Beautiful rendition! You play this solfeggio very accurate 👏🏻
Good example for the great composing works by Bach‘s son 😃

I don't want to be mean or annoying by saying that, maybe you're just practicing, but it's supposed to be played faster, although you're playing it great at this tempo. Anyways, keep up the good work.

Hey, thanx for the constructive comment! "Prestissimo" can certainly mean "quite fast", so I agree with ya about the tempo. I have spent most of my life playing piano with an extremely "free" approach to rhythm (I really enjoy playing long solo stream-of-consciousness improvisations with basically no time signature, no steady unwavering pulse, etc...), and I'm OK with that.
What I'm hoping to accomplish here, with this piece, is to keep playing it as often as I can, and really try to use it more as an étude, to try and develop an almost robotic steadiness - especially when switching hands - because that has always been a, well I don't necessarily consider it a weakness, but let's just say certain bands that I have played with have not always appreciated my "style" (and others claim to really love it, so go figure). Thanx again!

The tempo indications were not provided by C.P.E. Bach; the ones referred to have been assumed in recent times. Therefore, it is not appropriate to assert that the piece should be played in any specific way other than what the seasoned musician deems suitable. That's not to say that a quicker interpretation isn't a good choice as well.

This tempo was probably considered fast in the mid 18th century. It certainly allows the music to speak.
