Hey Gregor, I'm a unranked siege player doing solo quick play, always trying to find gadget interactions and other cool aspects and angles of the game. You were a serious inspiration for the way that I play the game when I started playing in Wind Bastion, I am a Monty main that uses him to learn about gadget interactions in live matches, and I still get surprised by new things as new ops come out. I appreciate your operator videos, and most of the non-mechanical gameplay tips you get, instead of the basic stray Valk cam lineup or throwing a c4 into a gap the size of a 2x4. Mostly people show tricks that apply to certain locations or areas in the game, I enjoy that you have a different approach to the "how to" section of siege content.
Great video. One thing to note is that Vigil cloak works on Lion too. So if enemy has Vigil, i personally cant trust Lion scans and prefer to swap. On other side, when people pick Lion into my Vigil, it gives the option for some interesting plays😁
At first I was like WOW this is a LONG video. Ill be honest the more it went on, the more I was into watching it. You speak quickly, and clearly and packed a TON of information into this video. As someone who is newish to siege(less than 100 hours) over 7 years, this was INCREDIBLY helpful. I am really starting to enjoy R6 lately. Players are still verbally toxic but this game isn't nearly as bad as it once was with team killing and random kicking of players. This game was a toxic players paradise but lately I feel like its in a better place and NOW I feel like its my time to shine and learn this game. This video has made it INCREDIBLY fun for me. Thank you for such an INCREDIBLE video ❤
One slight mistake, warden and mozzies jobs are to either spawn peek and immediately get domed or to be 1.5x gremlins with 100% of their power being derived from raw aim
You can also place thorns under default plant spots which forces the attackers to move giving you a better position. Putting one under the coastline window in hookah with some barbed wire has gotten me so many kills
1:09:15 (Ela) I think that Ubisoft forced her to become an anchor because otherwise they would not have taken her impact grenades away. With the upcoming shield rework we still need her to make shield operators vulnerable. I would not count her out just yet.
Idk if anyone has said this. BUT you CAN counter a dokkabi call by standing on or near a mute jammer. If your in radius before the call your phone won’t go off. But if your outside of radius and it goes off walk threw the jammer and it stops the call with no phone animation. 👍
10:50 When prep phase starts, as Solis I immediately check exterior cams to see where majority of the team spawns, then head towards that direction using her scanner denying any drone’s. Pair that with ghost pressure and grabbing hatches if needed.
ela's mines are probably best utilised for audio (and shield) denial, youre pretty much completely deaf besides your ears ringing when you trigger the grzmot, so itd be best to take advantage of their inability to hear your audio cues while they're concussed. im sure theres also very particular situations where you can use it to deny plant without risk of walking into someone's cross
Thanks for the info! I main a very small amount of ops so wanted to brush up. You missed a very important point with Rook though which is that it gives your whole team the ability to self revive which can be HUGE!
I've said it before, i'll probably say it until the game gets shut down, Blackbeard's shield should have been hanging off the bottom of his gun, not on top. Then it can have a high durability and basically become a "can you click the head" check of an operator for the opponent while you still have body protection. Hell, make it half of a shield op's shield and you now have something resembling a niche
I feel like an Defence operator who has a bag like rook, but instead of it being full of armour plates its the refill box from T-Hunt. You get extra ammo and 1-2 extra gadgets from it. Think this would be cool. Maybe just 1 extra gadget though, i can imagine 2 being way too op for some operators

Of course, the know-it-all in my wants to point out some things you didn't include, but that's not necessary and you did a great job and it's 2 hours so I can't complain. The Ela nerf that I understood the least was when they nerfed her gadget, especially by removing the screenshake. I used to be an Ela main and that was my favourite part since it was basically a free kill when they hit the trap. Ela's high pickrate was never because of her gadget, it was because of her gun and her speed, so nerfing her gadget was the worst thing they could have done. I just wish they'd revert the change on her gadget
I am an Ela player who loves her oh so very much but like SHE NEEDS A BALENCING CHANGE like i think ubisoft could give her five grizmot mines instead of three and don't change the effect of it OR maybe make it slow you down a little bit or blind you a little more like she needs an upgrade.
Another usage for Azami is to block up important windows on Plane. Kali and Glaz can not shoot through them. Couple her with Rook, and defenders have almost completely shut down the snipers
Thorn actually have a decent play with defensive teammates. While the gadget is horrible at killing an enemy they are impressive in clutching default plant spots. I have tested the strategy many times myself. If you and your team could stall the time attackers have to breach into the bomb site even in 1v5 if the last player still alive in last seconds you could still win by thorn’s gadget.
Trying to get back into siege after at least 2 years off. I love the game but am probably the worst player out there (sry if you get on my team 😢). This vid at least got me up to speed on all these crazy gadgets zipping around everywhere
I think Fenrir is really strong but my god that’s too much micro management for me, to be effective that is I can place it and never change them but that feels like a waste

Her animations are even unique in that they minimise the noise of reloading? Ah well, I'll add it to my list of grievances like maverick losing his 'nades
You playing tachanka wrong. As the one of the only 2 lmg operator tachanka is really good at blocking 1 way path by prefire his lmg. The only other lmg operator on defense require to survive to use his cam gadget and run out of bullet too fast bc his gun shot 900bpm instead of 550bpm like tachanka so technically speaking tachanka gun can hold a position longer. His gadget is useful to reload his gun safely. Basically want to spay the lmg like recruit but on defense. You can hold for haft a match until you run out both lmg bullet and his gadget.
I tried queuing into a ranked match with my squamates and the game kicked me while it was matchmaking, and also as a new year gift it gave me a abandon sanction. It has been 8 years , when are ubisoft going to fix this system of theirs. Siege is kicking squamates for no reason in 6 out of 10 times. Can you talk about this? No one is looking into this issue.
I just want to ask, what happened to the constant jokes and skits and gags that have been missing from your videos for a while now? Did you get tired of doing that type of content? Your scripts are very analytical nowadays
I know I'm probably not the first to comment on this here, but I think a lot of people know how good goyo is, the problem is you'll always run into that one asshole that kills everyone as soon as the round starts... I'd love to play goyo honestly, but it gets annoying to play when this is just basically 1 in every 5 or so rounds.. or at least it is in my tier? maybe it's just a case of the people I just happen to queue up with

I appreciate the way you break each op down; Summary>Tips and Tricks>Counters>Gameplay. It makes each chapter easily digestible, and that's just incredible presentation. You earned my sub wholeheartedly One minor note, I notice when covering Sens you don't once refer to Sens using any sort of pronoun. Not with "they/them" which would be correct, or even "he/him" which would be incorrect. Idk if that's bc of not wanting to upset people either way, but I think if you were willing to put in the effort to not use *any* pronouns for Sens, maybe it's worth using the Sens' proper pronouns. Anyway, that little tidbit doesn't detract from your video being an incredible resource, cheers!

I came back to R6, and after seeing how many new operators we got, and how many changes were made, video like this is such a big help.

Dont put thorns on ceilings and above doors, always put them as close to the ground as possible, otherwise most of the radius is wasted
