    Hi Will. You mentioned that LR doesn’t do the geometry as well as ACR/PS? Are they not both using the same engine (ACR)? Thanks!

      Essentially yes they are the same thing they are just implemented in different ways. But what I am talking about specifically is the guided alignment tools. ACR has better micro adjustments and control than Lightroom. If you hold alt (windows) while you are plotting the alignment guides you get a zoomed-in view and finer control over where you place the endpoints. In ACR that fine control is super fine, like pixel-perfect. In Lightroom, it's not. It's very jumpy and not as easy to work with. There are a few other architectural photographers on YT that prefer ACR for that as well. Lightroom however does have a better way of constraining to crop when you are using the sliders in the transform panel. Typically for real estate work, I use Lightroom because of the speed, and for high-end and architecture stuff I use ACR in Photoshop because of its much finer control.
