muslims are commended to say when doing an action and reading the Quran. Example, Solomon began his letter to the Queen of the Sheba (or Saba). "It is from Solomon, and it reads: ‘In the Name of Allah-the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful."27:30. If he had done any reading/research or asked anyone before making this video he would have known this easily. No, instead he want to make insinuation that the Quran has addition/subtraction from man like the bible. These Christians preachers are sneak and deceptive like this. He says the pharaoh is given a chance in the bible and He (pharaoh) denies GOD and thus Jesus/GOD condom him after this process. Thus, free will and choice is there in the bible but not in the Quran. If this guy was sincere or read the Quran in total or read chapter 2 (cow), it shows the varies chances ALLAH swt gave Pharaoh when he sent Mosses/Aaron with his ten great signs(opportunity to recognize GOD). Allah says in the Quran regarding the Pharaoh: 20:42--"Go forth, you and your brother, with My signs and never falter in remembering Me." 20-43--"Go, both of you, to Pharaoh, for he has truly transgressed ˹all bounds˺." 20:44--"Speak to him gently, so perhaps he may be mindful ˹of Me˺ or fearful ˹of My punishment˺.” 20-46--"So go to him and say, ‘Indeed we are both messengers from your Lord, so let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And salvation will be for whoever follows the ˹right˺ guidance." If this preacher (pretending to be honest Christian and doing comparative study) had read before doing this video that is disseminating incorrect information about Quran/Islam in order to shed a better light to Christianity. You have bible changes as recent as 50-30 years. You Christians says the Bible is an inspiration in order to make the corruption in it less apprehensive to reader given that this is suppose to be from the Almight might GOD. The Quran is NOT inspired or inspiration. Its a revelations Quran 26:192-197 This is certainly a revelation from the Lord of all worlds, which the trustworthy spirit ˹Gabriel˺ brought down into your heart ˹O Prophet˺-so that you may be one of the warners in a clear Arabic tongue. And it has indeed been ˹foretold˺ in the Scriptures of those before. Was it not sufficient proof for the deniers that it has been recognized by the knowledgeable among the Children of Israel?1 Footnote i.e., ’Abdullâh ibn Salâm, a Jewish authority, who accepted Islam during the time of the Prophet (ﷺ).
110. (Remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection). "O 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Remember My Favour to you and to your mother when I supported you with Ruh-ul-Qudus [Jibrael (Gabriel)] so that you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and when I taught you writing, Al-Hikmah (the power of understanding), the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel); and when you made out of the clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My Permission, and you breathed into it, and it became a bird by My Permission, and you healed those born blind, and the lepers by My Permission, and when you brought forth the dead by My Permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from you (when they resolved to kill you) since you came unto them with clear proofs, and the disbelievers among them said: 'This is nothing but evident magic.' " 111. And when I (Allah) put in the hearts of Al-Hawarieen (the disciples) [of 'Iesa (Jesus)] to believe in Me and My Messenger, they said: "We believe. And bear witness that we are Muslims." 112. (Remember) when Al-Hawariun (the disciples) said: "O 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Can your Lord send down to us a table spread (with food) from heaven?" 'Iesa (Jesus) said: "Fear Allah, if you are indeed believers." 113. They said: "We wish to eat thereof and to be stronger in Faith, and to know that you have indeed told us the truth and that we ourselves be its witnesses." 114. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: "O Allah, our Lord! Send us from heaven a table spread (with food) that there may be for us - for the first and the last of us - a festival and a sign from You; and provide us sustenance, for You are the Best of sustainers." 115. Allah said: "I am going to send it down unto you, but if any of you after that disbelieves, then I will punish him with a torment such as I have not inflicted on anyone among (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns)." 116. And (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): "O 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: 'Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?' " He will say: "Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would surely have known it. You know what is in my inner-self though I do not know what is in Yours, truly, You, only You, are the All-Knower of all that is hidden and unseen. 117. "Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allah) did command me to say: 'Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.' And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them, and You are a Witness to all things. (This is a great admonition and warning to the Christians of the whole world). 118. "If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily You, only You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise ." 119. Allah will say: "This is a Day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise) - they shall abide therein forever. Allah is pleased with them and they with Him. That is the great success (Paradise). 120. To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is therein, and He is Able to do all things. Qur’an Chapter-5 maida verse 110-120
Allah Sobhano does not mislead people, He shows them the right path and the wrong path for them to choose. He Sobhano wills it to happen after their choices. Son of Adam(people) and Jin have choices unlike the angels , they are created to obey Allah.
I think every prophet is unique in their way. For example, every miracle is given to a prophet. The prophets p.b.u.t do not Perform the miracles on their own, but rather with the help of Allah SWT. I would agree, that healing the sick and breathing life into a bird 🐦 built with clay is rather something God can do, but so is splitting the sea 🌊, splitting the moon 🌑, and More. Therefore, the Miracles of prophets do not make them god.
12:58 the verse you are referring to actually talks about when the scriptures were first revealed hence "and don't be the first disbelievers of it" later in the same verse we also believe that the bible and torah have some truths but we can't take them as fact because they've been corrupted
Hey! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I do see what you are saying but the "and don't be the first disbelievers of it" seems to be referring to the Quran. So Muhammad is telling the Jews and Christians to believe in the Quran and to not be the first disbelievers - because it confirms what they have with them (the Torah and Gospel). I also found this website with a few different interpretations that confirm that that - quranx.com/tafsirs/2.41 Let me know what you think!
Man I haven’t even watched the whole video but please keep this going. As a revert I haven’t finished reading the Quran. So I will go along side you bro
come on! that sounds so fun, I look forward to your thoughts along the way. Can I ask what you mean by "revert"? Did you grow up Muslim, then wander a little bit, and then come back?
@@daxvanderwal In Islam we believe everyone is born a "Muslim" meaning one who submits his/her will to the creator . Then the parents of the child change his/her religion , so saying that he reverted means that he came back to the religion that everyone human being is born upon in other words upon the "Fitra" or natural inclination to worship only one Unseen God that doesn't resemble his creation. The one who created all of us and he is the uncreated.
@@daxvanderwalwhen someone converts to lslam he/she is called a revert as we believe every human being is born a Muslim then the society changes that ( Christian, hindu....) lslam is not related to a certain prophet or people but it refers to the relationship between you and God .lslam means submission and obedience to Allah the one true God .we muslims believe lslam is the religion of all prophets since Adam tell Mohammed ( peace be upon them all)
@@daxvanderwal Actually the prophet [saw] said that every human being is born in dinul fitr meaning the religion of their conciousness and later on they start following what their parents follow. For example you know from your consciousness or nature that God knows everything and as a christian you are made to believe that Jesus[pbuh] is God but if you read the bible it clearly expresses that Jesus's [pbuh] knowledge was limited. So can see the contradiction between your natural religion and indoctrinated religion?
I salute your honest effort to try and understand the Quran and explore the similarities and differences between the different holy books. First of all, I would like to point out that the meaning of the verses comes with its context which is essential to get the true and correct meaning (which can be spread throughout several verses like a paragraph), and often the answer lies in the verses surrounding the one in question. Second of all, the Quran, as you will discover later in the series, invites to ask questions and meditate in the creation, and i find that, we as 'commun' Muslims, are not qualified enough in terms of knowledge to answer them accurately or maybe incapable of conveying the whole meaning of the answer. So I recommend asking it directly to some Muslim scholars or search for debates where the question is treated. May Allah guide us all to the right path.
Hey brother your very sincere and I like that I think you should react to a Quran recitation it’s called raad al Kurdi best recitation in the world good job
Oh yes my friend. The order of the verses is very important as well as sell as the situation at which each verse has been revealed to the prophet Muhammad. May ALLAH bless you

As Muslims, we recite "Bismillah" before doing anything. Like before we eat, step out of our homes, start our cars, etc. In a way, we do it with the Will of Allah in mind.
1. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim is the first verse of Surah al-Fatihah only. It's actually not added to other surahs, but rather, it's a habit and sunnah for Muslims to start a lot of things with reciting this verse first. So, yes, it's intentionally written in front of every surah in Quran but is not counted as the first verse for other surahs. It's only counted as the first verse for surah al-Fatihah only. I think you could see the numberings in the Quran. And yes, it'll be a big deal if we're confuse about the originality of any verses because we're told to preserve the original verses only, which were revealed from angel Gabriel to Prophet Muhammad saw. Hence, the memorization of the Quran by the Muslims population around the world since the time of Prophet Muhammad saw. One of my teachers has to go to the capital city every single year to recheck the Quran as a member of Quran audit system here. His job is to make sure that nothing change in the Quran every single years. And I believe the same system is installed in every Islamic country out there. We cross check the Quran all the time in the original Arabic words. 2. Not sure if it really means Lord, because Arabic and English are two different languages. But the Arabic word here is Rabbi, which I think can also be translated as just God. Both Allah and Rabbi are two different Arabic words that both can be translated as God. But Lord is also correct.

I'd like to say, for now, only a few things about El-Fatiha: 1) word faatiHa is never mentioned in the Qur'an, and none of the words from the same root (as fetH) is used in this surah 2) word faatiHa is a feminine active participle, which means that it should be for something feminine, as a women or some object which cannot be masculine or event or occasion or idea etc., and it's something which is active in the context used 3) root letters f-t-H can mean: in, inside (f), going back, reversing, starting over, restarting (t), life, moving (H), so the root could describe any action in which life or some moving would restart, etc... faatiHa as a tool can be anything which is enabling life or moving when it's stopped, paused or disabled 4) Fatiha is often recited to the dead, which goes with previously said 5) I understand faatiHa as a help whenever we're unable to help ourselves, that which solves our problems when we're not able to move on our own; so, all our problems could be solved by what is said in Fatiha 6) a phrase Bismillah (or bismila, besmala, basmala) consists of bi + ism + Allah 7) word "bi" has similar functions as English "by" (I believe it's its origin) and it often says about some tool; it can be rendered as "due, cause of, etc." also, it can be used to take an oath, to swear as in English 8) "ism" in this phrase is written different then in any other occasion which means that it has some different meaning; I see it as "prominence" 9) start as "By prominence of Allah" can mean that He's the most prominent and/or that what will follow is the most prominent (His Speech); after this goes "All praise is for Allah", so in the case of Fatiha, Bismillah is its 1st aayet (verse), because it's explaining why all praise is for Allah
hey brother! as a muslim I really enjoyed your video because you seemed a very honest person, although I could answer most of your questions but I would love to c u arguing with a muslim scholar so he could help you understand the misunderstandings with some sources. thanks! may allah guide you to the right path.
Brother Quran is the word of Allah revealed to our beloved prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) not the word of Muhammad (peace be upon him)
At 15:04 we believe that the prophets (pbut) were only sent to their people whereas Muhammad (S.A.W) was sent to the whole of humanity so there was no need to preserve the earlier revelations. Hope this helps inshallah😊
Brother great start for a great season ! Cant wait to hear more from you. Since i have already read the Quran I can safely say most questions you asked will be answered later on, but just want to point out although Im sure you must be aware that there exists numerical contradictions in the bible (for various reasons, although the original message received by God swt to Jesus PBUH was error-free. For example Samuel 24:13 and Chron. 21:12 , or Samuel 8:4 and Chron 18:4, or Kings 4:26 and Chron 9:25. With that in mind, we can say the bible is mostly true but is not completely true due to human errors such as translation errors and the deficiency of people that could read and write which did not help preserving the original message accurately. In addition to having a roman empire who tried to wipe out everything that had to do with Jesus PBUH during his times, so we can imagine the types of stories and propaganda that must've been going on at that time. My personal opinion is that, the Israelites were warned that the Messiah would be the king of Jews who will come and restore their glory. But the title of being "king" would be disrespectful to the Roman Empire and to the Emperor since he should always be the highest authority (hence switching to a Kingdom, where the King would be the closest individual to God), so this fact alone should create some skepticism. The Term "A'ouzo Billah Minna Al-Shaytan Al-Rajeem Bismillah Alrahman Al-Raheem" is not a verse of the Quran, but it is mandatory to say before the start of every chapter. It literally means I seek refuge in Allah from the Devil, In the name of Allah thr most Merciful the most Gracious. In terms of the free-will, you always ask great questions, Muslims believe exactly the same thing as you mentioned, Allah swt will not seal anyone's heart before sending them multiple signs and them rejecting them all. So yes we do believe in free-will. In fact the name Muslim means someones who submitted their free-will to God's will, i.e do what God has asked and avoid what He forbade. Listen to Dr. Abdulhakim Murad, he has a great lecture about free-will and determinism, where is short he says life is a mixture of both free-will and determinism. Concerning 2:41 and what muslims believe about the Torah and Bible, we do believe they are true revelations and messages given to prophets by the same God, Allah, which you will see are also mentioned by name, Injil (in arabic for bible) and Torah, such as in 3:18 or 9:111 in the Quran. But those messages were revealed orally to their people who then wrote them down some years later. Since then those original scriptures have been lost, but what we have are copies of those scriptures but in different languages, such as the bible who was revealed in Arameic but written down in Greek. When translating words, their meaning become less accurate. But when God tells us something, it should be so accurate that sometimes we might need need sophisticated technology to understand the revelation. We also need to know that when the Quran was revealed to Mohammed PBUH, there was a great debate and confusion amongst Jews and Christians about Jesus PBUH (the Messiah) and what had just happened throughout his events. So the Quran was revealed to confirm some things and disclaim others. For example the Jews did not believe that Jesus PBUH is the Messiah, while Christians believe Jesus PBUH is the Messiah but is also God (Astaghfirullah). So the Quran came to confirm the Messianic truth of Jesus, but will later on through the book will disclaim the Godly aspects for Jesus. So along in the Quran you will find Allah confirming some things in thr Torah and the Gospel, but then clearing the confusion on other things. In terms of the verse "produce a chapter like it", there's currently no complete answer for your question, since up until now we are still learning about the Quran and all the miracles in it. There are numerical miracles, scientific signs which are miraculous signs since most of them could only be confirmed using advanced technology, theres a very poetic aspect to the Quran making a lot of linguistic miracles. In each chapter, and along the whole Quran, you will find a systematic pattern called the Ring composition. I will not explain it here since my comment is way too long already but you can research it. Concerning 3:39, the word "word' has been used for both Jesus PBUH and Adam PBUH, since both of them were born miraculously by God just saying "Be" then they became, unlike all other human beings who needs both parents to come into existence, so both were created using only Gods word. For 3:49, it is true that only God has the power to bring back the dead or give life, and when Jesus performed those miracles, they were a guidance and revelation from God, and as the verse says "by God's leave" or in arabic "Bi Izn Illah" which precisely means if Allah permitted. In other words if God did not want to, no one will ever be able to, not even Jesus or Muhammad PBUT. For 3:135, you compared it with the Gospel of Mark, here Muslims would differ with you in this method since we believe thr Quran is the Gospel of God, while Mark is the Gospel of a human, Mark. The difference in Islam is that the Gospel of Muhammad PBUH is called Hadith, and is written on a separate book than the Quran so we distinguish between the two, although they should never contradict (and if they do that means the specifc Hadith is not accurate and has low authenticity). Epistemologically, when (and if) Jesus PBUH told a man he was forgiven, it doesn't mean that Jesus forgave him, since only God can forgive sins. In this case, God mustve revealed to Jesus that this man's sins will be forgiven and he is from the people of paradise. Prophet Muhammad did the same thing, when Allah swt revealed to him that specific individuals will be from the resident of heaven, Muhammed PBUH went and told them that they are guaranteed paradise (they were 10 individuals in total). Yes we do admit Jesus PBUH did miraculous thing through Gods will, so technically its God doing those mircales through our prophets. Allah knows best. If i said anything wrong in coming from my unperfect being, and if i said anything right it is due to God. God bless you for this sincere journey and I pray you find the blessed and true path 🤲🏽🤗 May Allah guide us all 🤲🏽❤️
This guy seems very genuine and very respectful thank you for not judging and listening to silly people who are islamaphobic atleast you are looking at the quran yourself rather then listening to people great cant wait to watch this!!
Dr ali ataie jesus was not crucified proof please watch this there's also a British gentleman in the video and there's also all the statements written on the screen of all the events and everything in the proofs. I urge you to watch this I watched it I did shocking to my core I mean I already knew a lot of it, but somethings I had no idea and it is shocking like for real you have to watch it and please let me know what you think. I mean if you want to do a reaction on it. You can do an hour a day because it's like three hours. It's very good I urge you to watch it. I mean you said you are looking for truth, so historical evidences are proof so nobody can really deny them
But to be honest with you, if you ended up watching it, you will not be able to leave it till the next day I was so into it I couldn't leave it. I had to watch it all at once, and my kids were running around the house going crazy but I still have to watch it. I love knowing about history. In fact, this is who I've always been not even study the Bible in the Torah that's the kind of person I am even though I'm a Muslim uno i still like to know about the other abrahamic faitns but Alhamdulalah allah never disappoints when you are sincerely looking for truth, he will literally show you the truth and when you're trying your best to look for a lie or look for some thing that makes you just believe in the feelings you have towards that thing that's what happens
As much as I know, this lord is the translation for the word "rab" in Arabic, which emphasizes that God did not just create us and leave us behind . God is taking care of us every single second of our lives. Actually, it's a very important meaning for us .
The first chapter of the Quran has 7 verses (including bismilla), 29 words, and 139 letters, i.e. 7+(2+9)+(1+3+9) = 31. See how Allah has constructed this chapter: - Total number of letters in the FIRST word of each verse = 31 - Total number of letters in the SECOND word of each verse = 31 - Total number of letters in the THIRD word of each verse = 31 - Allah’s name is mentioned 6 times in this chapter, and the total number of letters in those words = 31 - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd words as above together have 31 dots in their letters. However, dots were introduced to Arabic a few hundred years after Quran was revealed. Now, go to the 31st chapter in the Quran, which has 34 verses. It starts after mentioning 3 letters (no one knows the meaning of these letters). But if you count the 1st of the three letters in the FIRST word of 34 verses, you will find it’s used 31 times. If you count the 1st of the three letters again in the SECOND word of 34 verses, you will it’s used 31 times. You also numerically prove in other ways beyond any doubt, bismillah in this surah is part of the Quran.
First of all, you're amazing for doing this. I can understand your questions and confusion. When I read the Bible at first, I was too confused. That was because I did not read it with other knowledge apart from reading it just like any other book. The Quran is a revelation, in which to understand each verse, there are 'sciences' behind it, meaning that there is a proper method to read and understand it. But kudos for your first effort. As mentioned by many of my brothers and sisters here, there are many scholars in The States who would be happy (I'm sure) to help you further understand this Holy Book and why Muslims claim that Islam came to justify the previous books and rectify the corrupted portions. Your questions are quite justified, although discussing three chapters in half an hour is quite fast when many of us Muslims can't even finish reciting the second chapter (in Arabic of course - for non Arab speakers) within that half hour. Maybe further on in your journey, you'd like to add new information and knowledge you have obtained, discussing each of your question in deep length. I'm sure that would benefit many, even Muslims.
Fair & Clear ☝🏻
Ali Ataie would good one 💪
No. He sounds like an islamophob. He is not asking questions he is trying to expose Islam.

Just pray to God to guide you ,He will do
I think it's okay, since a lot of converts had those same motives, to prove that Islam (and Quran) has flaws, and to prove that Christian is the truer religion or the only truth.
Finally, I will give you these verses to reconsider:
John 5:30 : I can of mine own self do nothing.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”
3 At this, some of the teachers of the Law said to themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!”
4 Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?
@@raphaelfeneje486
The Quran manuscript in the Birmingham university dates to the time of the prophet.

Open mind? That's clearly not the case. the focus of this video is criticism. It embodies the Surah 2:7 regarding closed/sealed hearts and sights.
Surah Al-Ankabut (The Spider)
Also I highly recommend this video to you: ruclips.net/video/4s2UTAtSKd0/видео.html
7. As for you question on predestination and free-will, it is wonderfully explained here: ruclips.net/video/v6IlDV3cGgY/видео.html
See Abdullah ibn Salam and Salman al Farasi
Story of Salman al Farasi: ruclips.net/video/TpO89LMFcno/видео.html
Jesus was created like Adam was created, God said "Be" and he was.

Why don’t you go on dawah podcasts, so they can explain the versus and answer your questions.
i'm agree with it
100% agree
Spoiler:
quran 18:29 "And say, "The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve." Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose walls will surround them.
Great explanation ahki
@@daxvanderwal another thing to add God is transcendent of everything , transcendent of time , He gave us free will and put us in circumstances and He already knows what will we do with our free will in each of the circumstances.

Alhamdulillah. AI computers can be given half of the surah and cannot produce anything close to the second half.
Proof for Islam score: Strong.

_There are, in the land, neighboring plots. In them, gardens of vineyards, cornfields, palm trees mono-root and otherwise, all watered with the same water, yet We make the yield of some better than others: Certainly, in that is evidence for rational thinkers._ - Interpretation of Quran 13.04
If seed plant evolved naturally, how possible could it be to evolve into diversity and variation grains, fruits, vegetables. then change the flavor of oranges sour, mild, very sweet? How did nature know that human beings have hands that plant, nose that smells and tongue that tastes and teeth that cuts and stomach that digests.
This type of correlation implies causality. Therefore, an apple is flavored because human being can taste. Flavor is varied because there is differences in the perception of flavors and so on.
Proof for Islam score: strong.
Discovery: Cosmic Dust
Academic field: Astronomy
Allah, The Beneficent The Merciful, mentions:
9-Say, "Do you really disbelieve in the One Who created the earth in two days? Do you consider things equal to Him? He is the Lord of the Universe.
10-And He placed on the earth firmly set mountains over its surface, and He blessed it and determined therein its [creatures'] sustenance in four days without distinction - for [the information] of those who ask.
11-Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, "Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion." They said, "We have come willingly”.
(Chapter No. 41, Fussilat)
What makes these verses extraordinary?
Discovery of the cosmic dust. In 41.11, The Quran orders the skies and earth to come into being from smoke like in fairy tales.
“The Universe is a very dusty place. Cosmic dust consists of tiny particles of solid material floating around in the space between the stars. It is not the same as the dust you find in your house but more like smoke with small particles varying from collections of just a few molecules to grains of 0.1 mm in size. Dust is important because we find lots of it around young stars. In fact it helps them to form, and it is also the raw material from which planets like the Earth are formed.”

@@daxvanderwal you’re welcome! The other challenge the Quran gives and this is for everyone, the Quran says had this book come from other than god, surely in it you would find many errors and contradictions
It's nice to meet you! I was hoping the Netherlands would win the world cup this year - they were looking good! And thank you for taking the time
Had the same thought, the name really clicks Belgian or Dutch. I myself am from Belgium.🤗

@@daxvanderwal Surah fatiha is actually a prayer when you will read it you will find out that its not Allah talking to us but rather it is we talking about Allah and praying him for guidance.
I’ve watched half of your video and I’ve noticed that you made some claims that’s not true such as contradicting the Quran of saying that Quran has no connection with torah and gospel. And that Quran is contradicting the prophets.
Actually you will find within the bible this contradictions between old and New Testament, and how (god) keeps changing his mind and contradicting what revealed before it.. and more other claims that has nothing to do with truth.
And for all the questions that you asks your audience to answer is not a good way of finding the right answers, for that I suggest you to have a discussion or dialogue through your channel with one of the muslims that has knowledge of the religion and especially in comparison of religions, that would be more beneficial for you and for your audience.

The answer to your question is in Surat Al-Baqarah, verse 79. God threatens those who distorted His books and added from themselves.
"So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn."

Hadith maybe can be discussed as being either authentic or week narration However the Quran has no speculation what so ever.
The Quran has nothing added or taken away and is literally impossible to change due to millions of Muslims memorizing the Arabic version.
The word “Lord” is simply used for English translation. Thats why the importance of having the Quran preserved in its original language so that we can go back to it for the true meaning. The word used for Lord is Rabb ربّ and it has six implications:
1. AlMalik: The one who owns everything.
2. AsSayyid: The one who has complete authority over everything.
3. AlMurabbi: The one who ensures growth and maturity of everything.
4. AlMurshid: The one who guides everything.
5. AlQayyim: The one who ensures existence of everything.
6. AlMunʿim: The one who grants gifts to everything.

"إِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ ۗ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ"
"Allah is my Lord and your Lord, therefore, worship Him. This is the Straight Path"

"Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'""

There is a hadith that says, { Every child that is born, is born upon the Fitrah, but his parents make him a Jew, a Christian, or a Zoroastrian. }
This means that every child is born on the fitrah, which is Islam, and when he grows up, his religion is determined according to the environment in which he lives.
Or do you want to follow the good
Therefore, those who follow the bad follow it because they want it and desire it. The same applies to those who follow the good
God made this life a test for us and presented the world to us with good and bad, so that He would see who would follow His orders and walk the right path, and who would turn away from Him.

He must always answer with references.
good start. hoping reading Quran will open your heart and vision to Islam. please read it in an intention of finding the truth. may Allah guide your heart to the truth.
im praying for your journey. whether it's good or not for you that's for God to decide. ❤
Thanks for showing love and respect!
The "word " referring to Jesus (peace and blessing of Allah be upon) is BE.
WHEN ALLAH SOBHANO ORDERS A MATTER HE ONLY SAYS 'BE' AND IT HAPPENS.
The reason that Jesus was created by the word 'be' is because his birth is a miracle as he has no father.
God bless you with ur journey brother and hope you find truth that may satisfy your heart.

Hi Dax please more islamic content!
Btw you have a Dutch last name! Greetings from Amsterdam!
I got you! haha of course! I haven't been able to visit but it's on my bucket list. I appreciate the greetings
As Muslim I am convinced that basmala is part of the Qur'an. We start reading the Quran with " We seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the expelled [from His mercy]. " this is not part of the Qur'an. But the Quran command us to say that.

thank you for this message and encouragement! I totally agree, I don't see a lot of peaceful dialogue in this area but I think it's possible.

Every prophet had a specific calling and title
does not make them GODS
Allah says in the Quran regarding the Pharaoh:
20:42--"Go forth, you and your brother, with My signs and never falter in remembering Me."
20-43--"Go, both of you, to Pharaoh, for he has truly transgressed ˹all bounds˺."
20:44--"Speak to him gently, so perhaps he may be mindful ˹of Me˺ or fearful ˹of My punishment˺.”
20-46--"So go to him and say, ‘Indeed we are both messengers from your Lord, so let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And salvation will be for whoever follows the ˹right˺ guidance."
If this preacher (pretending to be honest Christian and doing comparative study) had read before doing this video that is disseminating incorrect information about Quran/Islam in order to shed a better light to Christianity.
You have bible changes as recent as 50-30 years. You Christians says the Bible is an inspiration in order to make the corruption in it less apprehensive to reader given that this is suppose to be from the Almight might GOD. The Quran is NOT inspired or inspiration. Its a revelations
Quran 26:192-197
This is certainly a revelation from the Lord of all worlds,
which the trustworthy spirit ˹Gabriel˺ brought down
into your heart ˹O Prophet˺-so that you may be one of the warners
in a clear Arabic tongue.
And it has indeed been ˹foretold˺ in the Scriptures of those before.
Was it not sufficient proof for the deniers that it has been recognized by the knowledgeable among the Children of Israel?1

115. Allah said: "I am going to send it down unto you, but if any of you after that disbelieves, then I will punish him with a torment such as I have not inflicted on anyone among (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns)."
116. And (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): "O 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: 'Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?' 117.
118. "If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily You, only You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise ."
119. Allah will say: "This is a Day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise) - they shall abide therein forever. Allah is pleased with them and they with Him. That is the great success (Paradise).

12:58 the verse you are referring to actually talks about when the scriptures were first revealed hence "and don't be the first disbelievers of it" later in the same verse
we also believe that the bible and torah have some truths but we can't take them as fact because they've been corrupted
I also found this website with a few different interpretations that confirm that that - quranx.com/tafsirs/2.41
Let me know what you think!
There's also another term, non believers and disbelievers
Salaam brother, we Muslim use Bissmillah in every beginning of a daily actions
@@daxvanderwalwhen someone converts to lslam he/she is called a revert as we believe every human being is born a Muslim then the society changes that ( Christian, hindu....) lslam is not related to a certain prophet or people but it refers to the relationship between you and God .lslam means submission and obedience to Allah the one true God .we muslims believe lslam is the religion of all prophets since Adam tell Mohammed ( peace be upon them all)
@@truckkun5034 I didn't know that! Thank you for sharing

As Muslims, we recite "Bismillah" before doing anything. Like before we eat, step out of our homes, start our cars, etc. In a way, we do it with the Will of Allah in mind.
We fully support you on your journey☺️
Dax Van Der Wal, all these questions that you have are great but you should approach a scholar of Islam, not any RUclips audience, if you are sincere.
I'm glad I've found your channel. I'd like to say, for now, only a few things about El-Fatiha:
1) word faatiHa is never mentioned in the Qur'an, and none of the words from the same root (as fetH) is used in this surah
2) word faatiHa is a feminine active participle, which means that it should be for something feminine, as a women or some object which cannot be masculine or event or occasion or idea etc., and it's something which is active in the context used
3) root letters f-t-H can mean: in, inside (f), going back, reversing, starting over, restarting (t), life, moving (H), so the root could describe any action in which life or some moving would restart, etc... faatiHa as a tool can be anything which is enabling life or moving when it's stopped, paused or disabled
4) Fatiha is often recited to the dead, which goes with previously said
5) I understand faatiHa as a help whenever we're unable to help ourselves, that which solves our problems when we're not able to move on our own; so, all our problems could be solved by what is said in Fatiha
6) a phrase Bismillah (or bismila, besmala, basmala) consists of bi + ism + Allah
7) word "bi" has similar functions as English "by" (I believe it's its origin) and it often says about some tool; it can be rendered as "due, cause of, etc." also, it can be used to take an oath, to swear as in English
8) "ism" in this phrase is written different then in any other occasion which means that it has some different meaning; I see it as "prominence"
9) start as "By prominence of Allah" can mean that He's the most prominent and/or that what will follow is the most prominent (His Speech); after this goes "All praise is for Allah", so in the case of Fatiha, Bismillah is its 1st aayet (verse), because it's explaining why all praise is for Allah
hey brother! as a muslim I really enjoyed your video because you seemed a very honest person, although I could answer most of your questions but I would love to c u arguing with a muslim scholar so he could help you understand the misunderstandings with some sources. thanks! may allah guide you to the right path.

I appreciate the kind words!
For example
Samuel 24:13 and Chron. 21:12 , or
Samuel 8:4 and Chron 18:4, or Kings 4:26 and Chron 9:25.

See how Allah has constructed this chapter:
- Total number of letters in the FIRST word of each verse = 31
- Total number of letters in the SECOND word of each verse = 31
- Total number of letters in the THIRD word of each verse = 31
- Allah’s name is mentioned 6 times in this chapter, and
the total number of letters in those words = 31
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd words as above together have 31 dots in their letters.
Love you brother, keep up the good work!!
I'm not here to question your string of thoughts but, it's better to think in whole verses than parcel of verse.
