Any "boogie woogie" played on the piano is good stuff and I could listen to it all day and all night!! This lady is flat out amazing!!!!!
Just makes the heart feel good, rhythm of life its ups and downs... Hehe neighbours are hating me atm, or swinging in there kitchen busy breaking in the new speakers and they just had an hour or two of Lisista and Brenden plus a ton of metal and rock, got to break those things in properly though

My dad used to play this. Haven't heard it since 1992, I never knew the title. I am crying now, thank you for the beautiful memory and music.

BEAUTIFUL, and so was the music!!! Such talent and half the fun is watching her play. It's amazing how the brain allows fingers, feet and eyes to do separate tasks and not make any mistakes. It's very difficult if not impossible to sit still when she is playing. Thank you Ladyva for sharing your talents with us.
Right hand octaves and trills are precise. The groove and dynamics are soulful and stretch all the way to the toes. She is a special talent.

This lovely girl doesn't just play the piano, she plays with it. She gives us some really nice Boogie Woogie. I wouldn't be surprised if some old man in a chair due to old age, gets up and starts doing the Boogie Woogie. You won't stop him that easily.

This just brings back so many happy memories of the 1970's (when I was in my early teens) when my late Mum used to play Boogie Woogie on our home piano! I became reasonably good in replicating the left hand (bass) lines but, due to a disability in my right hand, could never quite manage the 'right hand' bits! Thanks for bringing back precious memories!

My mother was piano player and teacher. Since I was a young boy her music on the piano and on her records touched my soul deeply. So when I hear someone like Ladyva, her own essence shines through this classical piano boogie to touch the essence of my own soul. Thank you for being you dear.
I am 81 and all this boogi was my youg life in the 40s and 50s i loved it then and love it now u tube keep playing it for us oldes i can listen and wach for hours thank you ray gallagher for ever young
I grew up on this music, my late father loved to play boogie boogie and Scott Joplin on an old upright piano until he had a stroke and quit playing. I still absolutely love the music and Ladyva is one of the best!
As a kid I remember my mom and aunt (both Juilliard trained pianists) playing 4 hand Boogie Woogie for me, my sis and cousins back in the 70s. We would run around the room, lock arms and spin until we were so dizzy we couldn't stand up. Best memories ever!
You need to watch her play with Dr. K, Brendan Kavanaugh. They are truly amazing together. 🎹

She is as good as any boogie Woogie player I've ever heard. And close to a Steve Wonder in play, period.
Believe me, there is heaps of boogie woogie players wayyyyy better than her. But to be fair, she is pretty good. If you want to listen to the absolute pinnacle of boogie Woogie then try Johan Blohm.
And Stevie Wonder could have played the socks off her in his heydays.

The lady in the front row was NOT clapping "out of time".
She was clapping on the offbeat (common re jazz) instead of the downbeat (common re hillbillies)
@@shurshot2764 Clapping on the off-beat is all well and good, but the problem is people not being in sync with the beat itself, whether the strong beats or the weak ones.
Ladyva is employing a "standard" Boogie Woogie technique: Her right leg is pumping out the beat "like an old steam drill".
