“I wake up every morning in a bed that’s to small. Drive my daughter to a school that’s too expensive. Then I go to work at a job for which I get payed to little. But on Pretzel Day...well I like Pretzel Day 😏” -Stanley Hutson
Tbh, he’s the one character who really embodies the feel of the original UK version The Office ie someone who is only there for the money and would rather be anywhere else in the world. Everything and everyone else in the US version is more optimistic
The one moment between the two characters where they have some respect and admiration for each other, despite Stanley's explicit dislike of Michael. It's just so perfect.
stanley stood in a line that's too long, walked over for the pretzel that's too cheap, didn't let phyllis cut the line on pretzel day; well he likes pretzel day
There was a nice deleted scene from this episode where Stanley and Michael enjoy their pretzels outside - Stanley makes a that’s what she said joke and the two laugh 😁
This is one of my favorite episodes. Not only do you have the pretzel day subplot, but the main plot where Dwight takes Ryan out to his first sales call and he has to wrestle Mose. Classic stuff
I've always been the Dwight Schrute of the office everywhere I've worked. Lining up for pretzels wastes working hours, and the sugar energy from pretzels could easily be obtained with secret Schrute family mashed beet surprise (the surprise is the bones).
i think there's a deleted scene with him and stanley eating their pretzels together. i wont tell you what else happens there, but it's an awesome scene they shouldnt have deleted.
I had never heard that song before, and when I did hear it, I did not care for it. However, that song means it's time to go home, so now, *smiles* it's my favorite song.
I really love how Michael told Pam she couldn't order for him as he likes them a certain way, and she might screw it up, then he just orders everything.
My favorite part of this scene is Michael telling Pam when she offers to get it for him, "You wouldn't know what I want", when he asks for all the toppings anyway, lol.
Stanley complaining about not getting paid enough, but sleeps on the job, pretends to work as he does puzzles, and gives everyone attitude. Ok he's right, give him a raise
That line from Stanley, if I was a casting director, I would make every actor read that just to evaluate how they do it. It's just perfect, it completely explains the character and his emotions.
"I wake up every morning in a bed that's too small, driving my daughter to a school that's too expensive, and then I go to work for a job for which pays too little, but on Pretzel Day? Well I like Pretzel Day." - Stanley Hudson
The scene where Michael caught her cutting in line to talk to Bob was the first time I’ve seen Stanley sincerely side with Michael.

That's some brilliant acting right there
the look on his eyes as the guy talks through the toppings is so funny, he's trying to take it all in
On a real though how could you decide if you hear of those 18 toppings for the first time? Michael stumbles upon something brilliant just then.
that’s my favorite part. There is so much childlike wonder in his eyes, like a kid in the Willy Wonka factory.
Steve is such a good actor
I love how Stanley and Michael team up to stop Phyllis from cutting in line.
This is Pretzel Day.

No, you should've seen him in Florida in his car with Jim.
You should’ve seen him run into the room to yell at me. It was a scary sight.

Those were the wisest words I’ve ever heard
Stanley is pretty much the every day working man being forced to deal with people's bs on daily basis.

The way Stanley says "boo" is hilarious 😄 always gets me 😂
1:30 Phyllis wants Bob to join her at the end of the line.
But just like Stanley and Michael he can't resist pretzels.😂😂😂
Ha! I've always just watched the faces. She grabs for his hand and he denies it. That's hilarious!

I’d be willing to put aside A LOT of grudges and dislikes in exchange for good free food.
1:43 No wonder the line is so long. The pretzel guy has to repeat the long list of toppings for everyone. And then Michael asks for all of them! LOL
You forgot the part where Michael has a sugar rush
